I dont believe in building shit untill they blow. I have had some absolute factory freaks. My 03 mach one with twin 67s was stock bottom end never blew either. Then my c5z06 blew up driving normal... Lol so who the hell knows.. lol. But hen you build I agree sleeve dem bitches. Ps.... Actually now that I think of it my neighbors c6z blew up on a P1sc.. lol... So who knows luck of the draw i guess.
@@Nasty_RS7 oh for sure. Not everyone does the proper maintenance either. N/a ls7's dropped valves no boost required lol. Compared to say an ls3 the cylinder walls are pretty thin. 1000hp is alot, its cool its held up this long.
@@07slowbalt yeah tuning is also key. He used a different tuner and I guarantee that was the issue. A good tuner can take a motor a long way as long as it was built in the factory right with proper tolerances. The issue is the discrepancy and inconsistentcy in the stock valve lashes. Then you get them pistons smacking shit and well thats that.. lol

I just no they are lightweight NA monsters and people say they like nitrous more than boost. Either way c6z is mean I'm just worried about it's longevity. But if you say you boosted 1 who am I to argue aside from adding weight to it with the procharger not much of a downside. High lowend torque prob whips up that procharger pretty fast.

4th gens are light, engine is set back, and dont get loose like a corvette. Had both. 4th gen is definitely better platform for straight line.

Ls7 needs sleeves installed if you're gonna run boost. Very thin cylinder walls. Keeping those 7.0L N/A is the only way to go imo.
