Excellent. I truly appreciate videos where there is [a] unboxing, [b] assembly, and [c] demonstration. I purchased one. It looks like a toy but in medium depth snow, it does the job (for the price). I would recommend.
This lil snowblower is a mini powerhouse. I've had mine two years. It can clear 8 inches of snow easily. Struggles a bit with heavy, wet snow but will still get the job done. Great for decks. Tip for those who struggle moving it. Don't lift up on the handle to try and get it closer to the ground. You only end up shoving the plastic auger into the ground, causing it to stall.
I have the plug in one and i like it so after i saw your video i just order last night the battery operated 40v lets hope it works good i live on delaware and here dont snow alot problobly one or twice the most 6 inches but must of the time from 1 to 3 thanks for this great video
Seems like a good snowblower. I got the skil one but kind of wish I would’ve bought the greenworks because I know they make very nice strong things and it’s cheaper.
I have a couple of questions for you regarding this unit. 1. How is it holding up and have you used it on deeper snow? 2. How long does it take to charge up an exhausted battery?
I just bought this for $90 because that was half the price of a replacement battery. I may or may not use the snow blower itself just for fun this winter.
Best to buy this if either its going to be your only electric tool, or if you're already using other greenworks battery powered tools. And make sure you can get replacement parts. Light fluff snow up to mid thigh looks to be no problem, but if that plastic blade hits ice, you'll be praying no one gets hit with small sharp bits.
@@JoeLinux2000 thanks for reminding me to ask for a refund for the 3 spool covers I ordered last July that never showed up. I tried finding "replacement" spool covers - for the 12 inch 40v weed trimmer. Nope. Then I tried replacing the weeder trimmer "head" by taking the casing apart. That was interesting since I verified the Greenworks claim that the trimmer head is NOT replaceable. haha. It had the trimmer head as a plastic extrusion around this metal pin safety deal. Oh well. Yeah I got a later model trimmer that does have a replaceable head and spool cover. The first trimmer was $80 and it lasted two years - so not too bad. The electric Snow shovel battery has this very painful safety lock button with the hand trigger - it literally cramps up the tendon and finger muscles super fast. I got the job done but I would need to MacGyver that trigger I think to use it again. Hilarious.
Good eye! No, I was clearing my relatives driveway. They have a typical square driveway, and thought it would be a better test, plus, they're seniors and could use a hand!
If it's this Greenworks model, the little aluminum skids at the front don't slide on concrete. I added small luggage wheels to the front and that helps a lot. It's a common problem with many different machines from different manufactures
Be nice if their batteries were dependable. Bought a Greenworks snow product and the battery wouldn't even charge up right out of the box. Could not get a replacement, so returned for refund from Amazon. Went to another manufacturer and worked just fine. Would not get another Greenworks product.

Easy to start and maneuver, reliable, and light weight

I reinforced the scraper with polyurethane glue. A metal-epoxy weld glue will be my reinforcement for the snow shovel.
@@voidisyinyangvoidisyinyang885 Too bad these machines need so many modifications.

Why does this driveway seem slightly different? Did you move Peter? Love the videos and keep up the fantastic work!

Thinking of buying one like this
Do you recommend this one
For a typical driveway and non extreme winters, I think it’s perfect.
Buying with the 1 year extended warranty at my local Menards store
My blower don't move that smooth it's hard to push am I doing something wrong..

Where did you get the beanie made

Snow blower starts and shuts right back off its battery operating
the blade is plastic, might not so durable, better to cost more to get one with metal/rubber blade.
It's not powerful enough and the wheels are too small. Save your money for something better.
