Thanks! I had a heck of a time figuring out how to program my RD-5R and this actually helped me figure out why there were only "Digital Contacts" in the RT-84 and no place to put Analog contacts.

Try to install the CPS not in the Program Files-Folder, use the recommended folder. I first changed it to "c:\windows\program files" and got the same problem. They dissappeared, when i reinstalled it in the folder which was suggested by the install routine.
Hi Matthew. Do you have a codeplug for this with the relevant settings for uk repeaters etc? I'm very new to dmr I have the rt84 on its way. I also have a baofeng dm-1702 which I'm in the process of setting up with the repeaters etc.. I can't find a decent codeplug for the baofeng dm-1702. Any help would be appreciated. Matt M0REM.
Hi mate have you programmed this radio with the supplied cable? iT dont appear as a Com port as all my other stuff. Got mine today and cant get software to look at the radio any idea's? Thanks Bill
Have you tried a differant pc mate? could be antivirus blocking it maybe? Retevis have a great support group on facebook that may be able to give more detailed help.. hope you get it sorted bud :)
This is a garbage radio. The engineering is so bad, the volume button and channel button tough each other. When I saw this, Retevis actually send me another with the same problem. Stick to the RT3S if you want a cheap radio.

How many channels can be put in a zone? Some new radios allow more than 16 channels per zone.

Managed it (TG 9990), but I have such a shriek on it, it is like listening to a real parrot. LOL.
