The yellow sap is good for wounds and some people even remove warts and other skin anomalies!
do you have any advice how to collect milky sap of Celandine? I need 2 soup spoons but it's impossible to collect just collecting from the cracked parts. only a drop or so. thanks in a advance

Gotta find some of that!! :) It's also a liver detoxifier; as the liver is cleansed, ringing in the ears will abate, so says Maria Treben in her book 'Health Through God's Pharmacy'. Mrs. Treben is long gone, but her book is still quite popular.
I have the same plant in my yard. It has poison. But really helpful for people. Friends,be careful with this plant. Before use it,read in internet or ask your doctor. I use it for my problems in Gynecology,I made Order on ozone Vaginal candles. Women will understand me.

It is my understanding that this Celandine Poppy is an invasive plant in North America and should be banished from our gardens because it crowds out our Native plants.
How sad! It has a beautiful flower and lovely leaves, too. Should I encourage eradication?
