Thats not chantilly… chantilly is a whipped cream. Thats more like a cream patissiere or buttercream with eggs but not chantilly

Isn’t chantilly frosting whipped cream? I make chantilly cakes/cup cakes and I’ve never had to go through so much make the frosting. Just some heavy cream and a stabilizer like mascarpone cheese. This frosting is more like a custard, never seen it done like this before.

This is Hawaiian chantilly it’s made differently but is really good.
