Very quite Jenny , don't over do it , i don't want to loose my favourite vloger , are your sound levels down , music fine , maybe just me ??. BIG THUMPS to Robert , Cheers Jeff
Aww, thanks, Jeff! I'd turned my mic off (accidentally) when we stopped for lunch, so I had to download the recorded audio and sync it, and that was on full volume 😊 It drives Robert crazy that I keep messing up my mic 😂 Yes! I was so proud of him doing it! Thanks, all the best, Jenny 😊
Its a good job i read over the hill outdoors comment first 😅 yeah we climbed up the middle part and rob got stuck 😂😂 Then i slipped down one side a fell about 25 ft , but hey its still a great place to be.
Omg! 25ft 😮 that must've hurt!! Robert said he slipped a couple of feet, and although there were lots of people up there, not one bugger asked if he was ok! You're right though...even down the bottom, it's a beautiful place! 😊
Hi 👋. That was a beautiful walk and amazing view 🤩. Please don’t push yourself too much, if you feel uncomfortable and tired just have the break, don’t over do it ❤. Well done Rob 💪👏. Congrats 👏and look after Jenny. Really enjoyed watching 😊👍. See you soon.
Aww, thanks for your lovely comment! ❤️ Yes, I knew it was right not to push myself... I was very proud of Robert, though as it was a tough climb, apparently 😃 I enjoyed having a bit of me time at the bottom. It was beautiful 😆
For some years I had a cough that would afflict me mainly when I was engaged in strenuous exercise. The answer my otolaryngologist gave me floored me, but he turned out to be right. It was GERD. I wasn't having heartburn, so I was doubtful, but I took proton pump inhibiters, and the cough troubled me a lot less. My mountain climbing partner has a strange sense of humor, so when I would have coughing fits on the trail, he would tell the other climbers, "Don't worry, it's just tuberculosis." I remember reading about some act of civil disobedience in the Peak District back in the 1930's called the Kinder Scout Mass Trespass. Apparently it led to the opening of a lot of private land to public recreation. Unfortunately here in the USA crossing farm land can be extremely dangerous.
Hi, I'm glad you got to the bottom of your cough. Here in the UK, we've apparently had an increase in Whooping Cough, also called The 100 Day Cough. Once you get it, it then also opens you up to other infections (according to my doctor). Thankfully, I've stopped coughing now (unless I eat ice cream as for some weird reason, that makes me cough! 😆) Yes, we are very lucky here in the UK as we do have a lot of open access land, public footpaths, and permissable paths, many of which go through farm land! Some even go through their actual yards. You're never far from a footpath sign...
Dragons back is my all-time favourite place in the peaks. Well done, robert, for completing parkhouse, better luck next time, jenny. That cough tried to kill me ( 100 days my @rse mine lasted about 6 months😂). Guess what, pair of idiots climbed that bit ont the end and got stuck on the way down 😂😂😂
It is a beautiful place! I loved watching people going up and down... some I couldn't even watch! 😆 It is one hell of a cough! I think I can only now say I'm only coughing occasionally! Oh, I wonder what pair that would be ! 🤣 Robert said he slipped over at one point inches away from the edge! 😲
Sometime it's wise not to push our bodies and listening to it. You had a cough and then get into a hot day and I'm guessing high humidity all hard on healthy lung let alone ones just recovering from a cold. I find vertical walks kill me anyways lol. Robert will now be known as the Dragon Slayer and I guess I'll be the Bologna Slayer LOL. The views as usual were awesome hope you have an awesome week
Oh my goodness, it was such a hot and humid day! I really did struggle to get air into my lungs! I was disappointed I failed, but knew I would've been silly to have pushed myself! But the rest of the walk was amazingly beautiful! Haha, Dragon Slayer... he'll love that! He was quite pleased with himself - rightly so! And you the Bologna Slayer! I'm yet to catch up on that one 😊 Thanks as always! You, too, have a great week! 😊
@@bumblejennybee88 You didn't fail you realized your limits,.On that day with those and your condition, that's a pass. Bologna slaying will be in part 2 on Thursday so you'll have time to get part one in lol.
Fantastic Jenny - it sure was a beautiful day and although the nasty flies were out a great route through the hills. I was a bit worried about your response to the hill. I hope you're OK - are you sure it's not cardiovascular? It's worth checking out. Well done to Robert though - he was a happy chap. Well, good going otherwise considering what your year's been like. Take care out there. Mark
Hi Mark, it really was a beautiful part of the Peak District for sure! To be honest, I did kinda laugh it off, but I was a bit worried, so I did get it checked properly and had a chest x-ray... I got results back this week, and all is ok. Thank you for your concern. Robert felt so alive that day. He didn't think he'd get to the top, and from his accounts of how tricky it was, I'm happy I enjoyed the simple route. It was actually quite nice having a bit of me time 😃 Thanks again, Mark... all the best to you!
@@bumblejennybee88 Good to hear of the beauty Jenny and that you checked out your chest and things are well. Ah, perseverance wins the day there with Robert. Nice one! As for your good self we're allowed to take it easy. A pleasure as always.
Great views. Take care of yourself, don’t overdo it.
Thanks. It was a tough one, but the views certainly made up for it 😊
