Sorry to disappoint but this one is no match for the snap on modis edge. It has some new features but nothing that the modis edge can’t do. Plus, it doesn’t have the 2 channel scope as the modis edge.
I heard a lot of bad things about snap on scopes from a 35 year tech, lagging, your better off with a fluke scope, even the real old ones that look like a game boy screen are more accurate and lots cheaper these days.
Go with a Picoscope and laptop. Download the Pico software and do the automotive tests. Otherwise you can get the Modis Edge. There's also a stand alone scope that snap on has (can't recall name) that is pretty popular with techs as it's separate from the scan tool according to my Franchisee.
I'm a big fan of puppies and monkeys. ;) Great vid as always, Jermey. Would it be fair to say the Apollo without a current subscription is similar to the Modis Edge?
As a owner of the Zeus Snap On needs to stop making a new scan tool every year trying to outdo the previous one. Whether it be the intelligent diagnostics or other stuff I at times find the data lacking due to the database being limited to what snap on collects from users of the tools in shops off of repair orders. If this information isn't entered then it don't make the system. Now with the Zeus I do like the fact that with the intelligent diagnostics you have the troubleshooter, functional tests, etc. Dealers have to use factory mandated equipment and that's where that repair data don't make it into snap on's system which is the downside. Dealers can't get paid for warrant work using nothing but the mandated OEM scan tool they supply the shops.
1 were is this in the line up ? Top shelf or middle vs other snap on scanners 2 how much $ 3 at one time snap on hands down was the go to scanner hands down these days they are in dog fight with other scanners on the market this scanner looks to be second wind to take snap on to the top again
Well i own a Crapco Maxme and I HATE IT! Stay away from it. It was only $800 but its pure junk. Never loads the scanner just crashes. and needs wifi to work So i may look at this instead. 👍🏻
Does this have wiring schematics like the Bosch?
Can you print with it
Where do I find out where the pids should be at?
They need to make it wireless!
Amazing video brother very very much appreciated. Very professional and very informative:)

Just got one ,5.200 plus taxes (Florida)
That was a really good video. Love watching keep up the good work from the uk
can you tell me how to use
“Top reported fixes” aka parts cannon. The tsb feature is nice, however this looks like prodemand put on your scanner.
it is prodemans. its called shopkey pro, it uses prodemand basically rebranded with snapon name. i canceled alldata and us shopkey pro now
Need a basic 2 channel scope in it and it would be perfect!

Needs wi fix and cloud storage. Not that simple.
How do I connect it wirelessly to a printer?, Also in the Connect it does not show the apollo platform?
Down load shop stream connect on your pc. This allows you to print, view and instal any patches or updates on the unit.
I tried, though I need to know the platform, as it shows every scan tool on the website, though doesnt have an option for the Apollo
I wasn’t aware of that. I’ll ask and see if I can get an answer.
Haasl tools this video is showing up in a different country
Just purchased from our guy in Alabama. Very Impressive so far.
Does this work on transit buses and heavy trucks
This doesn’t work on the medium and heavy truck. For that you would need a pocket iq or a pro link that we offer
Excellent video...... 😄😃😄😃😃😯😯😯😯😯
Is it hard wired to the DLC or does it have a wireless module.
The Apollo is wired vs the Zeus that is wireless.
What scanner is this going to replace in the current lineup for snapon? Price?
Great video keep it up.
I can only assume this replaces the solus line of diagnostics. They haven’t said anything officially.
already ordered mine from my dealer

Maximas doesn't require wifi, test drives,it has it perks on euros, it a launch scanner after all.
Is the Apollo D8 replacing the soulus? Glad I found your channel, have a great week
They haven’t said officially but I am guessing it is replacing the solus.
The interface is a big step down from current platforms.
