He was right about 2PAC’s legacy hitting every part of the earth. Some people hate to admit it, but he’s the biggest Hip Hop Icon to stand the test of time.
Just like them bullets hittin every inch of 2pacs body 😂
@JALEN AVERY (Lloyd Avery II's Son) WTF... That's huge karma headed your way now. Dangerous shit trying to be funny.. God Bless
@@tktheshark6442 if he’s truly Lloyd Avery’s son then he may be directing some of his past trauma regarding his Pops on PAC for some reason. He comments on every video that’s PAC related.
@@tktheshark6442 karma doesn't exist myfriend otherwise pac himself would still be here today for yall to cuddle wit 🤣
@@jalenaverylloydaveryiisson8862 just like a bitch nigga response we expected lmao
Tupac did more in his 25 years of life that people can’t even achieve in a lifetime
I think about that often.
🕊🐐💚
What about the 25 years people live beyond that.
It's easy to get beatdown and shotup on/off sets 😂
That only solidifies how much of a waste his death was.
The Hughes brothers and John Singleton made my teenage years so great all there movies was so epic you just don't get that effect from movies these days I'm truly honored to here this story today 🙏🏽
Damn sure was some good times
John Singleton was phenomenal🎉🎉🎉
Well said. I believe the 90s was the Greatest era ever for Black Film. Notice There wasn't any Slave and Butler movies being made then.
The Brotha has been deceased now longer than he lived and his art is still relevant. Think about that.
Ha that's crazy.
Everyday I hear PAC somewhere, can't say the same for any other deceased rapper from that time, even when will smacked Chris at the awards, there was memes about PAC relating to the incident because of Jada and their history
Pac was everything to me when he was alive and still is to this day!
The brotha lost hiz wigpiece numerous times by real street gs he couldn't get down wit..think bout that 😂
"Be a Legend, breathing or dead..."
Man he breathing REAL LIFE into Pac. I love it. Ppl think negative sometimes of Tupac and ppl don’t understand how young he was tho. How enlightened he was. Who his parents were. I appreciate this interview Breakfast Club!
Brah this pac opp 😂 are u crazy
@@JeebyTube afterwards but obviously they had a good relationship prior to the fallout
Then a crip took all the breathe away outta pac 😂
@@AssassinKing30 thts if pac welcomed one of the Hughes bros. In his hotel bed
Allen Hughes gave a great interview. He took me back to my teenage years with Menace and Dead President.
Tupac had beef with them when he was alive how do they get to direct a movie about afeni 😒
Yeah Me too..
I just wish Pac was in Menance too
@@vontesantos5981 He apologized to them before he died and they had a legendary On screen/Camera career together besides John Singleton who's also Dead..
They were Friends..
@@dereomiebi977 where is this apology never heard of it & we not talkin about the great John singleton rest easy 🤲💙
@@vontesantos5981 He said Pac apologized to him and I'm saying it would have been John Singleton but since he's Dead it gotta be the Hughes brothers .
Come on they've done more good for Pac and His career than Most of us..
We should be grateful.. He was around.. they fought cuz that's what brothers and Friends do.. real friends
You know Vlad is on speed dial trying to get the Hughes brother’s interview, after seeing this interview 🤣
I hope not cause I am sick of Vlad asking everyone Tupac questions
😂😂😂😂
@@marlo_millionaire i actually enjoy hearing everything about 2 Pac
@@marlo_millionaire I agree! His questions are not sincere either! It always seems like he is fishing for something!
This is best breakfast club interview in months
Envy needs to start selling t shirts that say “Break it down for people that don’t know”
Right !!
He and John Singleton told the street story exactly how it was!!!! I love both of them and the work they put out. Cannot wait to see the TUPAC story on FX T.V. 👍🏿
I look forward to pac gettin his wigpiece pushed back to back in the story too 😂
Yet neither one of them was from the street and they made L.A. like a comic book. It wasn't as bad as the movies.
The reality of how everything actually played out coming from someone who was up close and personal in that era hits different! It opens your eyes and mind to a lot! Tupac has experienced so much in a short time! He was an epic icon!!
Tupac blew it all by constantly going backwards in his sh0rt time..
U can tell this guy is a real honest humble guy
I appreciate everyone that played a part in Pacs life…and Shoutout to all the UA-cam creators telling amazing stories of our culture. 🙏
So you appreciate ALL the Watchers, Spies, Handlers, Fake Friends and Sycophants!
These were 98% of the People in PAC’S Life!
This made me feel better that he actually cares about Tupac and will do him justice despite the problems they had.
Real talk. That was the elephant in the room. I remember the interview on the "Sway" show seemed like the H.Brothers were still emotional and tempered about their relationship.
Me too
This Dude does not care about PAC! He is selling US his
Docu-Series! LOL 😂!
The interview i had no idea i needed, i was rewinding parts like crazy, i love hearing stories as they happened in real time by the people that was actually involved, personal experience never gets old, always important to pick these historical brains long b4 they leave this earth becuz there is nothing like story telling from a person who is cognitive and have a photogenic memory
Tupac's writings and lyrics will always be relevant and real for at least the next 200 years
Cap...they're just recycled susspect material 😂
Bro real talk who are you? You have a lot of hatred for Tupac and he’s been gone for over 25 years.@@jalenaverylloydaveryiisson8862
@@LIVELETLIVE04 I'm your biggest nightmare 😈
THIS IS INTERVIEW WAS EPIC!!!!🎉 The Hughes bros. got stories upon stories to tell. This is the interview we needed.
These are the interviews I enjoy. Great interview
This was a great interview. I was critical of Allen doing dear mama, but after listening to the reason he took this on I feel he’s perfect for the dear mama. I look forward to watching the documentary. CTG and envy you guys hit this interview out of the ballpark. This was well worth the watch. Respect to all three of you leaders.
This was Amazing interview!!! As someone who grew up in the times he is talking about, it’s both nostalgic and inspiring to hear him speak about the legacy he and his brother built!!!
Am so glad Allen is a real one he kept it authentic with the 2 PAC Dear momma and his overall relationship with the late great 2pac! Gained a new respect for him…. They were just kids under 25 and doing great things for the culture!!
Long Live Tupac

This is one the best interviews ! Very insightful!
Hughes brothers did a great job with this so far. I really like that he went to the people who were around Pac 24/7- His cousins, Watani, Leila, and a lot of the OG panthers who was around him constantly.
I'm a Canadian in his early 30's and I can sincerely say Menace II Society changed my life
Do u not have a mum and pop?
Mence To Society Thought Me That Moving To Atlanta Should Be A Nigga Next STep
I really enjoyed this interview! Thank you guys!
He did an AWESOME job with the documentary!!! The best Tupac documentary out there and believe me I've seen them all.
Dead Presidents is a masters class in filmmaking, storytelling and acting. The Hughes Brothers are OUR Scorcese. But better to me. I love MENACE II SOCIETY. It's brilliant. But Dead Presidents should be talked about more. It has so many deep concepts and themes surrounding the Foundational Black American experience. Each one of those themes and concepts could be complete films on their own. Incredible work.
Happy belated birthday Mr. Hughes and your twin brother too! Excellent legacy y'all have created 💯🤎💪🏽✊🏽
I’ll admit this is the first time somebody offered an alternative perspective of Tupac for me. And I believe it. I actually believe Pac was a socially militant theatre kid that played out his life as one big "movie". It explains the complexity and animated life he lived. People like 2Pac only exist in movies…
You have to note that 2pac thought he was helping. He spoke about meeting people where they where at. He wanted to help the hood, he got in the hood. It's like a cop going undercover, and infiltrating an organization. but like those cops who go under for years and years they can get in to deep. I think if he wasn't wih Suge/Death Row he would've moved on from that life but like Caine in Menace to Society...it was too late
I always tell my little brother's no rapper compares to 2pac, he passed away in his mid 20s with so many legendary songs that, Nas, jayz and many in thier 50s couldn't accomplish, tupac was for the struggle, Dear mama, changes, unborn child, brenda, starring through my rearview, ghetto gospel, and so many that bumps through stereos across the globe to this day whilst making movies and endless lawsuits all in his early 20s....our prophet's come in so many ways and pac was strictly hiphops 👑
He was decent
Dead presidents is the greatest movie ever. One of the movies that shows you how it is in the war and what you come home to. Crazy part it’s still like that now vets aren’t respected enough
I enjoyed this a lot bro.
Such great movies... for some reason that final scene in Dead Presidents, when Larenz Tate is sitting on the bus going to prison....he said no words just facial expression of regret. Brilliant. Great interview!
I never saw that movie, is it worth seeing honestly??? Not even being funny

Menace was too real to me. I could never watch that movie after the first time. It reminded me of people I actually knew. That's when drive bys were starting 😢 That movie still breaks my heart today

I wonder if Latasha Harlins murder is the reason they did that first scene in Menace II Society
I think it definitely had an influence
Wow Breakfast Club finally came through with a 🔥interview !!!
This was a great interview. Now I gotta go binge all of Daz's interviews. I loved how this interview was fun & it flowed. No commercials, no dry air. Cause if it wS Drink Champs. There would have been too many unnecessary interruptions
Best Tupac documentary ever produced! I was skeptical but they did an amazing job. Congrats and thank you! Respect!

Dear Mama is another awesome docuseries. Love every single episode.
I don't think noooooobody could have told this story like this man did. He had to go inside his soul to pull this off . So many tears.....Man
Such a good interview!!
Dope convo
This is a great interview. 🔥
Tupac is the greatest realest contemporary philosopher for the hood and ghettos around the world rapper of All Time. He was before his time.
Dear Mama is a fantastic documentary!!! Heartbreakingly epic, captured both their essence.
Great interview!!!
Much respect for what he’s done with the Dear Mama Documentary!
Dope interview, especially the stuff about black cinema at the end
Excellent interview ❤
Man great interview!!!
This was very good
Dope Interview
Can’t wait to see this series.
I enjoyed this
Tupac wanted the Hughes brothers to show why the Muslim brother was the way he was. He wanted them to show Sharif before he changed his life and converted to Islam. He wanted a wider perspective into the history of his character Sharif that’s all. Tupac was a Sharif at heart and a Bishop because that’s what society made him to be, but he dipped out and got out the mix! Speak the truth please!
Sharif was a knucklehead in boyz n the hood and turned his life around in Menace.
Respect. That Brenda’s got a Baby video is powerful.
Had no idea that The Hughes Bros were from the D! Great interview! “Dead Presidents” is a classic! I learned about the Vietnam War from that movie. My Uncle was in the war and my mom told me that it forever changed him when he came home and he wasn’t supposed to get drafted (being the oldest and only son in the family)…salute to the Hughes Bros
The fact that he told the panther story so intricately inside the shakur story was truly amazing. No one could of done it better. The documentary broke my heart learning the extent the goberment went to suppress the black messiah smdh
This is a great interview.
I understood everything Allen Hughes said about Dead Presidents. And it’s good reflection on his part. Dead Presidents beautifully captured that tough 60s period whereas a lot of movies miss the mark on clothing, hair, cinematic color, etc. It was difficult to watch because there was absolutely NO vengeance for Anthony. I think it’s fine to end movies in that way from time to time because it is a fact of life. We had to sit with a hard truth for him.
I cant wait to see it.
Long time no see, glad him and his brother is doing great.
Best interview ever!
I was skeptical about seeing the Dear Mama series but now I’m check it out after hearing his perspective
Pac didn’t fukk with this guy, im not sure who gave him the okay. Pac hated this guy
It’s Awesome my Brother please check it out!!!
I love Tupac he did a amazing job with this story. Thank you Allen Hughes for bringing Tupac and Afeni story to life. Plus if Tupac was here I believe he would have moved on from this.
Thank you Mr. Hughes, I personally enjoyed Dear Mama learned, cried, smile . RIP MRS. AFENI AND TUPAC😢😢😢❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ .TUPAC GREATEST OF ALL TIME.

I am tuning in to that Docu-Series..
Good interview, top 5 for year ‘23
Great interview that I didn’t even plan on watching. That bigen shit took me out towards the end tho 😭😭💀💀
"Tupac is a performance artist" is the most accurate and concise description of him that I've heard...*in media. People seem to think that detracts from his legacy but it is what it is.
He was indeed NOT a great rapper. But his image and legacy towers over many of the greatest to ever do it.
His songs and albums went platinum and number 1 while he was alive is all i got to say
Who was story telling in rap before pac? He and biggie changed the game..
Thanks Allen, you’re a real one. 2pac continue to rest on!
"Shareef" was also in Boyz N The Hood, playing the guy who took Ricky's football
That tongue kiss part.... I'm dead💀☠️
He did a great job with Dear Mama, I learned so much
Allen Hughes is always dope in interviews.
Pac never liked this cward do ya even know this🤔🤔
One of my favorite director's of all time.
PAC is and will FOREVER be the biggest thing to grace HIP-HOP. An intellectual young black man from a broken home with dreams of Black Unity, the heart of a lion, ultimate talent all while trying to find himself in different facets of the culture. My man was never a punk but was always sensitive enough to care about you. Ridiculous work ethic, hustle, charisma, conviction and character UNMATCHED. Once they shot em in 94, they got em started down the Art Of War path and I wish that never happened, but it did. Love this brother. NY born, Bay Area raised, LA concluded…ALL before 25 years of age. #LONGLIVE2PAC

Menace to Society Is officially 30 years old now in 2023. Incredible. I never forget seeing it in the theater at Green acres in NY. Nothing like the 90s
Yup. I’m surprised there not doing a social edition doc on it with the unedited version or something.

Dead Prez is a classic, one of my favorites. Its interesting to see & hear his opinion on his work.
