I always always loved Meth!!!🥰 So humble who would have known he was going to be an awesome actor coming from being a great rapper. The 80’s and the 90’s was thee best era of music🙌🏾
Method Man is one of the most lyrically feared MCs ever. I remember a line he said from the first time I heard him, he "Feard like decepticons" everything before and after that was dope I just remember hearing him rap made me sleep wit the radio next to my head all night so that I could hear some dope. Anybody else see a R Kelly resemblance goin on? Ion know if its the beard hat nd glasses or these dudes really favor like that
My brother in law played for the Jets many years ago. My sister (we're from the Coastal Bend South Texas) beach girls. When she moved to NY....she introduced me to the Wu Tang Clan...and I was hooked...this was in the late 90's/early 2000, it's been a while...I was hooked from then til now...this is a wonderful interview. Same time, introduced to Redman...Jesus Christ...this whole vibe is GOATs second to none🥰😇
Methoddddd mannnnnnnnnn Is literally what I said out loud when I saw the video. So happy to see this dude. I was watching pass the mic over and over yesterday, the one that starts with him and Redman.
I love in the beginning, he sits back and his level is now low. I'm thinking, someone has to tell him to get closer to the mic......but then I'm like: I'm not telling Meth what to do....I'll just turn his level up and that's what happen. love it.
I felt that whole conversation as a old head at 37 years old when meth said about mixing real r&b with hip hop/rap . You don't really hear that authentic r&b sound anymore mixed with hip hop/rap like you used to back in the day . Now it's more autotuned. It was more authentic back then .
My boyfriend just seen him casually walking out of cvs the other day.. he lucky I was sitting in the car cause I would’ve shot my shot.. he would’ve been mad at me ! Fine ass man
"The struggle goes on, you've been warned, P.L.O. from here to Lebanon. How many bombs must we drop in the 90's now, walk a mile in my shoes, and get the street news, from Meth-ical". Only real Gs know whats up. Peace to the Legend

That's definitely too and that's the same thing that I be telling people all the time I was just telling my girlfriend this the other day or last week.
Yup, you get weaker as you age and you combat that with resistance training and you age slower with a balanced diet and not processed junk oh and wear sunscreen! haha
Meth was the first and only person on earth to kick me out of a party! Lol …He was a protector and gentleman while doing it! Love him for that… a real man!❤
@@lp6314 Yes, long story made short…after being at the party and not partaking in the “festivities” Meth was humble and told me that the party wasn’t for me … instead of telling me to flat out leave he took out time from the party to walk me out to my car and waited until I drove off like a perfect gentleman. This was in the early 2000s.
I’ve never heard a wu tang song and barely know who this man is. But it’s still interesting to hear him talk and his cadence. And I can already feel he’s had an astronomical impact on the music I listen to
I'm happy you give respect to those that influenced the music you listen too. That is def missing today, I notice ppl saying they don't care or they old. Anyone you love to listen to was influenced by someone.

Uncle Meth! 😎 I gotta call him Unc because I was too young for Wu Tang Clan, I don’t remember much Wu except the song with Mary J. Preciate the Texas shout out RIP Pimp C. 🫡
Speaking of the Wu Tang series. Only issues I had with Dave East playing Mef, is that he was always so serious. Watch any Method Man interview, video, or listen to his music. He is silly af lol They didn't ever show that side of him.

I see this man at the gym literally every week. I’m too timid to go up and speak to him but bro is a whole unit in person. Tall asf.
Been a Wu fan since 93.
Love seeing Meth happy, healthy and continuing his success. Easily one of the best flows, voice and pen in the game.
Forever
I always respect when a person can admit when they are wrong...many people cannot do that.

35:10 yeah I agree with him I don't understand why Ashton made RZA sound like that... I thought DMX was part of Wu-Tang for a minute
Stranded on Death Row is a classic all of them put it down

Meth: “No.”
