she is an amazing vocalist, people forget it and just thinks she uses the "breathy sad girl tone" but she is an Artist with the "A"

you need to do more Billie, she's incredible. All her snl performances have been extraordinary and she's been there 3 times already (one of those she was host and musical guest at only 19 and did an amazing job).

Billie has always had a beautiful voice. She learned the basics during her time in the children’s choir but over the past couple of years she has really evolved and grown and developed techniques to use her voice in different ways. I don’t think that she will be one of those artists who changes her persona as she gets older, rather I think that she will expand and explore new and different avenues to create her art.
Her voice is so angelic! I love Billie!

She appeared to be having a hard time while performance completely in the breathy tone because after a couple of "breaks" while breathy she switched over to a more connected sound. Was still very good though.
yes I agree. The breathy sound can become tiring on our vocal cords and she probably needed to change approach
