Omg I’ve been ending each one individually every morning!!!! Thank you! I’m a part time seller and used to use list perfectly but now use one shop for everything. It automatically lists to 4 platforms when using the app. It has made a huge difference. Also relists for you and shares for you all through the app. Cost is reasonable (or at least was when I signed up). I love it. I canceled my list perfectly subscription. I’m at about 50,000 for the year. Also full time teacher and we have five kids 18 and under. It’s a crazy life!!!
Thank you so much for this video! I followed your tiered sale strategy this past weekend and made 12 sales in two days! That's the most I've sold in a two day period! I'm going to run a tiered sale across my platforms for the next few weekends. You are my online reselling mentor and I appreciate you!
I have a death pile the size of a small bedroom that I need to work on. I've cut back on thrifting and with the 4th quarter, like you unless it's already scheduled I don't plan on going out until early next year. I did just have a sale in my ebay closet and sold some stale items and probably will re-work/donate the rest. Good luck
Its refreshing that there's someone on YT who is honest about the slump in sales. I had to do a Profit and Loss statement for the last 3 months to present and if I would have counted all my Goodwill and What Not receipts it would have been a huge loss. My strategy is to only source a few seasonal items each month getting more seasonal as the weather gets cooler. I sell clothes and vintage collectables. I will sell more home decor and kitchen/serving items in the Fall. I will go over my listings doing a Q & A and adding better keywords and measurements. I'm a person with significant health issues and mobility problems so my ability to list ten items a day or even five is severely stunted. I can do twenty on a very good Prednisone fueled day and barely drag myself out of bed the next. But I HAVE to do reselling to make ends meet especially with this inflation. The key is to source and list smarter, quality not quantity and to let go of items that are just taking up space by offering deep discounts while maintaining the current level of quality in customer service.
Kathy, it's inspiring to hear how you're making ends meet through reselling, even with health issues. It sounds like you have a good handle on what you can handle, what works for you, etc. You are absolutely right - sourcing SMARTER is the best way to go when it's difficult to source a lot in the first place. Thanks for sharing your tips with us!
I’m gonna do the list 10 per day thing with you. Five during the day and five an evening. I’ve been using my phone alarms forever! It’s a great tool for somebody who’s ADHD like me. I also set timers for the amount of time I’m going to spend working on particular things. It keeps me on track
LOL "Haaaallelujah....." That was so funny! Thank you :) Just love your videos. I love the sourcing part, it's the prep and photography that is my least favorite...ugh.
I am on a FAST FROM SOURCING TOO FOR THEE EXACT SAMMMME REASON. Time to list more is at the forefront. I have 2 storages and a house full of items. I'm going to the post office close to closing so I don't go to the thrift shop across the street. Not going to 50 cent day at the bins. When I think of buying something I think NO YOU HAVE THOUSANDS WORTH MERCH YOU HAVEN'T LISTED!
Becky an Ebay rep said end listing but don't sell similar until 24 hours later to give it time to get completely out of the system so to say and start off again fresh fresh into a brand new algorithm. I've been doing it 2 weeks. Not seeing much of difference. 😢😢😢
QUESTION BECKY!!! If you are deleting and relisting items on all these marketplaces that you originally posted with List Perfectly, how to you reassociate those items to the List Perfectly post you created so you can end and mark sold the items for proper tracking? The only way I see to do it is to manually capture the 'number' from the address bar of the new listing and overwrite it manually into the created post in List Perfectly. Thoughts ???
Hi, David. Clearly, I am still trying to figure out the best solution for this haha. For now, I just manually end listings on the platforms I had to relist on. It's obviously not the most efficient way to go about things, but because of how I use List Perfectly when I first bring home inventory, it's impossible for me to figure out which listings are the "oldest" in an easy way. GAhhh
Great video, yes can u please do a video on What not? I would love it! Been a subscriber for years, and it's still so worth it, thanks Becky! ♥️ Dawn-Marie
Hi I'm an eBay seller but thinking of looking into Poshmark / Depop (I'm in Australia so not sure how much smaller it is here) Does it take a while for stores to build / sales to show up? Im really debating the crosslisting thing but Im not sure it'll be worth the time sink vs just getting more listings up on ebay Thanks :) Your vids are awesome, love the personality
I’m not going out to source as much. It takes up a lot of my time and I have a bad back so it’s pretty hard. I’m sourcing on line a lot and I love it. It comes to my door and that’s time saved for listing. I’m sourcing items that are easy to list, small and cutting way down on clothing. I have been listing 10 a day for about 6 months but I think it needs to be a lot more than that and that’s the hard part for me. I end and sell similar each morning while I’m drinking my coffee. I just can’t be bothered with all those platforms and paying for services. I’m eBay all the way. Sales are steady, not great but that’s ok. I make offers often and accept most because I have minimum offers set.
That's what I love about reselling - everyone gets to run their business how they want! I definitely see some pros to only selling on eBay or selling less clothes; I personally have tried hard goods enough to know it's not my jam haha. I'm glad you're enjoying online sourcing and have found a way to source in a way that's more enjoyable for you! That's great!
@@beckyparkco Thanks! I have so many clothing items its nuts. I am happy to say some are starting to sell that I have had forever. Oh I get it. If it’s not your jam it’s just not! It has to be fun to you to sell. I could never do pots and pans and old appliances. It is more enjoyable and I can stay in when covid ramps up too. I hope we all have a great 4th quarter.
Not sourcing is so true but if it helps you relax or get out. Idea: allow $25 to go thrift and 45 min in store. I set my timer going in. That way you get to focus on getting the gem and the thrill of the hunt without going completely cold turkey.
You have promoted list perfectly for a long time now. In list perfectly you can end and relist, why are you using all these other relisting softwares? And, if you are using all these other softwares does it make it difficult to manage the active listings across the various platforms to make sure you don’t keep sold items active
Hi, Kelly! You are definitely not the first to ask this question. You can read my response to some of those other comments, but yeah - in essence, you're right - this is ideal. I need to figure out a way to get into that sort of system where I am delisting and relisting with List Perfectly, but because of the way I have stuff set up within List Perfectly, I'm finding it hard to do that way. But if anything, everyone's comments on this matter make me want to explore this even more haha.
I only sell on eBay but I do list every day. I also run a sale most days, relist daily any items approaching 30 days old and send out offers to watchers. I also accept all reasonable offers because I think it helps the algorithm. As long as I am making a profit on my items I am good with it. The key is to get inventory in and get it out. Hopefully your strategies work and thanks for another great video.
I follow a similar process and I am getting sales. You mentioned accepting fair offers. I check out the competition. I ask myself, "Can the potential buyer purchase this item for the offer price from someone else?" If the answer is yes then I take the deal. I don't choose what is a fair offer. The marketplace e does. I try not to worry about what I thought it was worth or what it might be worth next month. I take the money in front of me...I get sales. I have money coming g in everyday.
How do you stay on top of your photography in order to list 10 a day? This is where I struggle to meet the listing goal of 10 a day since I also have a FT job. I run out of daylight by the time I get home from work and can’t get it All done on weekends. Any suggestions. Love your content!
Hi, Denise! So, when I have a spare hour or two in a day (typically on the weekend), I will photograph as many items as I can in bulk. I also have a lightbox where I can photograph shoes and bags when it's dark outside. I hope that helps!
don't apologize for commenting so much! I have the level above the basic store I believe? But I think even with a basic store you can run sales! (I could be wrong, though, so make sure you do some research before you sign up haha)
I don’t know if this will work, but before my items on eBay relist for another month, I’m looking at how long I’ve had them and how much I paid and selecting to end and sell similar either as a buy it now or auction if they’re super stale. And that’s because I nearly exceeded my 1000 listings last month and don’t want to pay extra listing fees on inventory that’s really not worth it. I know you do that too so let me know if you find it worth it just to move stuff out and make more room.
Super smart! Unfortunately, I also don't have a ton of luck with eBay auctions lol, so if anything, I think just gradually lowering the price could work if the issue is that the items have been overpriced a bit.
for movies and tv shows, they wear glasses without lenses. Once you notice it you can't un notice it, like the arrow in the Federal Express logo. If you don't NEED your glasses to do the video, try just using a simple pair of frames with no lens.
haha unfortunately I really need either my contacts or glasses, and something was wrong with my eyes that day which is why I needed my glasses haha. Otherwise, I wouldn't have worn them!
Since you're already paying listperfectly $150 a month for inventory management, wouldn't it be easier to just end certain listings there daily and relist them from there in one step on all platforms? I think your inventory numbers and links would stay up to date that way too. For those who don't pay those fees, what you describe in this video would work, but it's awfully cumbersome and time consuming.
For sure. Honestly, ultimately at some point, this is what I need to do. The reason I don't do it like this is because the dates I start listings in List Perfectly are all wonky. I use List Perfectly as my inventory management system, so as soon as I get home from sourcing, I'll start listings and put information in each listing regarding my cost of goods, sourcing location, etc. But I don't necessarily LIST everything from one sourcing trip in one sitting; items from one sourcing trip will get listed on different days, sometimes different weeks or even months. So the "dates" listings are started and updated on List Perfectly don't necessarily match up with the order of events in terms of how I'm listing stuff..does that make sense? lol. But if you have thoughts, please let me know!!!
@beckyparkonposhmark. It does make sense. I don't use the program as its too expensive for my small business, but you would save so much time if you could figure it out. Is there a blank field somewhere you could use? Or maybe put the list date in the same field as your inventory location. If it doesn't allow slashes, just use periods.
@@beckyparkco I used to delist and relist with Posher VA but I cancelled it when I started using Flyp for sharing. But it’s not as efficient I think. List Perfecly I haven’t tried, too expensive for me at the moment.
I have rarely sourced this year after deciding to get into poshmark last year. I have so much inventory much of it new with tags. I decided to drop almost all of my clothing on poshmark to $10 or under to empty my closet and concentrate on ebay. That hasn't even helped. I guess I will just have to be patient. Meanwhile ebay has really slowed down too. I think all of the platforms are oversaturated.
Yeah; I think part of it is saturation, but I think it's also a testament to the fact that we can't just list items and forget about them. Platforms want a more proactive approach, which is what I'm going to try this month and see if it makes a difference.
Sell similar and new listings daily really does help. How much do you pay on all the extensions, programs and subscriptions? I'm too cheap, Im only on Ebay and Amz FBA. I'll do it myself, that's my profit margin. 😆
haha I hear ya. I pay for PosherVA quarterly, and I honestly can't remember how much it is...$60? $70? Something like that. Honestly, I don't pay for List Perfectly anymore because I have enough referrals to cover my monthly fee. Aside from that, I don't think I really have much else. Personally, I've gotten to the point where I will pay GOOD MONEY to save time and headache haha.
I’ve been listing 2 items every 2 hours or so, up to 10 items or whatever is in my drafts from the day before. I set a timer on my phone to remind me. I can’t say that I’ve seen much of a difference. I think the listing in general has made the biggest difference, but compared to when I started listing consistently to what I’m doing now there’s been no real difference in sales. I do like the time that I feel like I save and not having to sit for long periods of time at once. Probably won’t continue this long term though. I just have the time through the day now.
Thank you so much! Needed to hear this, been feeling a little discouraged, but only been doing less than a year. Still trying to figure out the puzzle of why I cannot get things sold for as much as what you've shown. Also, why people sell on PMark when they take 20% off the top and its so easy to sell on the other platforms...so much to learn but love it!
Hi, Heather! Honestly, I think the more sales you have under your belt, the more love notes, feedback, etc, people feel more comfortable paying more to buy items from you. it also depends on the item itself; if it's something like a pair of American Eagle jeans and there are 100 of the same style listed in the same size as yours, it'll be really hard to get "top dollar" because some people are selling it for so little. If you can find less saturated items or items in sizes that are not as saturated, that can help you make more money on those listings as well. Regardless, I'm glad you're having fun!!!
Becky Please see the info sent From LP on sell Similar for ebay. I believe that they ask us not to do it the old way that we all were doing. It messes up your LP Catalog. I know you are BUSY!!!
I’m in Memphis TN and we have some very wealthy areas that have fabulous yard sales. I also hit the sales close the the college. Those are the BEST sales.
Today is Friday and I had 0, yes! 0 sales this whole week. I don’t know what to think anymore. I just started reselling 6 months ago and even on my first weeks, this never happened since I started. 😩
I hear ya. It is ROUGH out there. Have you listed at all this week? I agree with some of the other commenters - I would try relisting some stale listings and see if that does anything!
It does. I need to find a better system haha but it has to do with the way I start listings when I get items home after sourcing. But yeah - I just have to manually go in and end listings on certain platforms.
Just got my paypal going again and connected to ebay and depop to start selling there. Doing a to do list for my marketing company and my reselling. MUST list or relist at least one a day goal is 5-10 new a day. Sorting the bags and picking out the fall clothes that are in style. I already share like crazy. I also started calling my friend so we can encourage each other.
Great ideas, Becky! I’m definitely short of my goals as well 😅 I love the idea of breaking up the listing to morning/evening! Loveee PosherVA; best investment I’ve made.
@@KarlaGarcia-gw8ue You can apply for a states sales tax exception to avoid paying taxes on your purchases at Goodwill etc. If a store chooses not to accept you tax form then you can file for a sales tax refund at the end of the year. Talk to a tax consultant to see what to do in your state. You need to keep good records either way. RED FLAG ISSUE. Use a business card dedicated to business purchases....and don't even add a pack a gum to that recept....Talk to a tax expert that specializes in small businesses. I agree with you about relisting but I have a question about how the methods you discuss effect list perfectly. I typically use them to delete and relist only because I need the most up to date item numbers in this app to be sure that when it sells I update all platforms.
Yup - I absolutely should be doing it this way but I don't because of how I start each of my listings when I bring items home from the thrift store. But honestly, I need to figure out a way to do it the way you're describing.
It's always good to reaffirm actions, but you have to be realistic with what you get can done with your spare time, I hope you can do it. I have an inventory tracker of all my hauls $'s, sales, how much I've listed, etc. This is my Grounding tool. I have stopped sourcing until I have my 2022 inventory $'s 100% Earned back and I've only listed 35% of the inventory. I have currently earned back 79%. It is gratifying everyday when I see that % increase. When I want to go out sourcing, I just look at my tracker and it grounds me "not today".
I use seller insight copy feature to list and relist on Mercari. But I do have to reload the photos. I have been working on reposting my old Mercari listings and dropping prices. Good luck with all your new strategies!
I have worked so hard to stop sourcing! It's been almost 4 wks and i only have 2 trash bag sized deathpiles left! I think after i'll start relisting all my old items. tfs!
Very nice video, a good reminder of how important re-listing is! I am not confident I would get many people at a whatnot since I have no following on social media, even though I have been selling on ebay since 1999 (and Poshmark for five years).
whatnot is such an interesting beast. The cool thing is, there are some people who have found a ton of success on there with zero social media following. I guess you never know until you try!
I literally just couldn't remember what it was called, but it's their "copy listing" feature they came out with a year or so ago. It's the new workflow they created to help sellers copy listings.

So the "dates" listings are started and updated on List Perfectly don't necessarily match up with the order of events in terms of how I'm listing stuff..does that make sense? lol. But if you have thoughts, please let me know!!!
@@erikahajiantoni899 Yeah...in an ideal world, I would use List Perfectly to delist and relist listings too. I have to figure out a system for this...
Would you like a Angel Reading?
I just have the time through the day now.
oh interesting! I like that idea too. It'd be kind of hard for me due to my work schedule, but if that works for you, that's awesome!
@@beckyparkco I understand! I was a teacher in another time known as the last 13 years of my life.
Great tips as always!!
Thanks, friend :)
@@beckyparkco yes, its been like a puzzle of experience combined with mew learning and tips from others. Thank you!
Becky Please see the info sent From LP on sell Similar for ebay. I believe that they ask us not to do it the old way that we all were doing. It messes up your LP Catalog. I know you are BUSY!!!
Very helpful video!
Yay! I'm glad you found it helpful!
Ditto here! I am determined to get through the death pile. No more stores only source at yard sales.. and push the product.. good luck. Keep us posted
I’m in Memphis TN and we have some very wealthy areas that have fabulous yard sales. I also hit the sales close the the college. Those are the BEST sales.
Yes!!! You got this!
Today is Friday and I had 0, yes! 0 sales this whole week. I don’t know what to think anymore. I just started reselling 6 months ago and even on my first weeks, this never happened since I started. 😩
Run a sale, end and relist
One weekend I had 2 sales and 4 returns. It's been better lately.
I hear ya. It is ROUGH out there. Have you listed at all this week? I agree with some of the other commenters - I would try relisting some stale listings and see if that does anything!
@@damondeals9350 oh noooooo that is so sad. But I'm glad it's getting better!
@@BenVanCamp do you end and relist or end and sell similar?
I love these tips. I definetly learned new things about ebay
yay! I'm happy to hear that :)
Very good that's what I do like 5 in morning and 5 in evening and more sometimes
Do you feel like it helps?
I have a question, since you're not delisting and relisting through list perfectly, does that mean you're losing the connection to all your listings?
I also started calling my friend so we can encourage each other.
having an accountability partner is HUGE. I hope these things bring you more sales!!!
Great ideas, Becky! I’m definitely short of my goals as well 😅 I love the idea of breaking up the listing to morning/evening! Loveee PosherVA; best investment I’ve made.
oh man - my hands are still recovering from the days I used to share my closet by hand :(
Out of those 16,000 that you made. Do you still have to turn around and pay taxes on it?
Yes you have to pay taxes on any money that you make.
@@banamom2349 do you have a seller certificate so you don't pay taxes while buying it and then again when selling i
Lol!
He/she will save you money and help prevent an audit.
yes :)
Are you doing anything different when listing on Poshmark? I’ve seen several people recommending short titles
Personally, I am not.
Great video
thank you!
Sorry I made the comment. I see others have already mentioned this.
Can you share what you use to track inventory, sales etc? I’m new to reselling and haven’t found something yet. Thank you!
That sounds AMAZING. I'm trying to figure out in my head how you came to those 35% and 79% figures, but that is pretty cool!
@@beckygarza3688 right?? It sounds like a really cool tool!
FYI on Facebook Marketplace when you delete and relist all of your tags/search words in the listing disappear.
shut. up. I had no idea! Thank you for letting me know!
I use seller insight copy feature to list and relist on Mercari. But I do have to reload the photos. I have been working on reposting my old Mercari listings and dropping prices. Good luck with all your new strategies!
Can't you just download your pictures from Seller Insight with the click of a button?
I have worked so hard to stop sourcing! It's been almost 4 wks and i only have 2 trash bag sized deathpiles left! I think after i'll start relisting all my old items. tfs!
That's amazing! What an inspiration :)

Do you have to have a store to do a sale on eBay?
Yes you do.
@@banamom2349 thank you

Yes you can do the fb relisting in your phone .. but sales stopped on fb… mercari is blah .. 🥴
Yeah...I make like 1 sale on FBMP every 2-3 weeks lol.
Poshmark “new flow”????
I literally just couldn't remember what it was called, but it's their "copy listing" feature they came out with a year or so ago. It's the new workflow they created to help sellers copy listings.
@@beckyparkco ohhhhh okay, makes sense. Thought I’d missed an update; love your videos!!👍🏽👍🏽❤️
