Is it possible to use a torch in some way rather than a kiln for this?

Yes, there are some fine silver clays that can be torch fired. We would recommend Phoenix Torch Fireable Clay: cooltools.us/collections/phoenix-torch-fireable-clay%E2%84%A2
      Hope this helps!

Karen, can you flush set larger stones in PMC like a 6 or 8 mm?

      Hi Jannifer,
While you could, the clay would need to be thicker than the stone is tall, which could make for some pretty thick pieces. Depending on what you are making, it might be better to set the stone another way if you want it to be that large.

    Thanks for the video!
Would this work as well on a fine silver clay, or would the shrinkage rate mess it up too badly?

Hello, you can certainly use this technique in fine silver clay. Thanks for watching!

Which kind of tumbler did you use? Rotary or magnetic to get the pendant to shine?

Hi Charlie, we use a rotary tumbler. You can find it here: www.cooltools.us/Lortone-3lb-Rotary-Tumbler-USA-p/brn-401.htm
      Thanks for watching!
