Hi Sean, fir the Anlin sliding patio door, can the deadbolt be added after door is already installed? Will installers do that or Anlin ? My sliding door was installed two days ago and there are more windows to be installed soon. However, I noticed as installer was finishing up with sliding door installation that the deadbolt I requested was missing. He said I should contact their office which I did and was told by the sales rep that he would mention that to the office. I am waiting to hear back from them.
Yes, they can install a deadbolt after the fact. I might ask Anlin if they would send a tech out and you pay for the deadbolt and labor to install it, that should not be an issue.
Great question! Actually, both lock options passed the California Forced Entry Codes....so either is a fine option. The "Pull Tight Cam Lock" is in my own opinion a slightly tougher lock, but either is going to work great.
Hi Tiffany Walker. Yes! They absolutely do. The windows we sell have an "anti-jimmy" interlocking rail so that someone from the outside is not able to pop the locks when they are in the locked position.
I like these windows No balancers and the entry of getting in won't be so easy. I'm looking into ballistic glass. Won't stop people but will slow them down.
They could if it’s regular glass, but the impact glass (laminated glass) is going to hinder that quite a bit. It’s a great option for homes that the owner wants more security.
Hi there! I’m considering Milgard Tuscany windows with the upgraded sound package 3 that includes the Keepsafe glass. One point I’m stuck on is the fact that the glazing bead is on the inside. One less option to pry open.. What are your thoughts?
Not with laminated glass, which is one of the options for these windows. Sure you can crack it, but the film is going to make this very difficult and noisy!
I’ve gone to a call for a customer who unfortunately had a break in, and they broke the glass because they could not pry the window open. They could have used laminated glass.
Need these windows
You can still break the glass and bend those bars and get in. I’m looking for it to be impossible to get in through the window.
🧠Thanks for Demo
Nice thank u

But do you guys make doors?
Yes, we definitely install sliding doors and French doors as well
Is the “True action lock” going to be a secure option? Or are you giving up security for a more aesthetically please lock?

I rather have my home heavily fortified
Jonny Depp does windows.
Absolutely!
Do windows that go up & down have sash lock?

Can't the burglars just break the glass?
They could if it’s regular glass, but the impact glass (laminated glass) is going to hinder that quite a bit. It’s a great option for homes that the owner wants more security.

That can be easily be broken using crowbar

They can just pry the window 🪟 frame especially when they are on meth
