WOW, this is the last band I expected to see on any react channel. Whoever requested this is legend. Firehouse is so underrated and one of my all time favorite bands. Their first album is gold from start to finish. Definitely my most played album.

I read somewhere that it was because of the timing. This song came out in the early 90s, right after the ‘hairband rock’ groups started to change and shift their style by cutting their hairs, etc. if they would’ve released their stuff in the 80s they would’ve definitely been up there and more recognizable. Not sure how true this statement is, but it made sense to me.
When I look into your eyes and love of a lifetime are great epic songs for the 80's. Great singer. Thank you guys so much for everything you do!!!!!!!!
This was the music of my high school years. All the songs sounded very much just like this. And then grunge music came out and everything changed.

I love how BJ was tapping his chest. He was feeling that from the rip. I don't know one person who didn't like this song out tha gate. You heard it once & you were singing halfway through it. Total banger jam that hasn't lost its 🔥.
A TOTALLY underrated band. A similar really underrated band is Alias. I only have their self titled debut album. I don't know if they released another album. I THINK they hailed from Canada.
The singer and a few others were from the band Sheriff and they're Canadian I believe.

@@michaelasay8587 they're American, just never completely took off. They had their biggest hits with the ballads "Love of a Lifetime" and "When I Look Into Your Eyes". Maaaaany an awkward first teenage slow dance was danced to those in the early '90s in the US.

They were originally called white heat but another band sued over the name so they changed their's to firehouse the guitar player lived in Charlotte NC and I was friends with his son they were all really cool guys and fun to hang out with man I miss them day's
Wife Speaking..Hey.., These guys are from Charlotte NC..(About 1 hour South of me)..They were HUGE in the Hair Metal/Glam Rock scene..Seen these Guys a few years ago in Myrtle Beach SC with Winger and Great White...They were really Awesome..One of the Coolest Concerts I've ever attended!!! And that's alot!!

I had such a mad crush on the singer, CJ Snare lol We met him when I was 15 and I couldn't say a word to the man. He kissed my cheek when my friend told him he was one of my favorites.

Discovered by Slaughter and opened for Skid Row and Kiss in 1990-1993.

This is the sound of the 80s coming to an end and all the great times and care free parties ciming to an end begore 90s grunge killed it all....music has never been as much fun since....or life either imo.
This band still sounds as good as it did back then.
This was one of those bands that was strictly for the (metal) chicks. Dudes didn't really get into this type of song, but hey........game recognize game -- they got the girls into the arena, didn't they? 50 points to Firehouse.

I knew I wasn't alone when the dude next to me in the club started singing with the band "I finally found the crack of a lifetime."
Oh yeah, this and some others were the nails in the coffin for rock to evolve from the 80's to the 90's. This was like the Rick Astley of Rock. It's like dude, you had a solid 10 years to rock out with your "you know what" out. And now you're 4 guys in hilarious outfits singing about some weak pop shite. I ended my listening to rock in the mid 80's as it was getting really stupid and their are many others genres to listen to.
