Decided to check out The Traitors Australia S2 but it's a lot messier than I expected!

Funny you mention this--- in another country (US?) there was a "professional clairvoyant" who got EVERY VOTE WRONG. She then took *herself* out of the game. Guess it was bad for business!
The fact she called herself a clinical psychotherapist says a lot (trying hard to sound like a Clinical Psychologist, which is difficult to be). People with her qualifications just call themselves a counsellor. I know because I am doing the exact same course she did, through the same uni. In the course she would have to had shown critical thought, unsure how she passed, considering she demonstrated no critical thought at all on the show. Did not even pick up on repetitive behavioural patterns. It is actually really concerning she has the highest level of accreditation. Luckily there is currently a National Standard review that will create more accountability on counsellors, due to be completed in 2025.
The dummies made this a painful watch, it became clear there was nobody to root for near the end.

Sam would have never made it to the end in any other season in any country. He lucked into the finale by having having so many clueless faithfuls. Honestly I would have put most of your Got Lucky's and Did Pretty Wells in the poor player category. Lastly, all Blake and Camille had to do to split the money was vote out Sam at the firepit finale. The fact that no one won the money was appropriate for this season.
I think they would have tried if they had any confidence Sarah would reliably vote for Sam. Without that it could turn into a messy shootout
After the last faithful, there is no longer an option to vote out a Traitor...
In one of her videos, Camille made a good point that figuring out the traitors and telling everyone doesn't actually make you a good faithful, even if it shows you have good intuition. The faithful still need to survive, especially given that they are always going to add more traitors if necessary to keep the game going. The tricky thing about the show is both figuring out the truth while also biding your time
Honestly, I’m amazed my TV is still intact after this series. It’s a shame because it’s a great show, but it felt as if it went wrong. Maybe a murder in plain sight challenge or something could have helped. Or ensuring Sam didn’t get the shield when he needed to recruit.
The amount of times I wanted to scream at the TV... From the moment Annabel was banished, it was just downhill from there...
The end though, when Camile voted to Steal!! That made it worth it... Sam was pissed, and I was living for it!

I get the feeling that Roger is team faithful as he's always making comments that try to get the faithfuls to do some critical thinking. Claudia is definitely team traitor, she's so cheeky and makes supportive comments to the traitors when they're starting to feel the pressure emotionally. As for Alan, he just doesn't like useless faithfuls, he could care less which team is winning.

Of all the Traitors i watched this was the most frustrating sets of faithfuls i ever watched... Bar Annabelle and Luke. The rest jas no cop on. I liked Sam in the first few episodes till i started to realise he has no remorse in all the things he's done. It makes him look like a narcissist . He could easily turn the table around the person questioning him. Camille was the saving grace in the finale making them get nothing at all. Sam's heart sank and dare he say those stuff to Camille with her being rich. Eh what about him? He's loaded as well just saying. Over all i liked the finale!
Roger said so many clues in what he said to the faithfuls he said both faithfuls are left or something which should of made the last two realised that there was two of them left! The whole season 2 was horrendously frustrating! Sam didn’t just play the game.. that’s him for real. He showed so many narcissistic traits and it continued once the game was over. I felt so sorry for Blake.
The fact that Rodger kept dropping SO MANY HINTS made me chuckle because no one picked up on them...
Sarah was the biggest muppet on the show 🤦🏼♂️. That’s saying something because these faithful were the biggest bag of doughnuts I’ve ever seen. She would walk into every banishment like “I was 90% sure it was Sam, but I believe you now sam” and do that ish over and over and over again 🤦🏼♂️ she was insufferable and I was so glad she came off as such a doofus because she didn’t deserve any money. Neither did the final traitors btw. Nobody thought Sam was gonna share, so at that point it was either let him take the W or nobody wins. Either way you’re not getting money so F Sam too!
I think Camille kept him around JUST to crush his dreams ahaha! I like to think that was the case at least!

Sam played like Christian in the US series and that behaviour got him banished. It was frustrating seeing Sam getting away with it each round table.
Christian was so much more palatable though...
Talk about a shitshow for the faithfuls lmao, only Annabelle and Luke made this watchable from their side (I have not seen the final episode yet but couldn't resist clicking the vid!)

Luke and Annabelle are in Legendary, Camille, Blake and Gloria in Did Pretty Well.
Hannah was terrible, still wanted to vote Luke when he'd been murdered, she goes in poor player with Sarah, Liam and Keith. Gytan joins the three you have in Not Enough Time and the rest go in Got Lucky/Meh.
I don't agree with Blake. He did pretty poor. His big flaw was not pushing to get out Sam. Had so many chances and because of that he lost money. I wouldn't put that on Camille though since she got converted late.
I watched the UK, Canadian, and US versions and this cast of faithfuls was by far the worst. 😑 Not only were Annabel and Luke right, but they were right for the right reasons! Sam's approach to being a traitor was childish and arrogant. He wouldn't have lasted in any other season. I still like this season of Traitors but it was like watching a train wreck. I also agree that Blake's game was good, although, the edits showed more of Sam. Blake's game was probably more difficult because of Sam, but good on him for making it so far.

Just finished watching this season and in my opinion these Faithfuls and Traitors (Except for Camille, Luke and Annabelle) were the dumbest. Idk maybe because I watched The Traitors NZ first before watching this season. The Faithfuls and Traitors were so smart. Sam just got lucky cuz the Faithfuls here were dumb.

You should make the got lucky category into “got lucky/unlucky”. It’s the same idea it’s just the people who go home early because for no particular reason

I agree with most of your takes the only part I have an issue with is Blake. He does not deserve to be in Strong Game, definitely did pretty well. He was suspected very early on, allowed himself to be manipulated by one of the worst traitors in the history of the game and if he had any kind of personality or power of persuasion he absolutely should have got rid of Sam the snake very early on. If he did that I would say he deserved Strong Game but sadly he was a 'meh' player at best.
In any other season of the traitors both of those guys would have been gone by the 4th/5th round table.

It was actually quite disturbing how many faithful completely fell for Sam’s gaslighting techniques once he was being accused by the smart faithfuls Annabelle & Luke who were completely right about Sam & Blake.
Sarah was the dumbest of the lot. A ready pawn throughout who fell for the manipulation constantly that it was painful to watch her supporting Sam.
Liam was the guileless ally to Sam who only woke up the end.
But worst of all was undercover cop Keith whose tactics in voting off anyone who accused Sam was beyond reason. Annabelle had far more intuition than him and Luke too but even when both were vindicated as Faithfuls and Sam, the “traitor hunter” never getting murdered raised not a single suspicion to Keith.
Very disturbing how supposedly intelligent people can be swayed by narcissists such as Sam.
Delightful rant! Just please convince those in power to follow up with a Season 3. This season was so incredible (and unpredictably dumb) that it's my favorite Traitor series of them all.
No way is this your favourite... Surely you're joking ahaha! But I'll send some strongly worded emails to Australia to get them to sort themselves out!

Ugh I disagree with Camille being legendary. I thought she played awful and didn’t even try to vote Sam out once she was a traitor.
I think it's hard to vote against a fellow traitor when you know you don't have the support of enough people to get rid of them. We saw how awkward it was when Blake tried to get rid of Sam, but failed, so I guess she wanted to avoid that.
She should have tried though, it comes to a point where you have nothing to lose. I noticed they tend to get swept up in an element of the game like Jaz in the uk. He played amazingly but should have given much much stronger fight at the final scene, but kept playing his tactics although it was time to stop.

Hannah was poor player. Her final scene revelation was as successful as Liam. Both were very poor.

I never liked Hannah. And her stupid gaze didn't make it any better. She had that look like she knew a lot but in reality was braindead.

I'm in the UK and just watched this series. I have to say the Aussie series have been the best, better than the UK and much better than the US which I didn't like at all.
I just can't believe how useless the remaining faithfuls were after the banishment of Annabel and murder of Luke. They honestly deserved nothing! Hannah was beyond useless, the voting off of Annabel and then hair-brained theory at breakfast that Luke was the traitor because he wanted to recruit Annabel was so hilarious. I know watching as viewers it's easy, but seriously, Sam was so obviously a traitor it was painful. Liam and Sarah were also useless, but at least Liam redeemed himself slightly by eventually realising he was being manipulated by Sam, so Sarah takes the crown as the most useless faithful in history

I'd say that Kieth was worse/dumber than Liam. Sure it was way too late but Liam eventually worked out that Sam was a traitor while Kieth was almost as clueless as Sarah to the bitter end
You might have a point there... But the reason Liam was lower was because he trusted Sam FAR TOO MUCH when he had no reason too
Annabel was legendary. My favorite player yet. Totally agree. Wish she lasted longer. Luke too. But bias as a Survivor fan. :)
Just watched Australia Season 2 and waiting for the other episodes of NZ to be added to Peacock. Still can't get over Sarah's comment at the end that she was proud of herself for making it that far. Clueless to the end.
Must admit i had a soft spot for Luke from watching him in survivor. I think though being in survivor a game all about blindsides did go agsisnt other faithfuls trusting him.
Do agre with thr legendaries though the whole show annoyed me with how stupid the fairhfuls were and pretty much highlighted why traitors uknis superior

I've watched a lot of Traders seasons and initially thought Sam was playing a great game, even though he was an arsehole but then I thought, "how would Sam have done in any other Traders?"... he wouldn't have lasted for long. As for Gloria, you're VERY generous. She was like watching a cat playing checkers. She batted at a few pieces but NEVER had a clue!
Yeah, Sam only did well on this season because the other faithful were AWFUL! On any other season, he'd have been out episode 4/5
These takes are so correct I'ma have to start call you brother 😆 like when it comes to Ash, I was definitely watching the same show that you were. Very unfortunate for her. And the banishment of Annabel was just tragic. A couple observations to add (I'm only at 10:19): What annoys me about this cast of players were how fickle they were. It was wild how they could not coalesce before the round table, and actually stick to a decision. Like the power of words was something when Simone spoke for herself and Keith goes "I think it's weird you played it that way" (or whatever) and the most obvious traitor survives another round. Which leads me to this weird observation: This cast was also very phobic of strong personalities. Pretty much, if you were an initiator of any kind of plan, you were getting banished by your own faithfuls. Very strange. Like I feel like Hannah was just salty because Annabel had more conviction than her. And last thing, Sam would've NEVER lasted as long in other versions of the traitor or even S1. (End rant 😫)
Well that certainly was a rant, but you're on the right channel for it! I've had time to reflect on this series, and I genuinely do believe that the downfall of this series rested on four people: Keith, Sam, Sarah and Liam. Everyone else had some kind of a clue at some point, and when they spoke out, they were banished or murdered... Those four really held the game hostage and made it a predictable mess...
Just finished The Traitors AU season 2 and this season was a mess to say the least. Only the ending made it worth watching 9+ frustrating hours of people being highly gullible and poor game players. I would change these ranking around a bit and have the Not Enough Timers below the poor players. Poor player or not, I think they had more impact than those who really weren’t around enough. Would love to see you rank the seasons of the show with every franchise that you’ve seen.
Ranking the series is definitely on my to do list - gonna watch a few more seasons first though! At least all the english speaking ones. The reason Poor Player is below Not Enough Time is because "Poor Player" is a shameful place ahaha! LITERALLY bottom
I enjoyed this season though it was a total train wreck. I think I detected a sense of frustration from the host Rodger as each banishment showed dumb and dumber Faithfuls. He definitely started to throw bread crumbs in his lead-in comments to banishment's. I agree with most of your rankings, especially Luke and Annabelle. Camille, though I enjoyed after she became a traitor, was not that good and, indeed, had a hand in some of the dumber banishment's. It took something like a sledgehammer to her head to make her see the light after Annabelle was banished and Luke murdered. By the way, she was also a Federal Agent for 17 years.
I would have put Camille and Blake a lower position each because they really should have worked out that Sam couldnt be trusted and should have got him banned ASAP.
Apparently, on a podcast, Camille said the real reason they didn't end up getting rid of Sam earlier was because they thought he would end up exposing the other traitors on his way out, essentially destroying the game...
i feel like the only person i would change is gloria because she knew it was blake for ages so she should be in strong game
I didn't put her in Strong Game because she never came with any conviction. It always felt like she just randomly voted for Blake after arguing that it could be other people. But she did have a strong second half, I'll give you that!

The first season of uk was amazing, the second season of uk was amazing, the Australian first season was great, and the first season of us was decent.

I found Angus disgusting. If you're going to have long hair like that at least wash it or even just brush it. Every time the camera went on him I yelled brush your hair! Seriously I don't think it ever saw a brush. And then when he almost drowns Nigel that was disgusting and made me like him even less. I didn't understand the other contestants liking him and calling him a big Teddy bear. There was just something off about him if I met him in real life I wouldn't trust him.

Sam dominated the game. So he didn't get lucky. And Blake was useless,he was never going to win the money with Sam in the game he should of backstabbed him.
Don’t get me wrong, I hated sam for being so arrogant but putting him below dummy players is so wrong…. Those three traitors did better than every single faithfuls…. Your ranking is mostly based on your personal likings….
Sam played the game so poorly that he was exposed in episode 4. I'm not giving him bonus points for how dumb the faithful were for not voting him out. Also, it's hard to compare how well a Traitor plays the game VS how well a Faithful plays the game because one has a significantly EASIER job

But was that his great gameplay or everyone being ridiculously stupid. Because even his shield play was exposed that same day by Hannah - The object of the game is to keep the identity hidden and after Annabel exposed him, every player believed he was a traitor at one point and the fact he made it to the end was purely luck because the faithful never united on the one person that was CLEARLY a traitor. @@lmss3309

I think it is NOT Sam. I say this because of what he did in China. Sam would be a perfect target that everyone would blame, when in (supposed) fact the traitor would get away with the perfect crime. I have three people I would choose. One was foreign, or looked as if that person was born overseas, another (in my own personal opinion) had betrayed Australia, right in front of our own faces; + the third lied to all Australians + still hasn't been dragged up on it. I believe that the third one was very, very sneaky (like traitors need to be) to get away for stea😊ling from the Australian people. I believe that the second + third ones were so full of themselves that they could get away with anything and Sam D. Could be their perfect fall guy, which I believe is happening now. I do wonder why ASIO suddenly came out with this information just when a certain politician quit politics. I only know of one that left, but I'm sure other politicians might leave every few weeks. Has a deal been made that would make the traitor the next PM?
These are just my own personal thoughts. Maybe they are all wrong.
I would very much like my second person to be wiped out history books because I feel that he had put himself first without even consulting the Australian + not even consulting Parliament. Doesn't that come under treason, does anyone know?? I think that not saying who it is will punish all politicians who truly hold up Australia in true loyalty + in their hearts + that is plainly unfair to all politicians. I'm sure the country involved will see Australia as weak + opens the door for more traitors because Australia will only protect traitors. Thank you

Sam was "got lucky" because in any other season, he would have been taken out very early. Sam was an absolutely terrible player. Taking out Ash like that was a really stupid decision.
