Please keep the videos coming! I just got this yesterday and have been running in circles trying to get started with recording guitar tracks in Garage Band. First off I think I need to get an XLR to 6.35 cable and go into the dedicated “guitar” port and stop trying to mess with the other instrument inputs. This is the most helpful video I’ve found on this interface yet. Thanks much, you’ve got a new subscriber. 🤘🏻
@@NinecoreNeil I’m having a problem right now where my guitar signal is only going through my headphones and not recording. The only sound being captured is the “acoustic” sound but not the actual signal. I wasn’t having this problem when I first started messing with it and I can’t figure out what I did differently. Based on the sound of what’s being recorded, it sounds like my iPhone mic is the only thing recording and I don’t know how to fix it.
Stumbled on your channel while looking for the best iPhone app to use with my new Joyo MOMIX CAN (the cheap standard mini not the Pro but ooh that looks sweet!). I thought you’d have covered what app you’re using to record/stream. Seems some are using GarageBand? My buddy is learning keyboard and I’m getting back into guitar (Yamaha FSX800C acoustic electric) and we want to send each other stuff, do some live streaming and maybe even jam together remotely if that’s even possible. We live 6 hrs away after job changes etc.
@@NinecoreNeil any input just try to put your garage band or band lab then create a new track, put a drum loop inside the garage band, then hit record and don't play anything and you'll see how the new track records the drum loop you have in the other track :(
@@JorgeSoberanis I think if you want to jam along using Momix you are supposed to put a phone or mp3 into it and jam along live ? I could be wrong but it might be because you are trying to play and record in the same device…. So say if you have two cameras plugged in via otg output and hit record you should be able to record yourself playing along and also the drum loop via aux in
You can use an sm57 or such with it you’d need it slightly loud but not like blistering ,you can turn the volume in the channel up quite high without noise My amps are usually in 1 on master
Id like to be able to play music with the band in places where we may not have access to electricity, such as sidewalk ministry, tent revivals or even campfire jams. (So we would have to use a battery powered amp and monitor system since using a mixer isn't an option without electricity) I wish there was something like this that had more channels that I could take with me anywhere to record to my phone or livestream while on the go. We would just need to mic acoustic drums, mic each battery powered amp for piano, guitars and bass, as well as vocal mics. So at a bare MINIMUM, we need 16 channels. I BEGGED RODE to make a Rodecaster with 16 or more channels. They said no. 😢
@@NinecoreNeil All the amps are battery. All the speakers and all of the monitors are battery. All the mics are dynaminlc. The keyboard is battery with a laptop running ezkeys. Drums are acoustic with dynamic mics. All the guitars have onboard batteries. Presently we would have to use a noisy generator to power a passive mixer.. unless we could find an affordable battery supply that would last 5 hours or more. A battery powered mixer with usbc interface would be a winner. I just havent found one.

There will be much more in this
However mainly used into an iPhone
If you go direct from guitar use the regular inputs

Awesome demo, convinced me to pick this up!

Try recording into your phone with a backing track, it doesn't work, it loops everything
Which Input ?

Can i run my electric guitar and ipad pro with bias fx 2 on it, and output through a guitar amp and desktop speaker simultaneously?
@@noanshere yes providing you have the right cables,be aware though the more you have in you chain the more risk of latency
@NinecoreNeil will this pedal be better at doing that job or ahould i get a audio interface instead, specifically the audient evo 4
@ the new BLACKSTAR interfaces are pretty good 👍🏻
Check them out
@@NinecoreNeil bummer, it's way beyond my budget range
@ I use the Joyo every time I microwave an amp so I Duno it does that ok,I’ve only once got latency where I had to re line audio on iMovie

Can you plug-in into a pa so I can use my vocal efx from an iPad ? For band practice

It’s really for mobile devices like iPhones ect
