arronlee33 Quick question... in the US, does every section Bradley in a Mechanized battalion have anti-tank missiles or is there just a single anti-tank platoon where only a few (about 6-12 IFVs per battalion) have TOW launchers?
danieb52 All M2A3 & M3A3 Bradley IFVs can be mounted with twin TOW missiles on the left of the turret. :-) I think whether all IFVs will have the TOW missiles mounted depends on the missions & operations requirements. :->
My exposure to the M2 is not extensive, but I've never been a fan of the vehicle. I always wondered how difficult it would have been to Americanize a German Marder IFV. Replace the engine, mount a 25mm Bushmaster, TOW and current US utilized belt feds for the other weapons. Would have saved us the development costs and given us a common platform with a major NATO ally. Maybe then we could move forward and developed a common next-generation MBT which would have combine the Leo 2A6 and M1A2. Then again, the MBT-70 worked out so well as a cooperative venture.
Let me share something about our US troops that I've learned in recent months from our very own active military troops here in Texas that has me confused and perhaps someone can help me understand? I've spoken with countless active duty military from all branches who are taking specialized training at the airbase here in my Texas town, who are fully aware of the government's plan to have the biggest portion of our US troops either stationed in Europe or the Middle East, either fighting or training there, while the US has foreign troops who are training on US soil here in the states, declare Martial Law and take over our cities and towns when the time is right. Now, if our troops are fully aware of this fact, then why are they allowing this tyrannical government to ship their asses overseas to Europe and the Middle East knowing their families here in the states are in danger of these foreign troops over-running this country??? Could someone please explain this so it makes sense to me because, I just don't get it and please, don't give me that horse-shit that soldiers have to follow orders because, I too was a soldier in the early 70's and if I knew then what our soldiers know today... there is no fucking way Uncle Sam would get me to leave US soil, sorry!!! You know, we ALL took that oath to protect our country against foreign and DOMESTIC enemies and this government of ours at the moment is our ENEMY!!!
best military channel for me :)
Thanks for your support my friend! :-)

Those Albanian soldiers look like 35 to 45yr old store clerks !!!??? USMC 24th MEU/ Semper Fi
Lol, few dudes with RPGs in the bushes and a whole Bradley team is out of biz.
If you bother to look at the Bradleys IFV they have reactive armor to protect them from RPGs. And it has worked very well in Iraq .....John.
***** Plus I wouldn't be surprised if they had thermal optics. So that bush isn't saving you from sight or bullets.
The Allied Power
thermal sights can not see through bushes
John Connor They're leaves, if any bit of you is exposed, you'll light up like a flare.
John Connor Correct but in most cases can see thru smoke.
2.28 Почему там АК (Калвшников)?
Because the Albanian gov is too busy stealing to fund the army so we have to use these communist era AKs.
Shpirt Shqiptar i will go with a Ask over anything els.
Think I remember that one. Aco right here
