Happy Holidays! ❤
#TaylorR #FertilityJourney #Pregnancy
When your son is born, you should bring him to the same hiking spot in the same outfit and take another photo! Then you can frame them to document your journey to becoming a mother 🥲
The Chinese rules may be a bit overwhelming BUT I have to say, you will really appreciate the confinement rules. It's something I missed out being away here in Switzerland. I love how you are REALLY cared for in Asia and you can then focus just one recovering, resting and connecting with baby. With the superstition for renovation, it's probably also just to make sure mom is not over worked and disturbed during the more fragile months. So exciting! Remember to trust your body and yourself, you're both going to be great parents! 💛
Very true ❤️
I’m the opposite. I absolutely hated it. When I had my first I spent extra time being looked after and cared for etc and I wanted to go home so badly. After my second I gave birth just before midnight and before 1am I was walking around restless begging the them to let me go home by day break. They couldn’t of course but I was out of there and back in my home as soon as possible. Same with my last. I hate being cared for I just wanted to take care of my babies and myself in my own comfortable way.
@@aishaacetydopamine837 This isolation tradition has existed FAR BEFORE the one child policy. Are you even Chinese...?
Hello i am from switzerland too. Where r u from? Kind regards frm berne.
Tbh it seems very archaic? Maybe it's just because I'm from Europe and we stopped doing confinement centuries ago but shouldn't it be personal choice? Some women might like it but I think some might find it makes postpartum depression worse. Whatever the mother wants should be what happens. Like it's not okay to shame individuals for cultural practices but I think we should be able to criticise still.
I dont plan to have any kids in a while but one of my childhood friends have had a hard time with IVF and she and her husband have been struggling for a couple of years now, but she finally told me that they were expecting!!! I'm so happy for them, with all that said thank you Taylor for sharing everything with us, the struggles and the joy as well, it has taught me alot! ❤
Aww amazing! Big congrats to your friends ❤️
Also as baby gets bigger, there is less space to move around! I wish you peace, trust and comfort for the rest of your pregnancy. Baby is fine, your body is doing great, try not to worry! 😘
There may be less space, but babies movements shouldn't change due to this, ANY reduced movements should be checked out! Babies don't move less towards the end ♥️
@@MrUmbrellaMan1 Yes!! sometimes, it's fine and the baby truly is just sitting still but lack of movement should always be checked!!
It seems like Taylor has been blooming lately. I don't know if it has something to do with her pregnancy or not. Best of luck to her and Tom if ever the baby comes sooner or later.
I obsessed about movement with my baby to the point that I’d wake up in the middle of the night and refuse to sleep til she moved a good amount. It’s so hard! She never got into a pattern or schedule whatsoever so it drove me crazy! I’m so glad everything is good but I feel your stress!!
Yea! Everything is just so new to me, I’m constantly googling and asking people questions. I felt hiccups for the first time the other day in the middle of the night and I was so scared at first because I didn’t know what was happening 😅
I was like that when I was pregnant, I bought a baby heartbeat monitor and would check several times a day 😳
I had difficulty feeling my baby consistently too, to the point that I went to Triage 4 times. Eventually we decided to induce at 39 weeks because I couldn't just go to the hospital and be monitored 24/7. Thankfully I now have a healthy 4 month old.
@@Taylor_R The most important thing: NEVER EVER hesitate to go to the hospital if you are worried. Don't second guess yourself; just go! I kept worrying about how the nurses or doctors would feel as I kept going, but ultimately they were both more than happy with it (they were like "that's literally why we're here!") but even if they weren't, I'm not responsible for their emotions.
Same here! I would always eat popsicles to make baby move because that always worked 🥺 But I was so worried, especially towards the end.
This vlog made me realize that Taylor is a really good cook. Everything she made looked so tasty! I'm so impressed by everything she does in a day while being so pregnant but I have to say the pregnancy brain sounds really scary. Haha, I hope it goes away after giving birth.
It usually takes a few months after the baby, but it does go away :)
@@Twichl Can also take up to 2yrs for some people. Explains a lot Lol. But yes it does eventually go away : )
Right??? Beautiful person inside and out, can cook, she’s a model...I bet she can really sing too!
@@zuluguman Very true, I follow someone who had their kids a little over a year apart. She's had mom brain for 3+ years now. But I wonder at which part it stops being the hormones and starts being the chaos/stress of young children
@@celestek.2395 bhahaha you must not have been watching her long :P (regarding the singing) I love her and her imperfections!
My aunt experienced the same thing. She and her husband was struggling with conceiving for a few years. We were so happy when she got pregnant. One time, she couldn't feel the baby moving in the evening so she went to the hospital the next day to check. It turned out that the umbilical cord was wrapped around the baby's neck. She also found out that she had gestational diabetes. We lost him at 5 months through the pregnancy. Moral of the story is that pregnant women should always trust their feelings and go to the hospital whenever you are unsure of your baby's health
When you took that ‘one year later’ photo and mentioned all you had been through to get to this point (and grow a big baby bump! 🥟) I started getting emotional 🥺
Thank you for sharing this incredibly personal journey with us and showing just what it means to persevere! 💪🏼 Even when the going gets tough you stay strong and put up a smile 😊 Rooting for you (and little 🥟)!
It’s a good day when Taylor uploads a video, your videos always brighten up my week no matter the topic. Thank you for bringing us along in your life and sharing such important information with such honesty and bravery that no one else ever really wants to talk about. Can’t wait for you baby boy to come and you guys getting to meet him!
Love from Canada!
OKAY, CAN I JUST SAY! Tom's cute little side-commentary of everything just sends me every time. You two are such cuties.
I would be so stressed to move out of my own home during pregnancy! You are handling it like a champ. I hope the remodeling goes smoothly and doesn’t take too long. I cannot wait to see the nursery!
I’ve been watching your journey with my mum. It’s very exciting and a little routine we have now. She doesn’t watch UA-cam much but she is very fond of you ❤️ And so am I we cried about the first video and now are just watching in joy for you.
Awww hi mom! That’s really sweet 🥰❤️
8:10 Rosie’s so cute staring at what you were doing. Hope everything’s going well for you and your family during this journey! I’m not pregnant but I tend to do stupid things during my period somehow. You’re pregnant so whatever you do is fine, it’s nobody’s fault!
BTW your hair look so nice and shiny:)
Mensuration also scrambles your brain depending on your hormones! I'm mostly fine, but sometimes I swear I've gone mad
Thank you for sharing such special moments of your journey into motherhood! 💕 as a first time mom as well it’s amazing what our bodies are capable of
Yes it really is! Congrats to you Mama 💖☺️
The baby brain moments really had me giggling throughout the video 😆
Us Taylor-Tots that have been here for years know that Rosie is a doggy of routine and have seen how she was with change before so I just knew the moment you mentioned her that you were gonna say that she hadn’t been well and it broke my heart 🥺
She’s been the best little supporter by always being with you (even when you’re cooking) and giving baby bump snuggles 🥰 Baby might not be able to feel her fluffiness but I bet he can feel her love through her snuggles ❤️
I had an anterior placenta with my youngest son, and spent many afternoons going to the hospital to get him checked out! It’s scary! I’m so glad he’s ok!
Seeing rosie in a little baby sling as you cook is literally the cutest thing, what is she going to do when the baby is in that spot!
Tom will have to get his own sling 😝
I really love watching you cook! It's so wonderful to see someone who cooks based on what they have, and from scratch, and still so yummy! It makes me want to get in the kitchen every time!
I know exactly how you felt going to the hospital to check!! That exact thing happened last year when I was pregnant and the entire 40 minute drive to the hospital I had terrible anxiety 🥺. They told me he was probably just in a ‘resting period’? Or something basically just not kicking a lot. Glad you all are doing ok, love these videos!
I had the same scare with my first baby. Seeing your journey reminds me of my times being pregnant. You're doing just fine! I legit went to the hospital four times before actual labor lol. You're doing perfect! Side note: your cooking has really improved, which means when auntie Sharla comes to visit, we need a new Shaylor cooking video!
Never underestimate the pregnancy brain, lol. I’ve witnessed it a few times from friends and coworkers going through their pregnancies. Also, I’m so happy you and baby are doing well. Never second guess yourself if something doesn’t feel right to you and trust your instincts. It is always better to check in with the doctor or hospital and have it be nothing than not. Lots of love from Missouri, USA. 💜💜
Me and my partner are going to know in two weeks if we can have babies together. I’m a nervous wreck. I have a long history of infertility, but Taylor’s journey brings me hope. :)
(We are the same age.)
Good luck! My partner and I have been trying for over a year since our first failed pregnancy. My new OB/GYN told me just yesterday that there is only a 0% if you have no uterus at all! That made me so hopeful! Keep your chin up. It just takes some of us longer than others. You'll get there!
Rosie has always reminded me so Shitzu, Jack (RIP), he liked things just so and once he ate a rapper from I think a Hershey Kiss…. 3 days in the hospital and he was so sad with that little drip. He wouldn’t eat there either as he was getting better, so they called me to see what his favorite food was… scrambled eggs… they actually ordered out for breakfast just him! He always was a charming little luv. I miss him so much! I hope to get another dog someday when I don’t as far away from home… but for now I have small nephews to bestow all my love! Again so glad everything worked out… The month will pass by in a flash and you’ll have a beautiful new room for baby!!!
I clicked on thsi video faster than the speed of light, love this! Thank you for sharing your journey ❤️
Every time I see your comparison pics from last year to now, I get super teary! It's so wonderful to see your parenting dream come true. I had the same scare during my pregnancy with low movement... and then he came early at 36 weeks!!! Sending you lots of baby baking dust so your bubba stays put until 9 months x I also hope Rosie stays well! Bad news though; it's been 2 years and the baby brain still hasn't gone away 😭
I started watching your channel for the fertility Journey but honestly I'm just really into how chill your content is and how honest about life.
Can't wait to see your beautiful baby boy you're both going to be such good parents ❤ welcome to parenthood
*claps hands* Happy Monday!! As always thank you for sharing your journey. I know it's been just as helpful to others out there :) Hope the renovations go quickly! We're all rooting for you & Tom
Your picture transformation made me emotional for you. I’m so happy your fertility journey is going so well !
I have absolutely no interest in becoming a mom right now (or the near future), but seeing your journey makes me feel a little envious of all the fun that comes along with it! I'm glad to see you and your family are enjoying your pregnancy and getting ready to welcome your son into the world. :) Looks like you're going to have everything in place, no matter when he comes!
The compression socks will be good when you can run again. Popular with runners.
They really work! 😍
You did the exact right thing - it’s better to be cautious and get checked out than stress yourself out worrying. I’m glad everything’s fine.
I'm so glad you show off your belly from the front, I'm halfway and feel like my body looks so weird from the front! You never see pregnant women show off their bumps from the front, so very much appreciated!
Sweetie, I have to say that after all of these years.... This is the happiest you've ever been and I love it!!!! Plus you look drop dead gorgeous!!!! I'm working on trying to get pregnant. So far, no luck. Spread some baby dust my way please! I hope I look as beautiful as you do when it happens! Of course, I don't mind as long as the baby is healthy. Looking good is just a bonus lol. Can't wait to meet the baby boy!!!!
Seeing the beginning of the year picture and end of the year picture and the changes/how big your belly has gotten made me tear up! I am so happy for you both and wish you nothing but the best in 2022. You guys will be amazing parents!
These vlogs make me so happy!! I'm so so so happy for you, that you'll be a mommy soon!! ❤❤❤
That hiking part made me smile! It's amazing!
Got to wake up for my 20 week/midway scan and this was on my dock! What a joy! Also had to take my cat to the vet while pregnant but had to put him down. I cried a lot too, he was old but very vital to my day! I’m glad she’s ok!!
I have followed your journey for years and I am BEYOND EXCITED for you ♥️♥️♥️♥️ yayyyyyy
Love all the cooking bits you do in your Vlogs, so comforting! Glad to hear everything’s ok with the baby (:
When I walk by baby stores, I imagine how the clothes would look on my future nephews and your baby. I'm so excited to go shopping for babies 😍😍😍
Your food always looks so delicious and gourmet 😭😭 I’m glad everything is okay with baby!!
I'm so glad baby & Rosie are okay...Blessings to the future Mommy & Daddy.....
So crazy you went to the hospital Christmas Eve, becauseI kid you not, so did I. I was 18 weeks and had been noticing a steady decline in activity from the baby, which I had very distinctly been noticing since 16 weeks. That along with alot of other intense problems came over me Thursday evening and persisted through the next day and Christmas Eve night, I was so miserable, we decided to go to the ER cause we were worried I was having high blood pressure. When they did the scan and I heard the heart beat, I bursted into tears. Baby was completely fine thankfully but turns out I had covid (didn't find that out till the next ER trip I had to make next week cause I got worse and for some reason they didn't think to check for that at the first hospital I went to.)
So glad everything is well with you and baby and hope that your temporary stay is comfortable. Happy New Year.
20:20 😂 I remember there was a time you brought the reflector instead of the changing tent when you were out for a shoot I think we gotta label these in huge writing on the outside
Proud of you Taylor! Happy to have found you!
Happy to have you here ❤️
I could literally watch your vlogs each day. The number of times I laugh out loud and rewind, or see a sweet moment and rewind :') Also, I thought Rosie was a mummy's girl, but it turns out she's a mummy and daddy's girl! Cute. I'm glad she's recovered from her food poisoning.
I cry with joy every time I watch one of these videos and see you and Tom and the baby are doing well! 😭😍
Boiled chicken no seasoning, white rice ,fresh green beans ,when blood sugar low 1/2 teaspoon of karo syrup also plain yougart mixed with water pour into ice trays makes a grate treat cutie lil fur baby glad she’s felling better
Omg!! As a first time mom, it's so scary when you don't feel baby move. But I'm so happy to see your pregnancy journey
I'm honestly glad you have done your research and are so cautious with the baby. If I were pregnant right now and didn't feel my baby move, I'd probably be like, it's alright it'll move later. And that not a good mentality to have. Keep being cautious, Taylor! You are a great mother and we're all looking forward to the baby!
Browsing your video is like reading a good book! I have benefited a lot! You are our teacher! Thank you for your hard work! We love you! We look forward to your next works! Your channel is great! We have learned a lot from you! thank you for your sharing!
Rosie is the most adorable little pup I’ve ever seen. I love when you put her in the body carrier when your cooking etc so cute xox
Hi Taylor - Glad to see that both you and baby are doing well. It certainly is always best to be safe when it comes to any concerns. I hope that the temporary move isn't too taxing on you and that it goes all according to plan so that you can settle in with the little one when he arrives. Sending you lots of love x stay safe and well x
Tip for Rosie's blood sugar- if you notice she's not eating rub Karo syrup or honey on her gums it will keep her glucose levels from dropping dangerously. My vet recommended this to me for my little dogs.
Taylor! You’re like superwoman, I have no idea how you manage to do so much and cook such good food multiple times a day! I’m almost 4 months pregnant and I’m sooo exhausted and nauseous all the time. My husband does all the cooking and dish washing and if not we order takeout LOL. I feel so bad because he is doing everything for me at the moment.. but at least he doesn’t mind 🙈🥺
If Rosie were a human I bet she would be this really independent woman who likes her own space but also cuddles a lot with the people she loves. She is kind of quiet and reserved but super intelligent and always knows what's going on. She is very structured, perhaps on the spectrum and has these special interests she gets super into. She loves cooking because she is a picky eater due to her stomach problems but that also means she loves to cook for people and socialises with them in that way. Plus she is really short and sometimes gets overlooked by people until they get to know her and see what a gentle, sensitive, intelligent and kind human she is! As for a job I think she would excell at anything she sets her mind to.
I love Rosie and I love you! Have a wonderful New Year and all the best for your family xx
Wow Taylor looks so beautiful. The pregnancy glow is real!
My prayers are with you, your husband, and the baby daily. God bless. Healthy healthy beautiful baby boy!!
It was so moving seeing that picture from January 2021 versus you now 🥲 I remember when you posted that video with you showing your flat stomach 'hoping' it will be bigger the same time next year and I was also really hoping for you too!!! I'm so happy for you that you got what you wished for 🥺🥺💖💖
Careful with ham! It's a really fatty, salty meat and one of the top foods that cases acute pancreatitis in pets. A lot of cats and dogs get sick around the holidays because of ham. May be worth avoiding altogether, especially for an older dog. I'm glad she's okay though!
Was looking to see if anyone mentioned that ham is dangerous. I’m glad Rosie is ok.
Yes I know this now! Def will never give her any again
I was worried for the baby. I am glad he is alright, and happy you didn't take any chance and went to the hospital. Watching you cook makes me hungry, all you cook seems delicious!
"We are not Gaston"
hahaha, best line ever! Thanks for that, Taylorrrr
I love your family. Tom is so gentle and Rosie is so sweet.
So wonderful that your wish for a baby belly in a year came true. I'm so happy for you guys. All the best for everything that is to come!
Taylor, can I just say that I adore you and wish you all the happiness in the world. You have such an amazing heart and I know you will be a great mother! You look great! Keep up the good work!
Pregnant Taylor is glowing and even more charismatic. I looked like shit when I was pregnant.
At work, can’t watch this second, but looked ahead enough to make sure you guys are okay! So happy everyone is good… Can’t wait to finish watching tonight!
I had the same thing precious, I got told to drink cold water and bounce around (nothing too major though) which worked.
There are scary moments and that's completely normal to be concerned about your precious bundle. You're doing an amazing job.
Aaaah I love the vlogs Taylor. The part where you showed Sheung Wan really got me teary eyed because that's the area I went to a LOT when I was going to HK on a regular basis. Haven't been for 3 years now. Year 4 is upcoming now. Thanks for taking us on this journey and sharing so much about your life. Can't wait to meet your little one!
❤ you look so beautiful throughout your entire pregnancy journey, I've watched quite a few of your videos.❤
The changing tent really tickled me 🤣 I love Taylor on Pregnancy brain! Your so cute!! 💖💖
“Pregnancy makes you feel old”. I’m 32 weeks pregnant. I feel that 🥲🥲
Never ever ignore loss of movement! Even if you think you are going mad or its the sixth time in a week, abnormal movement should always be checked on.
Ty for sharing pieces of your life with us. I have been watching u for years now , you are literally the only vlogger I watch because ur content is so eye opening and wholesome. I’m going through a rough time right now and I look up to u and how u grasp every moment and opportunity in life. Truly beautiful. I hope to be as inspired and motivated as u one day ♥️
Always better to be safe than sorry. You did the right thing, if you have the same experience again, it's okay to go back in. Also, you can lay on your left side and have some juice or something to get him moving. I know that you probably already know this, but just in case.
I'm glad baby is ok. I am so excited to see him! My little ones would go on stealth mode, in the womb too, and it would scare me as well.
I just realised your baby is going to be so lucky to have such a good cook as a Mum 🥰❤️
Honestly anytime you have a concern it's definitely something to get checked. Especially if you've had difficulty with pregnancy in the past
I don’t want kids. I like to teach them, though. I’m genuinely so happy for you. I’m enjoying the journey you’re sharing.
Thank god everyone is healthy - including Rosie. 😇💖🐶
The day you announced the pregnancy i remembered the video from 01-01-2021 and i thought “wow they did it they reach their big 221 goal” and im so happy for you guys and your blessing ❤️
Oh my the spider man and dexter comments made me laugh so hard too funny. Your hiking pictures made me cry happy tears, after watching you talk about wanting to be a mom for years❤️
In the states it would be much more difficult if you were worried your baby wasn’t moving after dinner. A doctor would either tell you that happens and to wait a day or too, you would have to wait till office hour to call (unless there was bleeding or something alarming), You likely would have to wait a few days for an appointment, it’s so nice that there you can message your doctor and go to the hospital for a quick scan.
Healthy baby and healthy Taylor, please!!! No more scary moments, I can't.
I’m so glad that baby boy is okay, and that baby Rosie is feeling better!
Also, pregnancy belt looks super groovy.
I’m living for that bed. I need one for our kids rooms since everything they own goes under there anyway and no one can get the trash cleaned. Looking fantastic girl!
That soup with the squash looked so good!!
Usually *good* contractors would wrap around all your furniture with bubble wraps even before starting any works in the house, but it's funny to see Tom wrapping everything around lol
I got emotional at the 1 year difference pictures. So beautiful to see. I am rooting for you, Rosie and Tom. So close. It gets harder to move BTW.
Thank you for the awesome content as always Taylor! I'm sitting in a hospital room recovering from covid this video gave me some life very happy with these vlogs!!!
Love you Taylor ! You are amazing in everyway. Tom is adjusting. You both will be great parents. It's a ride. You are cute as always with Rosie... Walking and she rides on your belly. I wish you well dear💝
You guys are gonna be amazing parents when your little boy arrives ❤️ when I was pregnant with my son I was so nervous about him moving I would poke and move my belly to the point where he’d finally start moving all over the place but once I got further along like 7-8 months he was so all over the place when it was bed time lol. I don’t miss however the uncomfortableness of being pregnant and I had Carpel tunnel at the end and it was so painful.
Glad to see everything is moving along with only small road bunps. Stay safe. Next time you need a black wall background use the changing tent.
happy new year taylor. love u and can’t wait for baby to arrive. you deserve this so so much ❤️
You're going to be grateful for the wrap, ugh. We didn't do enough before we renovated our kitchen and sooooo much dust. I think I've finally gotten it all and then I find a new spot.
If you feel like baby is not moving too much... have a glass of ice water or milk he’ll soon wake up lol! You look so beautiful Taylor. I’ve followed your journey with such excitement and I’m soooooo happy for the both of you.
I’m a nanna now (50 yrs young) and oh boy how the years fly by so enjoy and hold on to every milestone. Happy New Year to you both and bump! Ps. Your meals always look so appetising and full of colour....yum yum
I loved this video especially the MUSIC!
Pregnancy looks so good on you you’re glowing good looks so good honestly and you look so happy and I can’t wait to see you and Tom become the amazing parents that you already are I’ve been watching you for years and to see you finally become a mom is amazing 😍
Thank you so much ❤️❤️
@@Taylor_R Oh my God I’m freaking out I can’t believe you Reply to my comment I love you so much
