I am so glad that you are able to rest at home for a couple of weeks. Thank you for introducing me to your cricut machine. I had never heard of it before. It's amazing what it can do. Your pasta dinner looks amazing. I have read Twilght and all the other books. I highly recommend you read them all. I also noticed that you were wearing a Brock University T-shirt. My hubby Mark grew up in St. Catharines. He went to Brock for teacher's college many years ago. We were in St. Catharines a couple of weeks ago. We went by Mark's house that he grew up in and then we went to Port Dalhousie and then the Pen Centre. I love going to St. Catharines. But my favorite is the Avondale Dairy Bar!! The best ice cream ever!! I love the slower pace and the small town feel. You are a champion in my eyes and if you ever want to talk just reach out to me I'll be there. Hi! We can do this! I am exhausted from the week in the hospital for the blood clot. I had to wait 30 hours in the ER for a hospital bed. But I am on the mend now! Next chemo is tomorrow. I am sorry about your chemo program change, it must be disappointing when you had a time to be finished already in mind. But we have to trust those who are taking care of us. I get my chemo,changed this week too due to the neuropathy in my feet….so I am a bit apprehensive for a change of chemotherapy wondering what side effects this will bring….but I am so grateful for their care and we both know this is only temporary and will end! Coveting your cookies! Lol! Too pretty to eat! Hang in there and enjoy your time before it starts up again! Take care and have a good cry if you need it!

I'm sorry you have to do so much chemo. Good though to do the recommended now so you can hopefully have freedom from it all later. My treatment plan also changed after radiation and it threw me too. Love to you.

I would say a combination of being on steroids and not being as active because of the overwhelming fatigue from chemo and radiation. For each cancer it is different but those are the two areas that I suspect why I have gained weight. I also have been fortunate to have an appetite through treatment, only a few times I hardly eat anything after my treatment so that can cause weight loss as well as if the cancer is in an area where it impact your ability to get proper nutrition
