Thank you for showing us your studio - you are so organized and everything fits perfectly. I notice that some of your containers have like a wrap under the cover? Does it help to keep everything dry? Thank you so much!

It's to keep the clay from drying too fast! When they dry too fast sometimes I don't have enough time to sculpt wings on them haha

Thanks for sharing your tools. How do you deal with dust and ventilation? I'm guessing your studio area at home has a window nearby?

Thank you Julius 🥳 So usually I clean all my tools & wheel after throwing, and wipe down surfaces (like my hand-building table and side tray table where I keep my tools) with a wet sponge, then a wet towel. Every week I mop the entire floor (but if I dropped a huge chunk of clay or spilled something, then I clean up that day). I sweep the big parts off the floor with a broom & then wet-mop the floor with a swiffer.

Where do you go for firing your products? Is there a place in your town that offers this service?

I fire my pieces at a local pottery studio (they charge by weight). If you are in the U.S., see if you can find local pottery studios or other potters and fire your pieces together to be more efficient (and also cost-effective when firing together)

I wonder why people like you do not show their face. I think it is a mistake...no matter what a person you looks like, people should identify themselves because by showing who you are and who the pottery belongs to, the pottery itself has an identity. There are other people who make the same mistake, the result is very negative. I can not sell my pottery ( no matter where ), unless I adentify myself. My pottery is part of me not a ghost.
