Ah, that's so special to hear! We will try to produce new videos for you to enjoy :) Thank you so much for taking the time to watch and comment, we always appreciate it :)
“ blue-collar Karate “- Perfect;). Loved the video, and the breakdown, and the adjunct texts of peppered parallel perspectives ( sorry- couldn’t help myself;). The last “ child-like scribblings” whirlwind and lapel microphone, as one, sounded as if you both were super powered throughout ( no doubt you are;). Definitely want to try THAT ONE out! Thank you again- and take care as always!
My irreverent (and sometimes irrelevant) comments are my favourite part of editing, and it never ceases to delight me when people notice and appreciate them :D
We call this, Gyaku Gekisai only because this is what we were taught so many years ago, this is the first time I have seen anyone else actually do this, other than Higaonna Hanshi. Interesting alternative on the spin to block the shuto 👍🏻.
It's a bit of rarity in Goju, but no less important for that! One of the great things about UA-cam is that it allows us to amass a global library of techniques (even if we don't all agree on what is important) - hopefully we can contribute something to the style we love so much.
It's called as tsuzuki-te 続き手 “sequence" or duì liàn 对练 in Chinese meaning "sparring, comparison" or literally "right practice". So you're doing it right with these sequences. :)
So sorry but that's Wrong....对 in this context means Confrontation, as in 对抗.... therefore 对练 doesn't mean Right Practice, it means Confrontational Practice....It's basic Chinese.
Hello! My lineage is through Sensei Miyazato and down, (I am based in South Africa but have had a number of Okinawan instructors) but I have heard of Tino Ceberano :)
I am a Shorin stylist, and I am so appreciative of your channel, because I learned this as Fukyu Kata ni. Getting deeper into Goju.
We love to hear from our friends in other styles! Thank you so much for taking the time to watch and comment, we always appreciate it :)
Thank you for the mention, Sensei Ché. 😊 I enjoyed this one very much, especially the Randori application. So many layers and so much depth to it.
Our pleasure! Hoping to get back to releasing more content like this once chimney season calms down (and Brian returns for abuse I mean help)
From Spain I love this channel I watch a video every night before sleeping. Keeping going sensei

"Thick thighs save lives" love it 🤣😂🤣 thanks again from another Goju Ryu Sensei
It may cause holes in our jeans, but we love our thick karate thighs! 👏👏👏
There are very much secrets in a kata just like this. Thanks a lot sensei for sharing!
Glad you liked it! Lots of secrets even for those of us who have been doing the kata a long time :)
