- Here's a look at the world's longest and tallest single-rail roller coaster. Designed and built by RMC (Rocky Mountain Construction), it stands 131 feet (40m) tall and 3,300 feet (1006m) long with a top speed of 58 mph (93 km/h), it also features three inversions - a Dive Loop, Zero-G Stall and a Zero-G Roll.

That's so much faster and more intense than it looks like. So unexpected. The drops don't feel natural, it feels like something pulls the train down in addition to gravity, therefore a faster drop than any regular drop that uses only gravity. If you're visiting Magic Mountain, I'm not joking - this is a MUST VISIT RIDE.

Yeah, rode this a couple of days ago. Absolutely insane ride. One of the crazier roller coasters I’ve ever been on. So intense. The shoulder restraints were interesting. Over the second hill you feel like you’re gonna fly out. Also, you really underestimate how much comfort having someone in either side of you creates. This is a solo deal-creates a feeling of great vulnerability.
Wish me luck. Might ride this tomorrow. The comments are very helpful-- NOT!!!! Haha.
Im actually going to Six Flags soon for my 32nd birthday. So hopefully, I have the courage to ride this ride when I go.

Energylandia has 18 rollercoasters and the park first openend in 2014. They are already building 3 more coasters so Magic Mountain won’t have the most coasters for long. I do love Magic Mountain tho. My favorite park.
@@YaraMay20 EU funding is what helps with and I have been there I find magic mountain to be better as outside of Hyperion and Zadra Energylandia doesn’t really have any world class roller coasters don’t get me wrong Cedar Point is still the king but if they are gonna become a place that is a must visit they need to make some more world class rides

This ride is insane. So fast. It doesn’t let up until it stops.
Just rode it today in the back - it's pretty great! Had lowered expectations because a lot of people were kinda down on Jersey Devil, so I ended up being impressed by this one. I think the smaller model is slightly superior because they're so aggressive (I've ridden Railblazer half a dozen times or so), but this ride is super fun, smooth, and fixes my biggest gripe with the smaller models by actually feeling like a long enough ride. 9/10 ride, and top 3 coaster in the park!
I have to ride it again. I rode it today too and I didn’t like it at all. I got the very middle of the train and it was half empty too. Running really slow, almost no airtime or whip. I want to see how it is when it’s more warmed up

@@appleman6290 rode it in the front on a fully loaded train mid day, we got a ride as good in terms of forces as any twisted colossus run i've been on.
I rode this yesterday and found it quite intense. I can only imagine how much more aggressive the smaller more compact Raptors are!
I haven’t ridden any of them but the pov from railblazer look so intense that I think the public would struggle with it if drawn out over 3000ft of track, none of these parks want another I305 or Skyrush that are incredibly intense but not super popular with anyone besides enthusiasts so maybe they asked for something a bit toned down
A nice POV, and I like how it reuses the old station for Green Lantern.

Wow, this looks pretty good, especially that airtime hill after the dive loop, but those breaks seem to kill the ending of strong airtime. I'll still ride it! Great job, RMC!
Not sure why the mcbr hits. It literally doesnt on jdc.
The mid-course brakes aren't slowing the trains down at all, the ride is just running slowly right now.
I just rode it today and actually prefer the small airtime hill at the end to the larger one at the beginning, but both are great!
Suprisingly the airtime is exactly as strong as the start after the brakes. I rode it 4 times today, and it was amazing! (It litterally hurt after riding it a few times bcz the airtime was so insane all the way through)

Just rode this yesterday, immediate impressions are that it's one of the best rides on the park off the bat. We were sat in the front two rows and the amount of airtime was still crazy. It's really quite intense, that tight 90 degree bank element is no joke and the views of the other rides are great as well. Easily a must ride at magic mountain.
Tatsu is the best
I rode it yesterday and I absolutely loved it! The drop is super steep but overall the ride is not too intense. The twists and turns are very sudden and extreme, and I could not predict what was going to happen next! Great addition to this park!
does it give you a bad headache like some of the others one? or is it a nice smooth ride?
@@DeathstarsEG It’s actually very smooth! It’s a brand new track so I would not expect it to give anyone a headache! Some of the twists are very sudden though! Think of it as a taller and smoother twisted colossus.

Rode it yesterday for the first time! It was so good that my group had to go on it twice! It's pretty relentless. The break run before the last part of the coaster was not running yesterday, so there were no brakes the whole ride until the end. When I said relentless, it's truly that! It's easily in the top 3 coasters in the park in my opinion, and that means rmc has 2 of the best coasters in the park that are record breakers nonetheless!
I totally agree… it definitely has the most air time … your ass is literally off the seat most of the ride!
I have to agree with most people. This ride looks great with all the elements of a good ride with airtime hills and bank turns.

This is probably the best ride at the park imo. It’s so fast & unique compared to everything else there, aside from the typical standouts like x2 and tatsu.

It does look a little bumpy, though. Not really an issue, and I'm sure it's just the camera, but yea this looks awesome.
I've ridden the Wonder Woman Golden Lasso Coaster at Fiesta Texas and... yeah, all the single rail coasters seem to be pretty rough. Great rides, but surprisingly rough. Time will tell if they last longer because of the one rail or if they wear down faster.

no the bumpiness is real. it’s a smooth ride but at the same time you’ve got these rough, intense whips that definitely feel a little bumpy and unnatural, but it only adds to the charm for me. loved this ride
It is bumpy & intense, so much so by the end of it the bauble had actually fell out my hair😮

The track looks so organic like. I know people said it feels smooth but it also looks smooth as heck. Reminds me of a snake. Technology nowadays is incredible. Such a contrast vs viper 😂 It's cool that we can little snippet of coaster history in SFMM.

All the single rails are basically the same layout, anyways. Nothin' wrong with a clone on top of it. Not having to travel super far to ride a specific coaster is based.

On-ride videos don’t do justice to just how unbelievably fast these Raptor coasters are.
The one in San Antonio is much shorter than this but still quite intense, this one looks like WAY more of that. I can't wait to try it one of these days.

This drop is actually VERY similar to the one on twisted colossus, it's an 87 degree angle and is one foot shorter than the one on twisted colossus while the drop on twisted colossus is 80 degrees. Still two very different rides!

I sat right in front with my 16 yr old daughter right behind me.
The single seat makes it scarier.

It was also the beginning of OKTOBERFEST, so the park was all done up in Halloween..and we got to see the release of the zombies into the park. Added bonus.

If you live in California you probobly know this ride but if you live in New Jersey there is a coaster that has the exact same format as this but it is orange and it is called the jersey devil coaster
The line today was insane. It was scorching hot. The locker system sucked bad as broken. I held water bottles and my friend went first. He finished and held the bottles and I went on. Do NOT have any loose articles but a phone, glasses or hat and you can go in right away. The lockers take forever and we’re broken for most of the morning. Plan ahead. Nothing loose at all or need to wait hours. The ride does not stop for loading so many cars go on empty. I felt bad for the all the workers getting the complaints from hot customers. There are no places to eat or fill cups in DC Universe yet.
I still can't believe they started using those lockers. Don't they charge you for those things too?
@@mistajammin yes one dollar each ride or $8 for like 4-6 hours. I get it that the cars don’t stop but put lockers free outside the ride not to stop the line

Umm I didn’t expect the drop to feel like that. I actually fainted on it and when I woke up I was still on the ride. It was crazy! Plus I was in the back. But I’d do it again just not in the back. If you want to feel it the most sit in the back but if you can hardly do coasters don’t sit in the back.
