- Say hello to the new S1-Class Meta! The Alfa Romeo 155 Q4 with the DTM Touring Car Kit from Forza Horizon 4's Series 30 update. Goodbye Bugatti EB110, 2005 Ford GT & NSX-R Meta! The combination of the Alfa Romeo V6 Twin-Turbo engine swap, racing slicks, touring car downforce parts and a lightweight body makes this car the new fastest all-rounder for S1-Class. There is a catch as it is not the easiest car to drive and it is DRY ONLY!

Alfa Romeo 155 Q4 S1-Class performance review:
I cannot say this enough, it is a Dry only car with wet penalty and it has dirty air penalty as well. So only use it on Summer playlists.
As what you expect from the new top S1-Class car, it has everything from the currently the fastest accelerating S1-Class rivaling the Ford GT, to great cornering grip thanks to the downforce and slick tires. However the car does have this overall understeery feel. But the biggest drawback is its brakes, especially for ABS on users. It doesn't like going on grass either and it requires smooth inputs to keep the car gripping.

@@Evolution_NL This is "Forza's way" of manual clutch shifting. Realistic or not, its the faster way.
@@IsuckAtDriving have no issues my self. I thought it was indeed the game but shifting a little earlier it doesn't do it for me. Also you have a little more hp and torque when shifting earlier. See the graph when tuning. Car is amazing and so are your driving skills 👍
Edit: i over read you have manual clutch. Explaines allot why you rev that high. Just checked and I use auto clutch and manual shifting.
@@Evolution_NL You might be right, but after you change the gear it drops too low in which the HP is too low. So if u rev it up higher and change it then the average HP between 2 gears is higher than changing like you. YOURS applies only in car having old rally engines with single turbos like Subaru or something, even Hoonigan RS200 with standard engine works like as you said

The Alfa also has great top end. This tune is gear ratio limited, with taller gears it will be even better. It already had no problem hitting 215mph on Colossus which is already EB110/GT region.

Supra was a special case because it is a RWD powerbuild. RWD powerbuilds are the top of rivals leaderboard but they aren't used in racing in general due to the difficulty in using them.

have you tested a clk gtr with the ultra grippy tires in s1? when fitting the grippy tires on, it puts it in s2 class, but you can fit it in s1 by putting on heavier rims and stuff. its one of my faves.

What tune do you recommend for online? I managed to set some top 100 rival times with nalak tune but find the brakes a bit lacking for online when i dont know the tracks too well :P

I wouldn't say that this thing is op but it's the ats GT replacement tbh, the ats with the right tune can feel solid and deliver consistent results for the average driver (in s1 class). The 155 in pub lobbies like this? walks and stamps the ats right into the ground, idk how they pulled it off but this "thing" is going to be the top "consistency king" for a while for me. I know that the "ats isn't cheap" and "it's not the fastest around" but again I come back to reccomending the ats for its forgiveness in most situations that new drivers get into. The answer? Get 50% in the spring season and start owning lobbies.

Seems like it might be better for rivals than matchmaking, the handling seems noticeably worse than the GT/EB110/etc which is fine in rivals where you're hitting optimal lines, but tougher for matchmaking where you need to corner around or alongside other racers.

My version of this car went for a low weight and mid power approach using the racing v6.
550bhp with weight at around 2100lbs, 8.9 handling.
Is this setup also viable in your opinion? Or should I seek to switch to a more power oriented build similar to yours?

original engine is 2.5 n/a v6 and gives +400hp @ 11.5k rpm. i dont know anything about forza, did you change the engine?
This is the road version, so it's a 4 cylinder turbo.

Supra is a RWD powerbuild and they are usually the top of Rivals leaderboard but they are generally not used in racing due to ramming and the difficulty of using it.

One of The Best Underated Cars in GT2. Too bad We don't hardly see it in Racing Games anymore. It's a Legend and a beast. Ashame Alfa-Romeo didn't Add this Car on Sport to Complete against those BMWs, Mercedes, and Porsche. Hopefully they bring DMT Racing in the latest GT Sequel. Maybe get the rights and Add Manufacturers like Volvo and Ariel.
