- Tired of hearing the same overpowered Racing V12 Engine swap in S2-Class? Then the Aston Martin Vulcan Forza Edition is just the right car for you! Powered by it's original 7.0l V12 engine producing 949HP. Showcasing it's overall performance in several Ranked Races. Do note that the FE version is better than the normal version of the Vulcan.

Aston Martin Vulcan FE S2-Class performance review:
As mentioned in the video, this is a DRY only tune and it can be affected by Dirty Air.
Perhaps the most surprising stats of the Vulcan FE is it's acceleration. It has one of the strongest launch accel in S2-Class and almost equal accel with the Pagani Zonda R, one of the top accelerating cars in S2-Class.
Unfortunately what prevents the Vulcan FE from being the top of S2-Class is it's overall handling. While it is still good, it doesn't turn as well as the top cars in S2-Class. The tune has very high rear power bias, so a bit of throttle control is needed at corner exits. It also will lose all of it's acceleration at high speed as it has a hard top speed cap set by the game.
Overall a competitive S2-Class car that doesn't need the Racing V12 swap.

For anyone who wonder, the Vulcan FE’s stock engine can rev 1000rpm higher than the normal version, resulting in an approximately 13% increase in acceleration overall. But the acceleration advantage dies at about 280kmh even with all downforce set to lowest. So it’s still in a weird place and not recommended if unless you really like this faulty car like me.
As a year long Vulcan main, my Vulcan FE has went through 39000km already. I have fight against many many good racers with their META cars in my Vulcan and even push my record into the world 18th on the S2 Edinburgh City Sprint rival for once.
Tbh I am having a mixed feeling now. My favorite car got recognized by one of the best driver in world, but the feeling that “I am the very few person who drive this car and keep winning” have lost.
I’m also an FE main. I got it one day and I just kept using it for online
@Nach Biscay Vulcan is really rare to see, especially in the hands of skilled players because of a simple reason----This car is an all-round-package of many good things. But everything it can do, there are other cars can do it better. So it's in a weird place.
The car has nice handling&grip but cannot compete with handling beasts like Apollo, CLK GTR or Elise GT1. It has strong acceleration but only lasts until 280kph, and it will lose to most of the S2 class cars after 320kph in terms of acceleration. In real races, the most sensible top speed of Vulcan is about 355kph. And the car is pretty much dry only.
With these said, if you want a strong dry race allrounder, Pagani and Ferrari have many better offerings. If you want a fast accelerating, handling focused car there are Mercedes, Lotus, Apollo and even TVR. Not mentioning the Vulcan has terrible dirt traction with rally tires so it's not good for snow races. Skilled players usually ended up using other cars simply because there are better at particular jobs.
There is nothing special about this car or the feeling, it's just a personal thing since Vulcan is my most adored Aston in real life with a stunningly elegant design and mighty roaring V12. If there is really one outstanding I can point out in the game, is that as a player who drives Vulcan so much, I know almost every detail of the car's behaviour in almost all races. So I can push it to its limit with more confidence. But the car does have a lower top limit than others.
Remember. This is one guy. You're still one of the best with this car.

Well, while that is extremely amusing to see, it's probably worth pointing out that the Mercedes CLK GTR isn't the one that went flying. That famous incident was the 1999 Mercedes CLR-GT1 at the 1999 Le Mans :P

Question, have you done a video on the #2 GT40, because I used it for the weekly trials event and beat everybody using mostly Porsches by a sold 10 seconds, most didn't even finish the race, and wanted to have an expert opinion as to it's competitivity in online events

I got this car early on my playthrough. It has great skill perk, good for skill points, but on dry track, it got dusted by other s2 cars. That rear wing has too much downforce and drag I think, which slows it down.

Actually tuned it a bit and tried both engines to try which is the best one. Never really found a difference. On track at least. Dunno how it would look like on sprint.

I think it's a good competitor because the horsepower and torque curve are pretty straight just like the racing v12

question. how do you know when to down shift and what gear you should be in?
I usually hear by engine sound. It also depends on the engine's power band, you don't want to drop the RPM too much from it's power band.
