This is quite good, but I'd recommend watching some other luthier videos (StewMac especially) to see different perspectives on the topic. The 1st fret action really _must not_ be made too low, but it needs to be low enough that the guitar plays well. Also, if you're planning to level and crown your frets before finishing the nut slots, this presents an opportunity to apply a little compensation, by setting the first couple of frets' crowns slightly closer to the nut.
Are brand new graphtec nut slots perfectly even with whatever radius out of the box? I’m wondering if I can skip filing the nut slots if I buy a brand new one and sand the bottom.
I don't know of any nuts that will allow this, because they must be adjusted to suit the specific measurements of the guitar, and every guitar is different.

Thanks for some good advice 🙏🏻😃

I honestly don’t have any experience with that but let me know if you find out 😉
Thanks for watching 😃🙏🏻

Filing the nut is the scariest thing to do on a guitar.
True 😅… I did it on my 78 Gibson 335 😱😱😱
