On today’s Episode of Modern day Marco Polo, I take you guys with me as we race up the mountain roads into the clouds.
Welcome to Genting highlands, the local weekend getaway spot. I check out some temples, before heading to the supposed most haunted hotel in Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur. I walk through the hotel as much as I could, before chatting to some of the locals who live there.
After that, I take you up to the modern area, with the casino, theme park and normal shopping mall stuff. Before getting lost trying to get out of this insane complex 😂
I finish the video off by taking you guys for dinner to the famous Jalan Petaling Chinese street food section.
Thanks for your support! See you in the next adventure 🫡❤️

All petrol station in Malaysia is self service. You should observed how the locals pump fuel. Look out for the pump number, walk in to the counter, tell the counter your pump number and how much you want to fill your bike and pay. Go back to the pump and then start filling the fuel. That's all. Then you good to go.

My brother used to work as a manager at genting resorts during the 80's and it was well known amongst the staff that certain rooms were just haunted, they would try not to give out the keys unless no choice. and almost always when they did give out those keys the clients complained. apparently some husband wife pracitsing black magic in the room to try beat the casino, ended up failing and comitting suicide in the room was the rumor

You can pump your own fuel at the Petrol Station actually. It's self service. You pay with your Credit Card. Most of us prefer to pay at the counter. Old habits. The service attendants are only being helpful to make themselves useful and to speed things up.

i remember watching a tiktok live last year about ghost hunter going to genting highland. i remember most of it was fake and funny like running and chasing after a hooded figure (his friend) but later he went up a few floor and said that it smelled like dirty cloth musty smell, and he went to open this big door and literally theres a dried up corpes hanging from the ceiling.... the camera pointed at the body first before he saw it and he screamed like crazy and called the police. it was shocking to see the state of dried up body, the arms are brown green and wrinkly.
