    It's a male and female couple. Seem to me they communicate to bond more.

    They’re obviously a married couple and she just won’t leave him the hell alone

    They are a bonded pair they hop and dance around with each other because they want to mate. If you dress in all black and feed them hotdogs they will do the same with you thinking your a giant raven and follow you home.

      I am not certain but it definitely caught my eye when I saw this behaviour.

      I think its the male feeling the female through the winter. Once its spring he will be the one who eats first again
