That is identical to my first car, same year, model, trim, colors, down to the white half top, pin strips and side moldings. The only difference is that mine had power locks and driver's seat. I was 17 y/o and bought that car in 1985 with 8,800 miles on it. I felt like a real grown up in that car. So cool to see your's. Thank you for sharing.
We have similar taste in cars. My first car was a '80 blue Cutlass Supreme. Traded it after two years on a new '84 Cutlass Calais which I ordered; same color as yours, medium dark royal blue metallic. After three years, the paint was completely shot on the hood, roof & trunk; cracked, oxidized & turned purple. I traded it on a new '87 442 which I still own today. That car's paint was also shot by 1990. GM gave me $450 in a silent recall for a respray. Best car I ever owned; all original after the paint job with 122,000 miles. Good luck with yours.
what a beauty, I grew up riding in one of these, my aunt has a 1988 cutlass supreme classic with the euro grill, rally wheels, floor shifter, now it's just sitting and wasting away, she passed 10 years ago, the car hasn't been touched since her adult children/ my cousins just letting it rot away
This brings back such great memories of my first car! It wasn’t brand new when I got it, but to me, it was the best car ever! 1983 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme Brougham…ah, good times!
Very nice. Thank you for sharing. They just do not make them like that anymore. This is when the Cutlass was the number one selling car in the country.
I've always been an Oldsmobile fan my father bought one other cutlass Supreme broughams the same year with a rare t top option with the rally gauge pack he paid 14 k for it back in 1984
Seeing your cutlass Brougham reminds me of my Dad when he purchased one brand new in 1986 same color but the vinyl top was navy blue and it had t tops and the rally gage pack plus it had little tiny lights on the hood for your headlamps and turn signals they dont make em like they use to
Beautiful! I owned the exact same model in that color scheme. Always received compliments on the appearance and ride qualities. Enjoy . You have a beautiful vehicle.
Unleaded fuel only. Very nice my friend, also I liked that olds on the lawn feel, nice shot. I’ve played derby with these vehicles to see one with so much peace makes me smile.
Wow I had that same car except mine had a matching blue vinyl top. I really liked that car. It was a great car. Gas mileage was not great but hey gas was pretty cheap back then
Your Cutlass is very nice and I enjoyed your video. I admire people who take care of there cars. I love Cutlass Supremes. Actually I own my parents 1980 with 38K. It is the light blue with the dark blue interior and white mock convertible top. The top was an $800 option from the factory on the window sticker. I might do a video like yours someday.
Only thing that broke on mine was AC compressor which had to be replaced. That and brake pads, tires, and a battery but I drove it a lot of miles with no problems
These are still great cars and l would love to have one that's in good condition and rust - free. Only thing l would do to give it my personal touch is remove the hood ornament and radio antena and add some cragar chrome wheels. SWEET !
Hy mister Rivera tocallo question are you selling the oldsmobile cutlass supreme let me know I'm looking for a original one just like your clean no rust no dirt let me know thank you...
I had a new 1981 just like this. Unfortunately it was equipped with the 3.8 liter V6 and it was very slow. I loved the car, but it should have had a larger engine.
@@oldtwinsna8347 Perhaps not, but if I could have ordered the car (I purchased mine in September, 1981) I would have specified the 3.23:1 gear ratio. Standard was a 2.14:1. The 3.8 also didn’t run particularly smooth.
🗣🎙I Would love to Own it. 🥰🥰 Just Bring back Clean 80's Day. 🗣🎙An The Ride You Can't Beat. 🗣🎙 My Relative Own One. Just Awsome Car, Not too big or Small. But All Luxury Wrap Up in one.

The 140hp 5.0 V8 was not much better, you didn't really miss anything. Some guys hot rodded their engines with a chevy V8 but that was very rare.

Was the Buick Regal version of this model year superior to Olds..?
I think it's a matter of preference, and I personally prefer the Olds to the Regal.
How much
Is it 25K or 125K miles and what do you think it is worth? Steve
It's 125,000 miles, and right now its worth is measured by my emotion which is pure happiness that this is parked in my garage :)
How much?
Clean
