Faulkner Oldsmobile here in Philadelphia Pennsylvania sold loads of these cars. They had the Supreme, Supreme Brougham, and the Salon. My late grandmother Edythe Goldstein had an all navy blue Brougham Coupe with same hubcaps. Awesome car
Man, definite dream car for me. As much as I love lowriders, even if money was no thing I wouldn't dare cut a g-body this clean and with this type of low mileage. I'd put mild Flowmasters duals on it and ride it as is.
I use to own one when i was a teenager it was super clean and i ended up selling it to my brother then he traded it for a durango..i was really upset. I wish i would of kept it.. for sure one of a kind since it had t-tops bucket seats and European front-end ❤
Man, 20+ years ago you couldn't swing a dead cat without hitting a clean G Body and could get a clean one for under $4k. Damn, I officially sound like my father lol, he'd say that about 64 Impala's they got for a few hundred and crashed in demo derby's.
I agree when I was a kid in the late 80s you could buy a cutlass for a couple of hundred dollars used my father told me that one day the G body cars will be as popular and collectable as the 57 chevy bell aire he was right
I haven't followed price trends for these 80's GM type of cars for a while. Wow! $35k!!! My friend got a super clean low mileage 1986 Buick Grand National (Not the GNX) for $5k back in 2005. I'm almost scared to check out late 60's early 70's Chevelle/GTO/442... how much they are now.
I know my 86 T-top Salon in the same color with rally wheels was one of about 2400 built for that year, and I know the 87 model build number was even lower than that.
I believe that because the G body cars were popular among car thieves they break the left side of the steering colum and break the linkage that starts the car I had one stolen back in 1994 luckily I was able to recover it a week later
Most Oldsmobiles with the 307 especially the loaded ninety eight regency and delta 88 and your cutlass Brougham and solon and 442 and 1983 84 hurst olds came with cruise control the vacum diaphragm is located in front ot the intake manifold connected to the throttle of the carburetor
Oldsmobile Cutlass Salon is supposed to be the ugliest car according to what comedian Bill Burr just said this morning and his podcast . I don't know which year he was talking about but , he certainly was wrong ... especially if he's talking about this one here
Don't be sorry, this car has sold. If you find some Grand Nationals with 19,xxx miles on them we can buy for that, please let us know where they are! Do you have some listings you can forward to us?
...I wouldn't give anyone $5.00 for those old '80s pieces of junk! Poorly built top to bottom from the factory - including leaking T-Tops, thin glass & the cheap 'fade-peel' paint jobs! Also - terrible crash ratings, low horsepower under the hood (engine choked with emissions crap!) & undercarriages that rust away quickly in the Winters, especially up North! Take that $35k and invest it in a much older quality-built car or truck with real and lasting value!
I miss the Oldsmobile Cutlass

When GM made beautiful cars.
Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme was the most popular car in America for years. The Salon version is rare.
Absolutely beautiful smooth running engine
This is a beauty love the condition and plus the t tops 87 and 88 is my favorite because of the front clip love the euro headlamps

I owned the same car with a carriage top. Sadly it was stolen but it was a pleasure to drive that car.
I had an 87 maroon man I miss that car, this one is a survivor kudos to the original owner!!
The cutlass solon was a more upscale option for the cutlass supreme just as the rear wheel drive cutlass Calais from the previous years
Absolutely beautiful
MAN! That was one of my dream cars!
Boy, is that 'some kind of wonderful!'
WOW! She is a beauty, man. Takes me right back to my days of being a JV baseball jock in high school ;) JV Johnny 🤪⚾⚾
What a beauty!!
i remember in the early 90s this cars were @ a use car lot ...i bought a marrón one no tintops ( 🙁 ) for $3800.00 in pay months...i miss that car 😢
We All Love This 1970s/1980s Body Style On GM Cars.

For the record, I've never swung a dead cat. I've equally witnessed great examples of feline and G Body cars.

Less than 35k. This one has a 25k dealer markup, at least.
I miss my beautiful 86 salon with t tops😭
Está hermoso como nuevo gracias por mostrarlo
Im grateful to have one of these right now i bought mine back in 98 want sell it 4 anything 😂these prices on these g-bodys has sky rocketed 😅
Agreed. I bought my 87 Salon with Astro Roof in 2000 for $3650. It was in nice shape with 95,000 miles on it.
Yeah I know but gotta admitt cutlass supreme is worth it miss mine crying right now
100% GORGEOUS !!
Love this cutlass
Wow just wow

My favorite car forever
This car didn't even cost 34000 when it was brand new 😂 I had one in 2000 double bucket seats just as clean for 2200
Yes I remember in 2000 those cars in very good condition prices were around 3000 5000 maybe 10,000 in some cases
@@thechampion9525ikr. 36000 these people are nuts😂😂
Scorps! yea baby
They should have built these for 10 years…
They did, lol........... from 1978 to 1988
🤩🤩🤩 I love that car!
Beautiful car.
Wow that’s a nice cutlass
Had the same color combo on a 1983 Cutlass, except i had the Olds rally rims with the T-Roofs, Was stolen in 1986 never recovered!!
Back then thieves stole many of those hubcaps as well and it happened to my dads 1984 Ninety Eight Regency
I believe that because the G body cars were popular among car thieves they break the left side of the steering colum and break the linkage that starts the car I had one stolen back in 1994 luckily I was able to recover it a week later
I have a 87 Cutlass Supreme Brougham V8 with 30k miles like this one but wish mine has t-tops 😃
This is a very nice car I love ii
Awesome
Be honest, did you ever think this car would ever sell for 35k?
The wire wheels and whitewalls look off on this, it would look better with the body color Cutlass 442 wheels with BFG's
I hope no-one converts this G-body to a Donk or lowrider it would be a shame!
Cruise control........does it come with cruise control ?
Most Oldsmobiles with the 307 especially the loaded ninety eight regency and delta 88 and your cutlass Brougham and solon and 442 and 1983 84 hurst olds came with cruise control the vacum diaphragm is located in front ot the intake manifold connected to the throttle of the carburetor

34,000 I would buy a Grand National I'm sorry

The doors sag. Buyer beware.
You can replace pins on doors helps with sag problems

They weren't crap if people took care of them. The evidence is right here in the video.
With kids today ...someone will buy this and turn it into a lowrider..hopefully not...this is a classic from my day
