I don’t care if Olive Garden is not real Italian food. I LOVE THE ALFREDO FETTUCCINE!
I made this tonight. It was absolutely amazing. I noticed several people asked how much freshly grated cheese to use and I wondered too. He doesn’t say in the video. I used 1.5 cups and it was perfect.
id use as much as i can fit in it lol
I made ONE slight modification - i did the "cut off the top of the garlic, drizzle with EVOO / seasoning, wrap in foil and cook on high temp til soft like a paste" instead of his method for the garlic. This dish was AMAZING. I felt transported to that american italian nostalgia that we all know and love!
The fettuccine alfredo from Olive garden is like my number one favorite food
Mine too!!!
Same! So nostalgic!
Same
THIS WAS SO GOOD AND TASTES EXACLTY LIKE THE OLOVE GARDEN CHICKEN ALFREDO loveeeee and will be making this again
Followed this recipe for making Valentine’s Day dinner. It came out jaw dropping!! Better than Olive Garden!! Best recipe success I’ve ever had!
I am so excited to try making this at home one day because in order for me to have this dish, I have to drive an hour to get to an Olive Garden. I cannot wait to make this at home. I love their food!
Did you end up attempting to make it? If so, how'd it turn out??
I followed this for dinner tonight and it taste just like Olive Garden !!! Thank you so much . This is my favorite restaurant and now I can make it at home
Wow I made it. Amazing taste, so creamy. The second time I made it I add shrimps. 😋😋 Thanks
Me and my girlfriend were craving very specifically olive garden fettuccine and this is absolutely identical. The ingredients are shockingly cheap and simple for this meal.
No way this “tastes exactly like Olive Garden” since Justin used a higher quality cheese and then grated it just before making the sauce.
ooooo
They also don’t use pepper
Somebody post the recipe. Fact that we have to spend 20 bucks to get it made me so sad.
Step 1Follow instructions to cook fettuccine subtracting about 2 minutes from the cook time to ensure the pasta is al dente (it will cook further in the sauce). Reserve about 1 cup of the pasta water.
Step 2While the pasta cooks, in a large skillet over medium heat melt 1 tbsp of butter. Add grated garlic and black pepper and cook for 2 minutes, stirring frequently, until the garlic is fragrant and the pepper is lightly toasted.
Step 3Whisk in heavy cream and the rest of the butter. Bring the cream mixture to a simmer and let reduce over medium for 2 to 3 minutes or until the sauce has thickened slightly.
Step 4When the pasta is fairly al dente add parmesan and cooked fettucine to the skillet and toss until the cheese is melted and the pasta is fully coated. Add ¼ cup of the pasta water and simmer for an additional minute tossing until the sauce is glossy and cohesive. Keep in mind the sauce may still look a little loose but it will thicken as it cools. If the sauce is still too thin, add more pasta water, ¼ cup at a time (the starch in the water will thicken the sauce). Season to taste with salt and pepper.
Step 5Move pasta to a bowl and garnish with freshly grated parm and parsley.
@@kevinrowland1009thank you Kevin
Yeah ridiculous
@@kevinrowland1009you are amazing thank you
@kevinrowland1009 your a real one this is exactly how you do it
I wish I could copycat their blackened chicken!! Their grilled chicken is the absolute best!!
I cant wait to try this, thanks for sharing!
Tried it and modified it. Excellent. Thanks
Some of us are not able to get ( fresh Parmesan )…. I’m just gonna have to, use what I have. Hope for the best… 😅 Can’t wait to try this, though, thank you for sharing. 😊
Try Amazon. They have everything nowadays…
@@26Monkeys Not everyone can buy stuff online. Some of us only have cash. Also, fresh Parmesan is expensive as shit. People gotta use what they gotta use.
Besides of lookin amazing (haven’t made it yet), live the vocabulary you used throughout the video! Thank you! Deliciousness, cheapness, juicy, silky, and some other delicious words!
If only we had smellovision! Nothing beats the fresh smell and taste of garlic. That looks absolutely fantabulous. Yummy!
The only part of this alfredo recipe I haven't really done before is adding pasta water when mixing the noodles and sauce. I will try it next time and see if it helps the sauce to cling to the noodles.
Just made it. It came out great! So good!
To see the recipe you have to pay$20 for a membership to delish....that made me sad 😔
Can't you figure it out by watching the video?
Thank you for not INSISTING we use white pepper for this recipe. This is exactly how I make fettuccine, with shrimp tho💕💕
By cream are we saying heavy whipping cream 😬
I’ll try heavy cream lol
So late to reply, but YES, heavy whipping cream! Hope it turned out fabulous! 😊 This is a great recipe and a favorite of my family!
@@YourFavoriteSwiftie does it taste like olive gardens?
This is a great and delicious recipe, thanks for sharing
Yes I just made this 😋 onlyyyyyyy substitution was veggie pasta 🤭 delicioussssss 🍝OMGoodddnesssss
Thumbs down for putting a paywall on the official recipe!
The title of this video is like saying “remaking the perfect McDonald burger”
Please copycat their soups! Especially the sausage soup. It’s literally 10/10
Yess! Its my husbands fave soup id love to learn to make it for him
Yessss Pls, Zupa Tuscano or somthing like that lol... It's sooo DELISHIOUS 😋 those potatoes & SAUSAGE... Yum.. I want some NOW 😭
@@Mz.Kimmy79there's here on you tube a recipe how to make the zupa toscana and it tastes better than olive garden
Here’s a twist … instead of pasta water use flour in the heavy or whipped cream . Also add some seasoning to the Alfredo sauce … I added pepper and Mrs dash . Also I added parsley and Italian seasoning as well
Or, you know, just use the dang water so you're not adding an unnecessary extra ingredient? 💁♀️
@@englishatheart your food sounds unseason and I would not want to try it. Thanks for telling on yourself lad.
Looks amazing!
Add some leftover Turkey from Thanksgiving and it’s delicious
I made it and used made breaded crispy chicken to go along with it. So goooooooddd, better than olive garden for sure
I need a video remake but just cooking with no edits. That would help a lot
What kind of cream?
I tried this, better than Olive Garden (: ty
Holy crap a Shouta no Sushi T-shirt.
digging that shirt
Oooo making it soon. Plus chicken n mushrooms 🍄 yuuum
Oh my! Looks so tasty! 😍😍
it needs more sauce.
Pasta water changed my Alfredo game. It gives this unique taste to the Alfredo
I want this NOW!
Reminds me of my childhood
What kind of butter and what kind of cream??
I'm thankful for this video
What brand of Parmesan cheese did you use?
Oooh this is awesome!! Learned something new today!
Hey man, you're missing a few TBS of Cream Cheese, wups - this will be FAR superior to "pasta water", try it, you'll never go back :)
where's the roue?
Oh this is so delicious
What type of pepper
I always thought the Alfredo sauce was so glossy looking cause of the oil in it. Didn't know it was cause of the butter
I will be making this. Nice shirt
Can't eat it...low carb life style but still watched it..looks delicious 😋
Try it with spaghetti squash or zoodles instead! (:
I actually ordered this at Olive Garden with their Zoodles. It was delicious. I think if you want to try it use zoodles.
@@abbles86 🤮 Squash is an abomination.
Wrong. I WANT THE GARLIC NUBBINS!
Mmmmmmmmmmm 😊
how much parm cheese should I use? 😭
Not enough sauce for me.
Anyone know the macros on this dish?
This was made without egg. Wait, then why does the olive garden recipe say it contains egg tho? Is that because of the fettucine?
How much parm?
Looks so delicious! My mouth is watering right now! I can’t wait to make it! Thanks for the great video!( I don’t like the new short videos….)
Looks good but a bbq pitmaster like myself wouldn't cook it in the oven
I have made this
is there a way to take this recipe and reduce the amount of fat it contains ?
He didn't even say what temp to have the pan at /:
Did he say 7 TABLESPOONS OF BUTTER????
The alfredo. What did you expect…a salad??
Olive Garden uses fresh pasta not the box stuff
What Olive Garden are you going to 😂😂😂
I Add cream cheese to mines it’s taste better that way
I thought Olive Gardens recipe also used flour to make a roux.
Very nice
Looks yummy! 👍😋😊👏
Need June.
I know a lot of people like this and that’s great but it’s not true fettuccine Alfredo. There is no cream in it. It’s just butter, cheese and pasta with pasta water to make it creamy. I personally don’t like the cream. It curdles and I don’t like the texture. But that’s just me.
How much cheese?
Start with one lb. Add more if desired or needed. Wisconsin will love you. Cardiologists will love you. Your friends/family will love you. Heath Insurance Companies will hate you. Would you rather be loved by three groups of people or hated by one? Olive Garden Alfredo is not worth the hype they are given. I do not understand the hoopla. It's good, but not WOW great. Not worth the $15.00 it costs.
There is no black pepper in Alfredo
Love this video but one thing that cracks me up, for some of the ingredients he's like "grate your own cheese, it's much better fresh! Ground your own pepper to get the best experience" meanwhile every single time I go to olive garden I always get an alfredo pasta to go since my local one has the $5 take home pasta, and that thing is all around frozen lmao but it's still the most delish
Where is the recipe
FYI: Pasta takes 14 minutes (still al dente) and pre-grated cheese is fine
Not really. Pre-grated cheese has a potato starch coating on it which causes it to not melt correctly
The asiago version is WAAAAYYYYY better
Then make it and video it yourself if you think so
10 años trabajé en olive garde 49 horas sausa station .. esa incorrecto mi amigo
Can you add the ingredients? what kind the cream or cheese? make for dump people like me, not pretending people already now some steps
Looks good, but you would have farts for days.
HOW MUCH FCKING CHEESE
Its annoying that you type in fettuccine alfredo and all thats comes up is the 'authentic' videos. Ffs in italy its just known as pasta with butter and cheese. I want the proper american version!
I love olive garden food
Olive Garden pasta sucks. And Alfredo pasta does not have any cream.
Oh yeah oh yeah guy that whag me gf say I learn this w bf?
It’s a scam
Not sure this is going to taste like the OG version (get it?). No one added a half pound of salt, and you're not getting the requisite microwave-y taste.
Every recipe of Alfredo that I have seen has garlic in it, maybe you missed the boat ?
lol this just aint true
Look good but so heavy!!!
“Olive Garden’s version is the best”. Everything you say from that point on = meaningless.
Olive gardens just hits Home for me.
It is the best !
He talks to much
Does not taste like olive gardens pasta
