किशोर दा अपनी स्टाइल से गाते अब वह ऑरिजनल गाने से ज्यादा हिट होता या कम ,यह तो हाइपाथिकल सवाल है ,जिसका सही जवाब किसी को मालुम नहीं ।
एक म्यान में दो तलवार नहीं रह सकते उसी प्रकार इन दो गायकों में एक सर्वश्रेष्ठ होगा जो सभी प्रकार के गीतों को पूर्ण नियंत्रण के साथ गा सकता होगा और इनके गाये गीतों से यह निर्णय करना कठिन नहीं ।यदि भारत-रत्न के लिए इन दोनों गायकों में से एक का चयन करना हो तो सबसे उपयुक्त कौन होगा? 😀😄😇
मगर इस फिल्म मे लता जी सब पर भारी पड़ी थी, दोनो डूएट गाने मे लताजी की भी आवाज़ थी और फिल्म का सबसे अच्छा गाना था "तू क्या जाने वफा ओ बेवफा प्यार करना तेरे बस की बात नही" लताजी को हम लोग नज़र अंदाज़ नही कर सकते हैं।
"Wada karlay sajna" was absolute beauty by Rafi saab with Lata ji. It was more popular song of the movie those days and even now. Kalyanji-Anandji was sure only Rafi saab could have done this song better.
Certainly Kishore da could have added some extra flavour into it. No doubt about it. But Rafi saheb also sang it nicely.

Wada karle saajna was the best and most popular song of this film, and Rafi sahab was the perfect choice, Kalyan ji Anand ji knew very well that this composition didn't suit Kishore da's style, specially the alaap portion was beautifully sung by both Lata ji and Rafi sahab.

I respect the feelings of others... I have seen many popular singers in their unsuccessful attempt to copy his style of acting in singing... I know many modern music directors who prefer to ignore that diamond era, out of fashion.. they gifted many classically strong singers, but not a singer close to Kishore Kumar, the way he used to justify an actor director and the entire film...
