Looks like you 2 had a good weekend, some nice looking Smokey’s and the topaz are also very cool. Are the blue ones topaz or aqua. Only been to Torrington once, we drove through to Blatheram Camp Ground to see what was there and haven’t had a chance to get there since.

      Thanks silverback :)
Umm the blue ones I’m not to sure, I thought topaz but could be aqua.
Yeah we stayed at blatheram’s then went exploring. Good little spot but I’d like to explore it more and find those spots that are off gird haha

I’m sure people have told you, but the blue-green ones are most likely topaz

Yeah that’s what we thought :) don’t think they’re big enough to do anything with but still nice to have :)

      Hey Terry,
      Thanks for the comment :)
Crystal hunters including myself spend hundreds of hours researching and exploring to find spots. We don’t publicly give them up as all the hard work went in to finding them. However I have named the areas we were in and after a google search you should be able to find locations fairly easily. But you have to ask yourself the question, what are you looking for? Start with that then research based on that. If you’re wanting agates go to creeks that are around ancient volcanoes for instance.
If you’re wanting sapphires go out to Inverell and go to the information centre, they can show you on a map where there are fossicking spots, that’s a good place to start :)

that trip to Tabulam was worth doing. with only a cupla hours to have look. I'd be like"just one more dig, just a few more minutes" One eternity later----------

very cool, i did a quick weekend recon at Tabulam 2 weeks ago and got a little bit of gold and some clear crystal but the smoky was not very good, planning another trip later as that was my first time there. love what guys found though

Saw your video :) It’s a good spot hey. I did some prospecting there awhile ago but found nothing with my gold monster. I may take my pans down next time and see what I can find :)
