To anyone with jittering issues, check your binds on your controllers. Unbind rudder controls from everything except your pedals/intended control bind. I had rudder bound to some functions on my hotas and once I unbound them the rudder stopped jittering back to neutral.
I’m on Xbox and it’s quite jittery and I can’t get the perfect setting I have a Boeing tca yoke and throttle all connected to my Xbox and the pedals just don’t get to the perfect setting.
Man i was driving nuts with my rudder jittering... turns out it was my thrustmaster TCA sidestick twitching... i tried everything from updating drivers to re-re-calibrating. Turns out i just had to turn it off / set a bigger deadzone... Thank you so much ❤😅
Can you help, please? I have a lot of problems with my Thrustmaster TFRP Rudder Pedals. They work perfectly when used in bush trips flying but when I fly my own flight plans with any plane they behave very erratically. If I push any of the pedals the rudder deflects momentarily but returns to neutral immediately even when I keep my foot fully forward. When landing even if I don't touch the pedals the rudder flutters and quivers erratically so it becomes impossible to land safely. The brakes work perfectly. I have uninstalled the device and installed it with the latest driver FFB 2018 Version 2. In Controls options, the rudder is mapped to the Z-axis with the following sensitivity values: Sensitivity -74% both, Dead Zone 9%, Neutral 0%, Extremity 11% and reactivity 100%. I suspected some problems with the contact of the socket/plug but the fact that it works in bush trip flying makes me think that it is some software issue. Thanks in advance.
I don't have any experience with the TFRP Rudders, but I know one or 2 in our Discord use them; probably best asking in there (link to Discord in the description).
@@hoodyFPShey !! Just got it to work today, if you have a TCA sidestick from thrustmaster try to turn off in settings the rudder funcion or set up a bigger deadzone, even if you have it locked in the sidstick

@@hoodyFPS make sure (at least if you have the rudder pedals) that the entire thing is in the higher axis mode (iirc its 6/8 and 5/9 or something like that). tldr, make sure the white LED by the xbox button is not illuminated. this will "unlock"/enable each individual input to have its own axis for you to assign it. and from there, make sure you assign the pedals, the yoke, the throttle, to an AXIS and not like "rudder right", or "aileron left", or "increase throttle". it took me all this time to realize i've been screwing myself up by spamming that darn xbox button, not realizing i was changing the entire axis setup each time lmao there was this one time i had it all sorted out, did a short traffic pattern in the CJ4 around a local airport. brakes worked, rudder pedals worked, all control surfaces were working properly (including left/right toe brake). i come down for landing, and i have no rudder control, and veered smooth off the runway. then i took a good look at the manual, cross-referenced some posts on different forums and realized that the entire time i was causing myself the headache lmao. i wish i could map the button to something else but i may just end up desoldering it/disconnecting it though i have been ignoring it with utmost prejudice since i woke the hell up 🤣 good luck!
@@TeezyThaKidd Thank you for the reply. I’ll make sure to do that. I found a way to make them work which i believe is likely the root of many people’s issue. If you unbind the controller you don’t want to use then the rudder pedals work just fine.
@@hoodyFPS you can also have the stick rotation bound to the rudder axis in addition to the pedals! i personally don't have stick rotation bound to anything, its more of a nuisance to me. you can also lock the rotation using a tiny flathead eyeglass-size screwdriver to lock the screw on the side of the stick column. that way you have it unbound in the software and also no mechanical input anymore. wonderful thing i also learned the hard way (forums, instead of the manual lmao)
