funny thing, i'd actually never played GOW1 start to finish, only a few levels here and there on my friend's PS2 when we were kids, and when i beat it on my vita and did the Challenge of the gods, on the undead soldier challenge i actually figured out the timing on my own. Knowing now that that's an actual strat made me feel so good :D
played all the way through over the course of a year (had other games I bounced to on PS2 as well) then took an entire summer to beat the Challenge of the Gods. It was so painful but knowing people strategized differently from what I did on that platform rising section is funny (you can literally chain stomp out the Cerberus pups and be immune the entire time because of the grab attacks)
In the labyrnith in Gow3 Is a glitch,if you fail or die you can just go back to menu then load autosave And it will spawn you where you died And it still counts for the trophy

If you go into the arena after finishing your save and die until the game hits you with the “do you want to lower the difficultly?” Notification then accept it you’ll be in the game with all your upgrades still. Sadly it’s a glitch but it sticks as long as you save before quitting

It's funny you say you did all the challenges, because 3 has a second set of challenges. The Challenge of Exile. If you thought that particular platform challenge in 1 was rough, there's an extra challenge in 3 that will bring you to your knees.
I’ve started platinum-ing every GoW game chronologically, got the platinum for Ascension, Chains of Olympus, GoW1, Ghost of Sparta, GoW2 and currently about to get GoW3’s. Already platinumed GoW2018 so that leaves only Ragnarok.
Challenge 10 in GoW1 you can abuse knock-back with the combo Square > square > square > hold square You'll skip all the flavour of the hold combo, and go straight into the big swing at the end that can't be blocked by the satyrs

I've been working on a nightmare run of deadlight and if anyone has played that it's controls are extremely unresponsive where you have to move almost perfectly and doing those challenges for God of war 1 yesterday I about lost my mind when he said he's gonna get evicted I felt that shit. I just did gow3 and there's a cheese for the amazed trophy I used. If you die just quit out instead of of retrying and then load up the auto save I died twice because I wasn't worried about it and still got the trophy
God of War 1 definitely is the hardest to platinum of the trilogy, thanks to the fact that you have to complete it with hard mode and the ball busting challenge of the gods. Tho out of all the greek games Ascension is by far the hardest to platinum, because you have to complete it in hard, you have to get 1000 hit combo and the hardest part is the online stuff because nobody plays it online so its nigh impossible to platinum unless you have friends that are willing to help. My highest in Ascension to this date is 90% and it will probably stay that way, sucks ass cuz I was able to platinum all other 5 greek games and 2018

The second reason might be even dumber. I heard it was a Devil May Cry ripoff so I assumed it was a bad game. I eventually played God of War games later, but I started with the worst one, God of War Betrayal on my Nokia phone.

The way I did it tho was on 9 refill rage of the gods (The meter carries over to each challenge after the first) and then press L1 at a frequency that is always in parry time frame, parry and press square. And then when I was high enough I activated rage and cleared house

Beating GOW 1 under 5 hours is actually easy. All difficulties gave 100% orbs, the attacks of the Blades and magics give 100% too. Now climbing that tower with thorns without getting hit is kinda difficult but I get on first try because of my experience. Challenge Of The Gods is painful but worth in the end. God Of War 2 is my favorite of all time and the first I ever beat. I managed to beat the Challenge Of The Titans after some good 5 hours (COTG took me almost 7 hours) and get the God Armor, I got the 20 Cyclops Eyes using the arena, I just didn't beat the Titan Mode because Theseus is a asshole. God Of War 3 is my 3th favorite, behind GOW 2018 and the GOW 2. I managed to beat the game first on PS3 and then on PS4. The Challenges are difficult but not painful as GOW 1 (in my opinion). Only thing that I have to do is beat Fear Kratos, blind 100 enemies with Helios Head and kick 100 Cerberus.

I actually just did this myself! Challenge 10 in God of War 1 is absolute nightmare fuel. Thankfully GOW 2 and the PSP games are far easier.

But you only need to complete tutorial in ascension to get multiplayer trophy. You don't need any players
