@@chizo1205 Still salty about this. And no, he didn't go. He was basically told to leave. Martin wanted them to keep Ringmaster's name for the OG crew and have them use a different name for the new crew (as he was busy with job, wife n kid) with the new bass, but they didn't want any of it. Fucking F. Martin was the least replaceable of the bunch. Not that any of them was, but Martin? Nah. His basso profundo which still remained a warm sonorous tone at the lowest depths was pure joy to listen to.
Professional vocal ensembles often drift keys over time - in order to make a perfect “ringing chord” some of the notes turn slightly flat or sharp to make the ratios between the frequencies of the notes simpler (which leads to a tighter sound.) Sometimes the singers don’t hit the slightly detuned note right away and they have to move around a little to lock in, and sometimes they move to fit a person who’s out of tune and then from then on they’re all out of tune. This started in the original key but drifted down throughout the first half, haha :)
I thought the same thing lol. I always loved to sing the high A at the end as the tenor lead and noticed it was a completely different color when trying to sing along because it was an Ab
@@Graham_M they didn't start in the original key. In this video the song has been transposed half a semi tone down, we're in C# The original was a half step up in D.. Tested up against a piano right now but it was immediately clear to me that it was transposed down, even before testing..
6:46...."I gotcha, buddy! we are in it together...."
I thought 6:53 was some weird overtone
Just some lady in the crowd sliding up to the fifth blending perfectly with them.
That is hilarious!!
*The 5th
😂 I had to re-listen cuz I was singing through the first time lol that's awesome
Martin...If you see this? I hope you are well. You brought more men to this craft...Thank you!
Go watch the remastered version. The sound is amazing. Greatest quartets of all time imo
King Eris I actually think they sound even better here ,if that’s possible
@@MoominJude Totally agree, the ring at the end was nuts.
they released a new version with orchestra just yesterday....
2:28 that bass note. Good lord above that’s amazing!
that's nothing
Send some links fool. We want more videos like this
That standing 'O' was so fast and so deserved! Holy crap the energy through this entire piece was amazing!
2:17
音ハマりすぎて多分、5倍音が聴こえてる
長三和音になってる
That last chord is about as perfect and majestic as anything!
I love this recording because the voices are well balanced, the baritone can be heard and the bass is not too overpowering
Superb. Best male quartet ever. !
My favorite part is where the tenor and bass hold up the lead for the end note in the tag lolol
Just glorious!
Why is 5:12 so perfect? Also, Martin sounds more like the drums of Notre Dame than the bells of Notre Dame at 6:24.
Thank you for this upload! Would love it if you have more to share.
Rip Martin :(
What happend to him?
NytronFilms he is no longer apart of ringmasters. They announced it on their official instagram
@@splubber99 Oh, thats sad. I didn't know that...

Why is this in a different key lol
I think cuz it’s harder for them to sing it as high as they did before, especially for the lead posting

I'm guessing it wasn't meant to be funny, but I giggle a little bit when Emanuel says "church mass"
What is this quartet's name?
Ringmasters. They got a new bass (original left because he has a kid now) but same name.
@@lifeontheledgerlines8394 Ok
@@lifeontheledgerlines8394 He has one child, I believe.
