Not only is Michael a fantastic comedian but he is also a genuine good human being. The joy he brought to that family and especially the grandmother heartwarming.
We need more Michael McIntyres in our lives

That has got to be the most extraordinary, exciting and most kind thing Michael has ever done. I am lucky that I have relatives near by but for a mother who hasn't seen her son and grandkids for 8 years and been surprised like that is just so extraordinary. What a Brilliant Christmas they must have had. And with Sharon Osbourne watching in the Send to All Box is an added bonus. Well Done Michael.

Since I discovered this guy, I became litterally addicted to his shows to the point that I record his shows and listen to them in my car! Crasy, isn't it?
That beautiful oldest girl, with tears of emotion running down her face, seemed utterly oblivious to the audience and cameras. She was just overawed at seeing her grandmother in the flesh at last.
I live in Australia & get to see my family every 2 years. Once I didn't see them for 6 years. This lady, her son & his family hadn't seen each other for 8 years, wow what a surprise that would have been for Mum. Things like this always bring tears to my eyes. It never gets easier for me leaving my family every time I visit.

This is a proof that families can still bond even they are seas apart! Those grandkids never saw their grandma and they are very emotional to see her, kids can't fake emotions! This is so pleasant to witness indeed!!

OmG man how can you not see your mother in 8 years ???!!! And the children especially not see their grandma. I'm from Africa and we save it all to go back and visit and reconnect with parents and family that's the lifeline in these hard times.
