Most Wanted is the reason why I want this car. So unusual to see a supercharged 4-cylinder FWD car imo.

I actually bought one in real life for 2k there pretty fun to drive the only downside is the mpg it's bad compared to my neon but mean it makes sense since mine is supercharged rather than tc

The V6 Pontiac Fiero maybe the next closest to a rwd Cobalt, which as 4 cylinders.
But I think GM should have made the Cobalt SS with full time awd, but the ratio should be something like 70% power to the rear, and 30% power to the front, its awd that has more of rwd results.

To make the Cobalt rwd, one could relocate the engine, transmission snd other needed parts to the back, and it would not be easy and will be very time consuming, but can be achieved.

I want one of these so badly or the hhr version but if I got a cobalt I'd have to get a neon srt-4 too and if I got a hhr I'd have to get the caliber srt-4 (which made more power than the neon but weighed a lot more lol)

Im confused on the cobalts there’s 3 different type of cobalts you can get? The 2.2l and the 2.4 ss, which is supercharged and then there’s the ss with turbo or is it all turbo . ?
There are 2 different 2.0 ecotecs the early 2.0l( LSJ Engine code ) is supercharged and the later 2.0l ( LNF engine code ) is turbocharged. The other 2.2l and 2.4 l are N/A. The turbo and supercharged cobalts are manual only the 2.2l and 2.4l have optioned automatics

I'm not sure about engines but there was three ss models there was a n/a SS cobalt, supercharged and of course the turbo model which was the fastest stock cobalt tbh I really want a turbo model just to own a turbo car

NoQuarterAirsoft cold air intake, smaller pulley/belt are some good places to start
My cobalt is not an SS, it's a 2009 4dr sedan with the 4 spd auto unfortunately, but it's a nice little car nonetheless, has 41,000 miles on it, and it drives nice, I like these little cars and I'm looking for an SS/TC

Stock sounds perfectly fine on the cobalt. 11 years later and my grandfather's car was handed to me in perfect condition especially the exhaust and it sounds fine. Exhaust mods like this are just unnecessary unless you do it properly and not with the popping it's a tuner not a super remember that next time.

+Nathan Flores i put an air intake in it and i think it added 6 hp....but thats all i did with mine but mines a 2010 Cobalt LT so it may be a little different than yours
what engine does it have? i find the Ecotec 2.2 and 2.4's have a pretty good aftermarket to them.
they do hence the reason im on the verge of bankruptcy im bad at saving unless im saving for forced induction haha
987agamer well all I can say is, a GM supercharger kit existed for it
they still do if you go on zzp for the 2.2 and the 2.4 but you may need some other small parts

I don't understanbd.....I had an 06ss that went 11.6 in 1/4.....5.2 60mph, these cars seemlike nothing......don't get me wrong I love it......but where is the car I had......stage 3 supercharged, I put that in myself, idk what else was in it tho

John Doe a ricer would be like a civic with just a loud exhaust. these come factory with either a supercharged or turbocharged vtech engine. I have a turbocharged that has 380whp 20psi boost.
