A lot of people seem to be confused at the Naruto getting stronger being able to negate the effects of the rasenshuriken. I don't care what you interpretation of it is databook 4 says he got a tougher body to overcome the weakness. Yes he did ALSO learn how to throw it but like Pa says Sage Mode toughens up your body like when Naruto was gonna fall on the spike in base and Pa saved him but the. He just fell in Sage Mode and was completely fine. Sage Mode just negates the needles getting into his arm by toughening his skin to an insane degree.
People don't understand because for some reason everyone forgets that Sage Mode causes body activation, allowing the user to heal rapidly, and recover. If you look you'd notice that Naruto doesn't use Rasenshrikan without either tailed beast power or sage power backing it, because it would still have the same effect on him if he did.

Whoever told you that lied, or was terribly mislead. alive itachi suffered from an inhibiting illness and near blindness, none of which edo itachi suffers from. hence why he can perform better feats, on a stronger version of pain, as stated by Naruto. He’s also able to perform alongside a massively stronger naruto and bee, so it’s pretty obvious regardless.
Nagato died to a talk no jutsu. Minato on the other hand was smart enough to dodge it permanently before Naruto could even talk. So Minato wins by superior brain power.
It's funny because Minato considers the Rasengan a unfinished Jutsu, because he intentionally intended to add elemental chakra to the Jutsu because he has lightning, fire, and wind nature transformations, but he couldn't because the Jutsu already required so much concentration for shape manipulation, via mastering your chakra to rotate in a orb. Even without the nature transformation, the justsu was still deemed a A Class Ninjutsu. Man is just insane, I hope they annouce a Minato Prequel series, I heard their doing a Naruto related annoucement on December 17th.

Kakashi was saying the intention of the Jutsu was to add a nature transformation, but Minato failed to do this.

Some people reaaaally overestimate Pain. Yes, he is an extremely powerful Kage-level opponent, but Minato just isn't a fair fight for Pain's powerset. Minato's only real weakness could be argued would be his sorta platued power, but with his feat against partial transformed Killer B + One-jutsu Sage Mode I think he'd be fine.

I've been saying this for years, if Minato hadn't sacrificed himself and survived the kyuubi attackthere wouldn't be a naruto series. Obito is screwed full stop, he got marked and as soon as he left the kamui dimension Minato would know and could blit him from anywhere in the elemental nations at any time. The Uchiha masacre defiantly wouldn't have happened since Minato could've explained what happened, wouldn't be controlled be controlled by danzou and probably have a good personal relationship with the uchiha. You can tell who clearly didn't watch the show or read the manga with their eyes open. Minato reacted fast enough to teleport away from obitos kamui that WAS ALREADY AFFECTING HIM. He was quick enough to blitz Obito before he could reactivate kamui(something which only takes a second, way shorter than shinra tensei's cool down) He was known far and wide as the fastest ninja point blank before Naruto took that title and people are really trying to act like pain could keep up with his speed??? Huh???
I was rewatching Obito VS Minato and I have one question. What if Kakashi was at the site of Kushina’s birth like the other ambu. I don’t except it to make a massive difference, but surely Obito would spend extra time on Kakashi simply because he has history with him. If he did spend even seconds longer than Minato should’ve been able to seal the 9 tails back making it a lot harder for Obito to break it. From that point it’s possible Minato would drop Naruto off and get back just in time to stop Obito from fully releasing Kurama.

Minato has the ability to teleport anyone he touches. Nagato needs to be closer to his paths to control them, so minato can basically delete any path he makes contact with and can just teleport to wait out cooldown on shinra tensei or chibaku tensei. He's definitely fast enough to make contact with them, maybe set seals on all of them before they know his plan to pick them off. Nagato might need to set up multiple hostage situations at once to even have a chance. No shot Nagato can beat Minato.
A note about the the rasengan stuff you talked about around 7:30. The reason the rasenshuriken initially damaged Naruto is because of its wind nature, and he overcame the issue not by increasing his durability but instead by learning to throw it, with him only being able to safely use it point blank in kcm as far as I know. Minato never got the chance to incorporate elemental chakra into the rasengan, but if did learn or invent the rasenshuriken himself he probably would have suffered the same side effects unless he learned a work around like Naruto did. Maybe teleporting it right on top of the enemy? Regardless, using the rasenshuriken’s backlash as a way of measuring Naruto’s growth in comparison to Minato doesn’t really work because the base rasengan that Minato invented and used had no actual backlash regardless of the users durability. The fact that Naruto invented the rasenshuriken could be used to compare them, as Minato never figured out how to incorporate change in chakra nature. But it could be argued that Naruto only pulled it off because of the nine tails and Yamato allowing him to throw shadow clones at the problem. Really like your video so far keep up the good work. I’ve seen a lot of people downplay Minato so I always like to see content creators talking about him.
Naruto can use Rasenshuriken with Sage mode. When he was learning the advantages of incorporating nature energy into his kit he even said something along the lines of "I might even be able to use that Jutsu" then he pulls it out in the fight against Pain. If I'm not mistaken it was mostly the boost in regenerative capabilities that allowed him to use it freely vs just throwing it. That and the fact that the Jutsu fell victim to the whole the first time you see it, it will be the most powerful concept as it basically ripped his opponents apart. The second he was able to spam it the power and effect were effectively reduced

This was an is a major difference in this technique !! An i dont think anybody ever realize this .
Now that you mention it, Minato and Pain should be almost analogous in-universe. Both were seen as saviors inside their respective villages and both were seen as the monsters leading an imperialist agenda outside their villages. Kind of weird to think about.
Itachi beats Minato alone too. Pein would just nerf him, because Itachi would have to babysit him all the time. Pein absolutely doesn't scale to Minato and Itachi in speed, while they scale to each other. Yes, Minato is around KCM1 Naruto level in speed, which is where Itachi is too. So they're relative. And then I don't think Minato has anything against genjutsu, tbh. I don't see why he wouldn't just lose the way Orochimaru lost to Itachi. You could say Minato has yin release and huge chakra reserves and perfect chakra control, etc., but you can say the same for Orochimaru too who still got negged by 15 years old 3 tomoe Sharingan Itachi. So I just don't see Minato resisting a Mangekyou genjutsu from Itachi, I'm sorry.

i know Six briefly mentioned this in the video but i dont often hear people mention the fact that Minato can mark literally anything he touches animate or inanimate. so his opponents destroying the kunais he throws in to the battle field wouldnt be detrimental to Minato unless hes stupid which we know he isnt. Realistically wouldnt he throw kunais for nothing but as a distraction and actually teleport to the marking he imprints on the environment during the battle itself. We've already seen this happen in the 3rd great war when he faced against A and Killer Bee. A was expecting Minato to teleport to one of the Kunais he threw but Minato instead teleported to the mark he placed on Bee. People always talk about how if minato fights itachi or Sasuke (who can use Aamaterasu) theyd just burn the kunais minato throws in to the battle field, or in Minato vs Pain, that pain can almighty pull or push the kunais, like OK?? that wouldnt be detrimental to Minato in any way..
Using almighty push on just the Kunai wouldn't work in the first place because of the cooldown. Pain would need 5 seconds before he can use it again and that's plenty of time for someone as fast as Minato to attack even without teleportation. Normally it's so effective because people would need to recover from the attack then retaliate but if Pain used it against a flying Kunai there's no need for Minato to recover from anything
Just a little thing I thought of regarding the reaper death seal. Who ever was the first one to do this must have had one scary ass experience. Imagine you’re in the lab trying to make a jutsu then BOOM you summon the reaper and he kills you.
The only thing I feel in general people miss or forget about Pain/Alive Nagato is he damn near sealed Naruto in 6tails and thought he could do 8 AFTER destroying the village with ANOTHER jutsu his GF said would kill him if he used. No fatigue Pain/Nagato is too slow to hit lots of characters but with Deva path bullshit and clever tactics he can take a lot of fights vs War Arc protagonists

So pain beat Hanzo who solos the three Sanins. He rolls up in the leaf and mops the floor with the whole village. He then destroys the whole village. Then he fights a perfect sage. Then he fights a tailed beast. Then he makes a mini moon. Then he revives the entire village he just massacred. This dude casually captured a jinjuriki without a scratch. He could summon the gedo statue. This man caused an endless rainfall over a village. Minato is my favorite character ever. But flying thunder God against pain and his black rods is a terrible idea. Naguto can pull and repel. Pain was a hard counter to Minato in every way. He tries to come close repel, he tries to retreat you can pull him in with endless black rods. Also to destroy 1 planetary devastation core it took a tailed beast bomb, rasenshuriken and a Susan’s attack. Even if you say Minato leaves the battle field, Naguto simply stops using his power until he returns the same as the Sasuke vs Danzo reasoning. I’m not saying Minato loses, but bro you made Naguto look like Minato was casually wiping his ass with rinnegan users everyday.

considering that this is a versus battle and not Kishimato's narrative, is there are a reason why we should limit the flying raijin to what was shown in the manga/anime? i dont mean giving the jutsu head canon abilities. But using the canon features of the jutsu in ways that wasnt shown in the canon. for example Minato can teleport people/things he touch to the marking as shown in the manga/anime (with him at the same time or just the target). so why cant he use that offensively even though in the manga/anime he didnt. For example teleporting his opponents to marked kunais (or anything with a mark) buried deep under ground, or dropped in deep ocean. Which character is surviving getting instantly teleported to the bottom of the Mariana trench (for reference, im not saying the naruto verse have a Mariana trench lol).Not even prime alive Madara can survive the water pressure (8 tones per square inch) even if he can pull out the susano some how considering Tsunade was able to crack/ break it. i dunno about u but i dont think this breaks the canon. Plus he also has the option to mark his opps and leave the battle field to safety and assassinate the marked characters later. Or like teleport paper bombs or poison bombs and other dangerous shit to the marked opps form the safety and comfort of his home or safehouse or something and do it until his opss dies lol
The only thing is there is a lot of people who are faster that Minato in terms of reaction speed, yes FTG is instantaneous but Minato still has to touch you (or make contact with you via his chakra network but he without Kurama has to touch you anyways). Kakashi in the novels easily defeated kunoichi who blitzed 4th raikage and is stated to be stronger than what he was in the war arc (yes even with kamui). Now all other Kage in Boruto are handling Kinshiki Otsutsuki level threats in terms of pure stats not to mention Kara members who are even stronger. Not to mention that the whole concept requires Minato to travel to dangerous places like volcanos/swamps etc that would do damage to himself and then place the mark and then start the fight

@@floppa731 Shinra Tensei can never be a good counter for the flying raijin if we are talking official canon, and not a headcanon version in which it doesnt have a 5 second cool down. 5 seconds may not be a long enough time for most characters but for Minato? with the broken ass space time ability that ignores space and time?? c'mon. Nagato isnt spamming anything when his opponent is Minato. Even Kakashi was able to almost exploit the 5 seconds and kill the Deva path. if it wasnt for the cyborg path (i forgot the actual name lol) who got in the way. other paths getting in the way isnt something Minato will have to worry about since 1. His movement/reaction speed AND of cause teleportation is faster than any of the pains. 2. he can teleport the different pains to different locations and take care of them separately.
Am I missing something. Don’t all the paths of pain share the same vision? I imagine that would make things a lil bit difficult for minato to out right blitz pain. Then to add to that pain was fatigued during his fight with naruto after his use of the almighty push, so there has to be some consideration for him having all of his stamina in this hypothetical fight. (Just a thought)

You can give Nagato 100 more eyes, Minato still murderblitzes. Reaction time doesn't depend on the amount of eyes you have. Minato is several blitz tiers above Nagato, so it's nothing more, just a blitz.

I understand for the sake of the video and had these two ever met in battle Minato would fight pain and Size him up, but out of character not out of character move would be for Minato to use FTG and battle field remove all the Pain's from Nagitos range. Lets say Minato knows how Pain operates then he will look to end the fight fast throw some Kuni touch any Pain mark him then like he did with Kushina teleport that Path of pain away to any Kuni that he had marked before. Once there realistically that pain should be far enough outside Nagatos range the body would be useless. Rinse and repeat that a few more times atleast with the heavy hitter Pain's then he could locate Nagato with the Chakra Rods or with Sage mode or hell I believe Minato was a sensory type so just fine Nagatos Body GG fight wouldnt even be a fight and only take a matter of minutes!
A rage-amped Nagato summoned the Gedo Mazo and took out all of Hanzo's minions solo, before he was injured/during him getting injured, which, at the very least, should be counted as a pre-Pein feat. Imo, it's factually incorrect to say he has no feats and doesn't scale. It's also fair to assume that Hanzo's retinue weren't all genin.
The main pain, absorbing pain, and the missle pain (eyes at back of head, fast enough to get in front of kakashi’s Chidori) will probably survive at least 1 exchange, before minato figures out their ability
Minato just needs to make contact to teleport them out of Minatos range. The absorbing pain has to touch minato to kill him and at that point it's GG since minato can react and teleport it away before it has a chance.

The only thing I find it wrong is saying Sasuke battle Raikage is the same as Minato battle Raikage. When absolutely not. Sasuke fought a MUCH stronger and faster Raikage and we know that Raikage even reached Minato's speed. What people don't understand about Minato's speed is that he's KCM1 Naruto level, but with the FTG he looks much faster sometimes and obviously there are situations when he couldn't dodge but he can teleport, still avoiding the attack. So yeah, Minato, scaling to KCM1 Naruto is definitely a blitz tier above Pein, so this fight ends within 0,00001 seconds with a blitz. Overall very good video. 👍 Keep up the good work! ^^

At 8:01, there's multiple aspects of power. There's concussive force, and then there's piercing force. Minato may not have the most wide scale power, but he should be able to cut through most things, if he enhances his kunai with wind chakra.
He wouldn’t need to do that tho he was strong enough to slash through a 8 tails tentacle like butter and none of the paths have that level of durability besides maybe tendo if he was the only path being controlled

I do definitely agree with your points in all of this, though I did want to point something out. At 5:29, when you mention Minato warning Naruto about Obito, Minato was telling Naruto to watch out for orange mask Obito, a much stronger version of him than the one Minato faced. Even if you use the concept of Minato watching through Naruto’s eyes, Naruto hadn’t even seen Obito do much yet, since the Five Kage Summit took place after Pain’s assault. Up until that point, Obito only ever flexed his power under the guise of “Madara”. Regardless of this, I still think Minato claps and deserves WAY more respect than he’s given. Six goes into Yellow Mask vs Orange Mask Obito a few times briefly in his other videos. And basically it's stated that up until the war arc I believe, there is no one alive who can place the nine tails on a genjutsu. Meaning either A; Obito was amped via hashirama cells or something or B; Obito has just blatantly gotten weaker since his showdown with Minato. Obito even expands on this in the Five Kage Summit when he claims he's a mere shell of his former powers while roleplaying as Madara

Another thing i think people overlook is that Ym obito is just relative to Om obito, like obito uses hashirama cells to amp his body beyond its natural physicality as a 14 year old, obitos natural physicals are lower than the buff he gains from zetsu cells, so all he really did was train his body until hes relative to the amp to where he does not need the zetsu anymore, plus if we are going off feats, minato is stronger than any character obito came up against until the war, and he only did that as yellow mask, so via feats orange mask obito is physically weaker

I feel like that one is mostly just: If Itachi meets a certain criteria he wins, otherwise minato wins. Ie, if minato looks at itachi pointing at him its game over. If minato knows to avoid that then itachis probably doomed
They're in the same speed tier, meaning both can react and keep up with each other. And then the thing is: Minato has no genjutsu feats and I don't see why wouldn't he just get one tapped by it like Orochimaru did. Maybe not with 3 tomoe Sharingan, but a Mangekyou genjutsu would 100% take out Minato, I don't see why wouldn't it. But if you say genjutsu wouldn't work for some reason, then it could go either way. But at least this is a debatable fight and actually entertaining, because the two characters scale to each other and are in the same tier. Not like Minato or Itachi vs Pein, where Pein just gets absolutely murderblitzed. It's not even fair. Minato vs Itachi is actually a cool battle and could go either way if you think Minato can resist Itachi's genjutsu.

Minato also took on an army with over 1000 people, he learned almost all uzumaki sealing jutsu's by the age of 22, he became hokage by age 22, went up againts raikage, created rasengan.
In my personal opinion I think minato could solo the entire akatsuki at the same time aside from obito, he completely fodderizes everyone except the big 2 and he just simply has far far better feats

I think minato saying hes not good at sage mode is pretty misunderstood. Minato is more of a speed type and sage mode seems to be more of a physicsl strength and preception powerup in which minato being a speed and precision type fighter he wouldnt really need that unecesarry strength or know how to use it.

Plus the speed amp isnt nearly as noticable as the perception and strength boosts it gives you can say it does but he only reacts to a weakened deva path with the speed boost and even then a lot of its perception

Whoawhoawhao, what's this "counter force of the Rasenshuriken" stuff? The drawback of the Rasenshuriken was the microscopic fuuton blades that hit the target making it untenable to use at close range. The reason he didn't have a drawback anymore was the fact that he stopped using it at close range. Not that he got so strong he could simply tank using the FRS. Remember, a ninja can't strengthen their insides (according to Kakashi). This is a miss.
the databook literally says he got over that weakness by getting a tougher body. Kakashi says you can't strengthen your insides yes but Kakashi doesn't have Sage mode to confirm that Sage mode doesn't.

Anyway, I know SM makes you more durable, but unlike the scene with Naruto falling on the spike, we don't see anything that demonstrates Naruto's SM body being strong enough that Rasenshuriken doesn't hurt his arm when it goes off at close range. We only ever see him not suffer the side effects of it by throwing it away from himself, which was only possible in SM because of how strong it makes him because it allows him to throw such a dense and heavy amount of chakra. Naruto does get a lot more durable with SM, but not so tough his insides are immune to microscopic chakra blades .
Funny idea: Minato vs the Akatsuki... What would the Akatsuki do against someone like Minato? I don't think any of the "normal" members would be much of a factor like Deidara, Kisame, or Zetsu. Minato's just much too fast. I dont think anybody except Itachi, Pain, and maybe Sasori (that poison tho) would be much of a threat. They would for sure need to work together and pull off a teamwork strategy to kill him. Seems a lot closer of a fight than Akatsuki vs Madara
Obito and Itachi are able to fight him and Itachi would probably beat him too, since they're in the same speed tier and Minato has nothing against genjutsu. I don't see him resisting a Mangekyou genjutsu from Itachi, tbh. So yes, Itachi more likely would beat him. Obito too, since he's gotten stronger and he won't do the same mistake twice against him. The second time, I think Obito would win too. And that's it. Kisame is the only one who maybe can react to Minato, but he wouldn't be able to win. Everyone else gets murderblitzed.

Minato is much faster than the raikage, being able to react to characters like rikudou Madara while a lesser version of Madara was reacting to a stronger Raikage, sped up from Ohnoki, and all the other kage. Itachi scales okay to KCM1 naruto who scales to the raikage but given the conversation between Itachi and Naruto, I cant say either of them were moving near their full speed. Minato is at least a tier of speed above Itachi but thats a lowball because that implies that Itachi is rivalling the raikage in speed, which is false. Itachi was fighting Kabuto alongside Sasuke who was being blitzed by the raikage

Certain factors are worth considering like how much info both have going into the fight. Pain is so much easier to deal with when you don't have to figure out how his abilities work during the fight. Granted Minato would figure them out in a relatively short amount of time especially if Jiraya could but it's worth considering. Minato is crafty so while not necessarily easier to deal with if you know how his ability works (especially since his gimmick is speed) it does provide counter measures for someone such as Nagato who can alter the terrain as he sees fit. He can displace the Kunai and any surfaces he marks with the Diva path and the linked vision would make this process easier for Nagato to do(especially when you add the summons to the mix). Of course, it's hard to kill a man you can't catch so Nagato wouldn't be able to do much against Minato as even if Minato was in great danger he can just flee and there's nothing anyone can do about it (unless he's protecting someone or something). While I do think Minato wins, even more so with info going in like Naruto had, this whole this was just you jerking Minato. Seemed like you think he can apply a change in Chakra nature to his Rasengan as well but only Naruto can do that... I guess Boruto as well kind of
I didn't read your entire comment, I literally only read the first part where you said one of the factors will be Intel they have on each other so I'll only comment on that part: it doesn't matter. For Minato he can go into this fight with literally zero intel and he'll still win. Obito has the most hax ability in all of Naruto, it took 3 special instances to get around that hax. The first being from someone who had worked with him closely for years and had managed to figure out exactly how that ability worked as well as planning and having weeks worth of prep time to counter and even then it wasn't a complete counter. The second being multiple people all fighting together knowing how his ability works and only being able to counter because one of the people fighting him had his other eye to counter it and even then it wasn't a perfect counter. The third is Minato. Had zero Intel, had mo idea about how the ability worked at all going into it. Saw it twice and instantly countered it so perfectly that Obito had to retreat and put his entire plan on hold. Not to mention that Obito had full Intel on Minato going into the fight and still it wasn't enough. So Minato can go into a fight with Pain blind of all of his abilities and he'll still easily pull out a win. Minato is just far too strong and far too intelligent to lose to Pain in any instance. He'll literally see each Pain use an ability and upon seeing them use it all once he'll deduce all he needs. People know Minato is intelligent but he's one of the most intelligent people in the entire verse in terms of battle IQ and just overall. Add that to his speed and his strength and he's just on another level. Minato is a monster and there's a reason people rate him so highly. He gets overshadowed by the likes of Madara and Hashirama but he's on that pedestal with them like he is in their tier but they just both beat him. Compare him to most other people and he just outright wins.

I feel like Pain's connected vision is actually a direct counter to FTG level 2 attacking from a blind spot, as long as more than 1 pain is up. Whether or not they could react to it is another question. Also, where do you think Jugo stand in terms of power scaling? He was getting boxed up by the Raikage pretty well, but it feels like he could maybe take Kakuzu or someone on that level.

Minato just beats pain up badly and twerks on him. Minato stated that 14 year old Obito was a much bigger threat and he fought Obito and nine tails at the same time, while his wife, son were used as hostage, and had to defend the village. Pain wouldn’t stance a chance, the narratives point that out from Minato himself.
The way I always interpreted Naruto’s progression to his father was KCM1 he could perform jonin Minato like feats while initial KCM2 him deflecting 5 bijuudamas was a Hokage Minato like feat (as seen through war arc Kakashi and backed up by Minato casually sending a juubidama away). We do know that Hokage Minato is below the full power KCM2 noted by Kurama and probably around the Mastered KCM2

Yet, Jiraiya, while strong and comparative to his other Sannin teammates, is relative to the war arc Gokage and clearly below Pain. Meanwhile, Minato from jump has always been one above the level of the Sannin even from the start of the series. Now, I'm not trying to overrate Minato. I honestly believe that Minato alive never reached his full potential and is arguably the weakest of the first 4 Hokage using their alive peak. No one is stating Killer Bee doing this makes him faster than both Minato & Ay and while Bee is among the fastest pre-six paths, he's never mentioned in the same breath as them. And again, Killer Bee assuming Minato would be goes to the whole point of both of them having "moves of a shinobi killer" so him predicting where Minato would be and getting there is impressive. That in no way shape or form means he's even able to remotely keep up with the Raikage's top speed or KCM1 Naruto during the war, let alone Minato using the FTG. But interpret the scene how you want, whatever. Read chapter 606, mainly the second half when Obito comes back to Madara. Also, Madara does know how kamui works and instantly masters left eye kamui when he took it from Kakashi in the war arc. Obito tells Kakashi that he was able to master the eye once Kakashi could teleport himself in and out of kamui which Six Paths Madara did immediately. Madara also knows the speed at which kamui moves That's arguable. Because while sure in part 1 the Sannin are relative to the Gokage, we know that they train with the databooks in particular hinting at the 4th Raikage constantly training. Onoki more so gets a mental amp through the war. It's also worth noting the timeline putting in perspective the length between Jiraiya's death and the war was at least 6 months apart going by the timeline between the 3rd databook (which happened right before Pain invasion arc) and 4th databook (which happened right before Naruto & Sasuke's final fight). Regardless, most consistent and level-headed scalers put the Sannin at full power relative to the other Gokage (of course excluding Orochimaru using edo tensei). There's nothing to suggest otherwise Sure believe what you want. To me, he's arguably the weakest when they are at their peak & alive but the first 4 Hokage are all at least 1 if not multiple levels above Pain or Nagato. There's also nothing to suggest Minato can't just blitz every shinobi that was in Konoha alive at the time so who cares. Sounds like headcanon to me with no realistic interpretation of Minato's overall strength and abilities. Literally in Konoha at the time, there's only 4 Kage level fighters in Sage Naruto, Tsunade, Kakashi (mainly when he uses MS at least at this time) and Guy (opening 6+ gates). Firstly nagato could just blow away the kunai with almighty push, he’s leveled a village he can push away some kunai second minato is not touching the durability of a full on Uzumaki with the Rinnegan third once minato kunai are gone nagato could just pull out his soul and not to mention has constant regeneration with the king of hell, if it’s the the 6 oaths separate then sure he could win but if it’s nagato than no, once all those abilities are under one person it becomes a serious issue for minato to the point where I’m confident he won’t win.
That’s all true if Nagato could catch him, but even without his kunai for flying raijin Minato is way too fast for Nagato to hit or catch. If for some reason Minato couldn’t find a way to kill Nagato (unlikely, since his KCM is stronger than the incomplete 9 tails that gave Tendo Pain such trouble), he could literally just leave and Nagato couldn’t do a damn thing to stop him.
Also, almighty push has a cool down. Minato’s smart enough that if one kunai gets blown away, he’ll just zip in during that cooldown window and do it again. If Kakashi can do it Minato would make it look easy.

I don’t believe it was ever confirmed if minatos teleportation has a range, but its a smaller radius than the black hole, he clearly loses. I think it all comes down to if minato can teleport away from the black hole.
Minitos speed is completely based on throwing his kunai. One almighty push or shinra Tensei and the kunai are thrown away in random directions ruining his placement of them or they’re all put in one place making them completely useless. The same level of speed he was able to deal with before he even absorbed bee’s chakra and could barley walk. That one ability alone makes pain win . Also he can absorb any ninjutsu that come into contact with him without even making a deal. He was using the animal path and holding up Naruto and absorbing his soul with the karaka path and caustically absorbed his rasengan without doing anything. Also on top of that he can use the Asher’s paths arms and blast as well.
You realize minato is faster than the first 3 hokage without ftg right so unless any of the paths of pain are in the same speed range as them there not hitting him

The statement that Naruto surpassed Minato when he got the Rasenshuriken down doesn't seem to imply anything about power to me when I take it in context. Minato created the Rasengan to take chakra form to the limit. He wasn't able to apply nature transformation to it before he died. Naruto managed to master the Rasengan AND apply nature transformation to it creating a crazy powerful jutsu, thus surpassing Minato by doing what Minato couldn't. Even if Minato is Rasenshuriken level.... did you see what a single Rasenshuriken did to Kurama when Naruto was fighting him?
I don’t see Alive Minato being able to waltz in a ninja village and solo it. Pain has great raw power and hacks. Alive Minato for me is mostly hacks (Sage mode being an exception). Just the fact that Pain can fly would be enough to completely negate many of Minato’s advantages stated in this video. Rasengan is a short range jutsu. FTG kunai can’t float in the air. Seals require you contact people-which is ineffective against aerial opponents unless you can fly yourself. Body flicker only works on the ground. Nothing is stopping Pain for floating in the air and using animal summons and mid-long range Jutsus to harass and attack Minato.
A lot of people seem to be confused at the Naruto getting stronger being able to negate the effects of the rasenshuriken. I don't care what you interpretation of it is databook 4 says he got a tougher body to overcome the weakness. Yes he did ALSO learn how to throw it but like Pa says Sage Mode toughens up your body like when Naruto was gonna fall on the spike in base and Pa saved him but the. He just fell in Sage Mode and was completely fine. Sage Mode just negates the needles getting into his arm by toughening his skin to an insane degree.
People don't understand because for some reason everyone forgets that Sage Mode causes body activation, allowing the user to heal rapidly, and recover. If you look you'd notice that Naruto doesn't use Rasenshrikan without either tailed beast power or sage power backing it, because it would still have the same effect on him if he did.

He’s also able to perform alongside a massively stronger naruto and bee, so it’s pretty obvious regardless.

Some people reaaaally overestimate Pain. Yes, he is an extremely powerful Kage-level opponent, but Minato just isn't a fair fight for Pain's powerset. Minato's only real weakness could be argued would be his sorta platued power, but with his feat against partial transformed Killer B + One-jutsu Sage Mode I think he'd be fine.

I've been saying this for years, if Minato hadn't sacrificed himself and survived the kyuubi attackthere wouldn't be a naruto series. I was rewatching Obito VS Minato and I have one question. What if Kakashi was at the site of Kushina’s birth like the other ambu. I don’t except it to make a massive difference, but surely Obito would spend extra time on Kakashi simply because he has history with him. If he did spend even seconds longer than Minato should’ve been able to seal the 9 tails back making it a lot harder for Obito to break it. From that point it’s possible Minato would drop Naruto off and get back just in time to stop Obito from fully releasing Kurama.

Minato has the ability to teleport anyone he touches. Nagato needs to be closer to his paths to control them, so minato can basically delete any path he makes contact with and can just teleport to wait out cooldown on shinra tensei or chibaku tensei. He's definitely fast enough to make contact with them, maybe set seals on all of them before they know his plan to pick them off. Nagato might need to set up multiple hostage situations at once to even have a chance. No shot Nagato can beat Minato.

A note about the the rasengan stuff you talked about around 7:30. The reason the rasenshuriken initially damaged Naruto is because of its wind nature, and he overcame the issue not by increasing his durability but instead by learning to throw it, with him only being able to safely use it point blank in kcm as far as I know. Minato never got the chance to incorporate elemental chakra into the rasengan, but if did learn or invent the rasenshuriken himself he probably would have suffered the same side effects unless he learned a work around like Naruto did. Maybe teleporting it right on top of the enemy? Regardless, using the rasenshuriken’s backlash as a way of measuring Naruto’s growth in comparison to Minato doesn’t really work because the base rasengan that Minato invented and used had no actual backlash regardless of the users durability. The fact that Naruto invented the rasenshuriken could be used to compare them, as Minato never figured out how to incorporate change in chakra nature. But it could be argued that Naruto only pulled it off because of the nine tails and Yamato allowing him to throw shadow clones at the problem. Really like your video so far keep up the good work. I’ve seen a lot of people downplay Minato so I always like to see content creators talking about him.

Naruto can use Rasenshuriken with Sage mode. When he was learning the advantages of incorporating nature energy into his kit he even said something along the lines of "I might even be able to use that Jutsu" then he pulls it out in the fight against Pain. If I'm not mistaken it was mostly the boost in regenerative capabilities that allowed him to use it freely vs just throwing it. That and the fact that the Jutsu fell victim to the whole the first time you see it, it will be the most powerful concept as it basically ripped his opponents apart. The second he was able to spam it the power and effect were effectively reduced

i know Six briefly mentioned this in the video but i dont often hear people mention the fact that Minato can mark literally anything he touches animate or inanimate. so his opponents destroying the kunais he throws in to the battle field wouldnt be detrimental to Minato unless hes stupid which we know he isnt. Realistically wouldnt he throw kunais for nothing but as a distraction and actually teleport to the marking he imprints on the environment during the battle itself. We've already seen this happen in the 3rd great war when he faced against A and Killer Bee. A was expecting Minato to teleport to one of the Kunais he threw but Minato instead teleported to the mark he placed on Bee.
People always talk about how if minato fights itachi or Sasuke (who can use Aamaterasu) theyd just burn the kunais minato throws in to the battle field, or in Minato vs Pain, that pain can almighty pull or push the kunais, like OK?? that wouldnt be detrimental to Minato in any way..
but Almighty Push destroys the terrain so whatever he marks get blown away too....

Using almighty push on just the Kunai wouldn't work in the first place because of the cooldown. Pain would need 5 seconds before he can use it again and that's plenty of time for someone as fast as Minato to attack even without teleportation. Normally it's so effective because people would need to recover from the attack then retaliate but if Pain used it against a flying Kunai there's no need for Minato to recover from anything

So pain beat Hanzo who solos the three Sanins. He rolls up in the leaf and mops the floor with the whole village. He then destroys the whole village. Then he fights a perfect sage. Then he fights a tailed beast. Then he makes a mini moon. Then he revives the entire village he just massacred. This dude casually captured a jinjuriki without a scratch. He could summon the gedo statue. This man caused an endless rainfall over a village. Minato is my favorite character ever. But flying thunder God against pain and his black rods is a terrible idea. Naguto can pull and repel. Pain was a hard counter to Minato in every way. He tries to come close repel, he tries to retreat you can pull him in with endless black rods. Also to destroy 1 planetary devastation core it took a tailed beast bomb, rasenshuriken and a Susan’s attack. Even if you say Minato leaves the battle field, Naguto simply stops using his power until he returns the same as the Sasuke vs Danzo reasoning. I’m not saying Minato loses, but bro you made Naguto look like Minato was casually wiping his ass with rinnegan users everyday.

considering that this is a versus battle and not Kishimato's narrative, is there are a reason why we should limit the flying raijin to what was shown in the manga/anime? i dont mean giving the jutsu head canon abilities. But using the canon features of the jutsu in ways that wasnt shown in the canon. for example Minato can teleport people/things he touch to the marking as shown in the manga/anime (with him at the same time or just the target). so why cant he use that offensively even though in the manga/anime he didnt. For example teleporting his opponents to marked kunais (or anything with a mark) buried deep under ground, or dropped in deep ocean. The only thing is there is a lot of people who are faster that Minato in terms of reaction speed, yes FTG is instantaneous but Minato still has to touch you (or make contact with you via his chakra network but he without Kurama has to touch you anyways). Kakashi in the novels easily defeated kunoichi who blitzed 4th raikage and is stated to be stronger than what he was in the war arc (yes even with kamui). Now all other Kage in Boruto are handling Kinshiki Otsutsuki level threats in terms of pure stats not to mention Kara members who are even stronger. Not to mention that the whole concept requires Minato to travel to dangerous places like volcanos/swamps etc that would do damage to himself and then place the mark and then start the fight

@@floppa731 Shinra Tensei can never be a good counter for the flying raijin if we are talking official canon, and not a headcanon version in which it doesnt have a 5 second cool down. 5 seconds may not be a long enough time for most characters but for Minato? with the broken ass space time ability that ignores space and time?? c'mon. Nagato isnt spamming anything when his opponent is Minato. Even Kakashi was able to almost exploit the 5 seconds and kill the Deva path. if it wasnt for the cyborg path (i forgot the actual name lol) who got in the way. other paths getting in the way isnt something Minato will have to worry about since 1. His movement/reaction speed AND of cause teleportation is faster than any of the pains. 2. he can teleport the different pains to different locations and take care of them separately.

Then to add to that pain was fatigued during his fight with naruto after his use of the almighty push, so there has to be some consideration for him having all of his stamina in this hypothetical fight. I understand for the sake of the video and had these two ever met in battle Minato would fight pain and Size him up, but out of character not out of character move would be for Minato to use FTG and battle field remove all the Pain's from Nagitos range. Lets say Minato knows how Pain operates then he will look to end the fight fast throw some Kuni touch any Pain mark him then like he did with Kushina teleport that Path of pain away to any Kuni that he had marked before. Once there realistically that pain should be far enough outside Nagatos range the body would be useless. Rinse and repeat that a few more times atleast with the heavy hitter Pain's then he could locate Nagato with the Chakra Rods or with Sage mode or hell I believe Minato was a sensory type so just fine Nagatos Body GG fight wouldnt even be a fight and only take a matter of minutes!

A rage-amped Nagato summoned the Gedo Mazo and took out all of Hanzo's minions solo, before he was injured/during him getting injured, which, at the very least, should be counted as a pre-Pein feat. Imo, it's factually incorrect to say he has no feats and doesn't scale. It's also fair to assume that Hanzo's retinue weren't all genin.
The main pain, absorbing pain, and the missle pain (eyes at back of head, fast enough to get in front of kakashi’s Chidori) will probably survive at least 1 exchange, before minato figures out their ability
Minato just needs to make contact to teleport them out of Minatos range. The absorbing pain has to touch minato to kill him and at that point it's GG since minato can react and teleport it away before it has a chance.

The only thing I find it wrong is saying Sasuke battle Raikage is the same as Minato battle Raikage. When absolutely not. Sasuke fought a MUCH stronger and faster Raikage and we know that Raikage even reached Minato's speed. What people don't understand about Minato's speed is that he's KCM1 Naruto level, but with the FTG he looks much faster sometimes and obviously there are situations when he couldn't dodge but he can teleport, still avoiding the attack.
So yeah, Minato, scaling to KCM1 Naruto is definitely a blitz tier above Pein, so this fight ends within 0,00001 seconds with a blitz.

I do definitely agree with your points in all of this, though I did want to point something out. At 5:29, when you mention Minato warning Naruto about Obito, Minato was telling Naruto to watch out for orange mask Obito, a much stronger version of him than the one Minato faced. Even if you use the concept of Minato watching through Naruto’s eyes, Naruto hadn’t even seen Obito do much yet, since the Five Kage Summit took place after Pain’s assault. Up until that point, Obito only ever flexed his power under the guise of “Madara”. Regardless of this, I still think Minato claps and deserves WAY more respect than he’s given. Glad to see there’s a channel out there on “Narutube” that’s giving Lord 4th his due credit. W video.

Another thing i think people overlook is that Ym obito is just relative to Om obito, like obito uses hashirama cells to amp his body beyond its natural physicality as a 14 year old, obitos natural physicals are lower than the buff he gains from zetsu cells, so all he really did was train his body until hes relative to the amp to where he does not need the zetsu anymore, plus if we are going off feats, minato is stronger than any character obito came up against until the war, and he only did that as yellow mask, so via feats orange mask obito is physically weaker

When you think about Minato, his really a rabbit in a group full of tortoise (not talking about the paradox)... In other shows, Minato would be fodder
think you should do minato vs itachi considering ur biased towards both of them and i dont think its a one sided stomp as people may seem it is i would actually put them the same teir of power or overall combative ability
I feel like that one is mostly just: If Itachi meets a certain criteria he wins, otherwise minato wins. Ie, if minato looks at itachi pointing at him its game over. If minato knows to avoid that then itachis probably doomed
They're in the same speed tier, meaning both can react and keep up with each other. And then the thing is: Minato has no genjutsu feats and I don't see why wouldn't he just get one tapped by it like Orochimaru did. Maybe not with 3 tomoe Sharingan, but a Mangekyou genjutsu would 100% take out Minato, I don't see why wouldn't it. But if you say genjutsu wouldn't work for some reason, then it could go either way. But at least this is a debatable fight and actually entertaining, because the two characters scale to each other and are in the same tier. Not like Minato or Itachi vs Pein, where Pein just gets absolutely murderblitzed. It's not even fair. Minato vs Itachi is actually a cool battle and could go either way if you think Minato can resist Itachi's genjutsu.

Minato also took on an army with over 1000 people, he learned almost all uzumaki sealing jutsu's by the age of 22, he became hokage by age 22, went up againts raikage, created rasengan.

I think minato saying hes not good at sage mode is pretty misunderstood. Minato is more of a speed type and sage mode seems to be more of a physicsl strength and preception powerup in which minato being a speed and precision type fighter he wouldnt really need that unecesarry strength or know how to use it.
It greatly amplifies speed too

Plus the speed amp isnt nearly as noticable as the perception and strength boosts it gives you can say it does but he only reacts to a weakened deva path with the speed boost and even then a lot of its perception

Whoawhoawhao, what's this "counter force of the Rasenshuriken" stuff? The drawback of the Rasenshuriken was the microscopic fuuton blades that hit the target making it untenable to use at close range. The reason he didn't have a drawback anymore was the fact that he stopped using it at close range. Not that he got so strong he could simply tank using the FRS. Remember, a ninja can't strengthen their insides (according to Kakashi). This is a miss.
the databook literally says he got over that weakness by getting a tougher body. Kakashi says you can't strengthen your insides yes but Kakashi doesn't have Sage mode to confirm that Sage mode doesn't.

Anyway, I know SM makes you more durable, but unlike the scene with Naruto falling on the spike, we don't see anything that demonstrates Naruto's SM body being strong enough that Rasenshuriken doesn't hurt his arm when it goes off at close range. We only ever see him not suffer the side effects of it by throwing it away from himself, which was only possible in SM because of how strong it makes him because it allows him to throw such a dense and heavy amount of chakra. Naruto does get a lot more durable with SM, but not so tough his insides are immune to microscopic chakra blades .

Funny idea: Minato vs the Akatsuki... What would the Akatsuki do against someone like Minato? I don't think any of the "normal" members would be much of a factor like Deidara, Kisame, or Zetsu. Minato's just much too fast. I dont think anybody except Itachi, Pain, and maybe Sasori (that poison tho) would be much of a threat. They would for sure need to work together and pull off a teamwork strategy to kill him. Seems a lot closer of a fight than Akatsuki vs Madara
Obito and Itachi are able to fight him and Itachi would probably beat him too, since they're in the same speed tier and Minato has nothing against genjutsu. I don't see him resisting a Mangekyou genjutsu from Itachi, tbh. So yes, Itachi more likely would beat him. Obito too, since he's gotten stronger and he won't do the same mistake twice against him. Minato is much faster than the raikage, being able to react to characters like rikudou Madara while a lesser version of Madara was reacting to a stronger Raikage, sped up from Ohnoki, and all the other kage. Itachi scales okay to KCM1 naruto who scales to the raikage but given the conversation between Itachi and Naruto, I cant say either of them were moving near their full speed. Minato is at least a tier of speed above Itachi but thats a lowball because that implies that Itachi is rivalling the raikage in speed, which is false. Itachi was fighting Kabuto alongside Sasuke who was being blitzed by the raikage

Certain factors are worth considering like how much info both have going into the fight. Pain is so much easier to deal with when you don't have to figure out how his abilities work during the fight. Granted Minato would figure them out in a relatively short amount of time especially if Jiraya could but it's worth considering. Minato is crafty so while not necessarily easier to deal with if you know how his ability works (especially since his gimmick is speed) it does provide counter measures for someone such as Nagato who can alter the terrain as he sees fit. He can displace the Kunai and any surfaces he marks with the Diva path and the linked vision would make this process easier for Nagato to do(especially when you add the summons to the mix). Of course, it's hard to kill a man you can't catch so Nagato wouldn't be able to do much against Minato as even if Minato was in great danger he can just flee and there's nothing anyone can do about it (unless he's protecting someone or something). While I do think Minato wins, even more so with info going in like Naruto had, this whole this was just you jerking Minato. Seemed like you think he can apply a change in Chakra nature to his Rasengan as well but only Naruto can do that... I guess Boruto as well kind of
I didn't read your entire comment, I literally only read the first part where you said one of the factors will be Intel they have on each other so I'll only comment on that part: it doesn't matter. For Minato he can go into this fight with literally zero intel and he'll still win.
Obito has the most hax ability in all of Naruto, it took 3 special instances to get around that hax. The first being from someone who had worked with him closely for years and had managed to figure out exactly how that ability worked as well as planning and having weeks worth of prep time to counter and even then it wasn't a complete counter. The second being multiple people all fighting together knowing how his ability works and only being able to counter because one of the people fighting him had his other eye to counter it and even then it wasn't a perfect counter. The third is Minato. Had zero Intel, had mo idea about how the ability worked at all going into it. Saw it twice and instantly countered it so perfectly that Obito had to retreat and put his entire plan on hold. Not to mention that Obito had full Intel on Minato going into the fight and still it wasn't enough.
So Minato can go into a fight with Pain blind of all of his abilities and he'll still easily pull out a win. Minato is just far too strong and far too intelligent to lose to Pain in any instance. He'll literally see each Pain use an ability and upon seeing them use it all once he'll deduce all he needs. People know Minato is intelligent but he's one of the most intelligent people in the entire verse in terms of battle IQ and just overall. Add that to his speed and his strength and he's just on another level. Minato is a monster and there's a reason people rate him so highly. He gets overshadowed by the likes of Madara and Hashirama but he's on that pedestal with them like he is in their tier but they just both beat him. Compare him to most other people and he just outright wins.

Do you know why the 9 tails did less damage? Because Minato was around to stop it. Had Minato been around for the Pain invasion Pain would have done no damage to the village at all. Pain isn't on another level to Minato at all. The series makes it very clear that Minato is just above most other people. The very fact that it takes the likes of Madara and Hashirama to beat him speaks volumes. And like I've said he's very clearly on their level as he has many feats that put certain abilities he has above them.

I feel like Pain's connected vision is actually a direct counter to FTG level 2 attacking from a blind spot, as long as more than 1 pain is up. Whether or not they could react to it is another question.
Also, where do you think Jugo stand in terms of power scaling? He was getting boxed up by the Raikage pretty well, but it feels like he could maybe take Kakuzu or someone on that level.
I don't think pain could react to FTG Level 2 because it was instantaneous. Even Obito himself was surprised and unable to react to it.

The way I always interpreted Naruto’s progression to his father was KCM1 he could perform jonin Minato like feats while initial KCM2 him deflecting 5 bijuudamas was a Hokage Minato like feat (as seen through war arc Kakashi and backed up by Minato casually sending a juubidama away).
We do know that Hokage Minato is below the full power KCM2 noted by Kurama and probably around the Mastered KCM2

Read chapter 606, mainly the second half when Obito comes back to Madara. Also, Madara does know how kamui works and instantly masters left eye kamui when he took it from Kakashi in the war arc. Obito tells Kakashi that he was able to master the eye once Kakashi could teleport himself in and out of kamui which Six Paths Madara did immediately. Madara also knows the speed at which kamui moves
That's arguable. Because while sure in part 1 the Sannin are relative to the Gokage, we know that they train with the databooks in particular hinting at the 4th Raikage constantly training. Onoki more so gets a mental amp through the war. It's also worth noting the timeline putting in perspective the length between Jiraiya's death and the war was at least 6 months apart going by the timeline between the 3rd databook (which happened right before Pain invasion arc) and 4th databook (which happened right before Naruto & Sasuke's final fight). Regardless, most consistent and level-headed scalers put the Sannin at full power relative to the other Gokage (of course excluding Orochimaru using edo tensei). There's nothing to suggest otherwise
Sure believe what you want. To me, he's arguably the weakest when they are at their peak & alive but the first 4 Hokage are all at least 1 if not multiple levels above Pain or Nagato. There's also nothing to suggest Minato can't just blitz every shinobi that was in Konoha alive at the time so who cares. Sounds like headcanon to me with no realistic interpretation of Minato's overall strength and abilities. Literally in Konoha at the time, there's only 4 Kage level fighters in Sage Naruto, Tsunade, Kakashi (mainly when he uses MS at least at this time) and Guy (opening 6+ gates). Everyone else even with your downplay of Minato would be way too weak and slow to handle a shadow clone of Minato blitzing and wiping them out with a rasengan or a kunai that can cut off one of Gyuki's tails which has only been shown by the Raikage's using there strongest lightning attacks, Sasuke's chidori spear and JUUBIDAMA (not saying Minato's kunais scale to the last one but would make sense it's relative to the others).

That’s all true if Nagato could catch him, but even without his kunai for flying raijin Minato is way too fast for Nagato to hit or catch. If for some reason Minato couldn’t find a way to kill Nagato (unlikely, since his KCM is stronger than the incomplete 9 tails that gave Tendo Pain such trouble), he could literally just leave and Nagato couldn’t do a damn thing to stop him.
Also, almighty push has a cool down. Minato’s smart enough that if one kunai gets blown away, he’ll just zip in during that cooldown window and do it again. If Kakashi can do it Minato would make it look easy.

Minitos speed is completely based on throwing his kunai. One almighty push or shinra Tensei and the kunai are thrown away in random directions ruining his placement of them or they’re all put in one place making them completely useless. The same level of speed he was able to deal with before he even absorbed bee’s chakra and could barley walk. That one ability alone makes pain win . Also he can absorb any ninjutsu that come into contact with him without even making a deal. He was using the animal path and holding up Naruto and absorbing his soul with the karaka path and caustically absorbed his rasengan without doing anything. Also on top of that he can use the Asher’s paths arms and blast as well.
You realize minato is faster than the first 3 hokage without ftg right so unless any of the paths of pain are in the same speed range as them there not hitting him

The statement that Naruto surpassed Minato when he got the Rasenshuriken down doesn't seem to imply anything about power to me when I take it in context. Minato created the Rasengan to take chakra form to the limit. He wasn't able to apply nature transformation to it before he died. Naruto managed to master the Rasengan AND apply nature transformation to it creating a crazy powerful jutsu, thus surpassing Minato by doing what Minato couldn't.
Even if Minato is Rasenshuriken level.... did you see what a single Rasenshuriken did to Kurama when Naruto was fighting him?

I don’t see Alive Minato being able to waltz in a ninja village and solo it. Pain has great raw power and hacks. Alive Minato for me is mostly hacks (Sage mode being an exception). Just the fact that Pain can fly would be enough to completely negate many of Minato’s advantages stated in this video. Rasengan is a short range jutsu. FTG kunai can’t float in the air. Seals require you contact people-which is ineffective against aerial opponents unless you can fly yourself. Body flicker only works on the ground. Nothing is stopping Pain for floating in the air and using animal summons and mid-long range Jutsus to harass and attack Minato.
