According to Islam, mother Mary is from the lineage of Moses and Arun. She was not the actual sister, as this jewish rabbi correctly said there is a big age gap. In ancient Semitic usage, a person’s name was often linked with that of a renowned ancestor or founder of the tribal line. Thus, for instance, a man of the tribe of Banu Tamim was sometimes addressed as “son of Tamim” or “brother of Tamim.” Since Mary belonged to the priestly caste, and hence descended from Aaron, the brother of Moses, she was called a “sister of Aaron,” in the same way as her cousin Elizabeth, the wife of Zachariah, is spoken of in Luke 1:5 as one of “the daughters of Aaron.” Hope this clarifies there is no mistake in the islamic texts.

That's certainly one way of looking at this angel of Hashem figure, but He's always closely connected to God Himself...almost like it's a theophany, a very manifestation of God, in a way that human beings can handle (without being consumed by death.) Come on Rabbi, do a better job. You know that absolutely no Muslims consider Moses or Aaron to be literal uncles of Mary. It is figurative according to all interpretations. In fact, the bible refers to Mary , as the daughter of Aaron, yet people don't take that literally. The Quran refers to Mary, upon her be peace, as the “sister of Aaron” in reference to her descent from the lineage of the Prophet Aaron, upon him be peace. This type of reference is common in ancient Semitic languages and in the Bible. Surah Maryam 19:28 The Christians at the time of the Prophet objected to this verse on the grounds that it was meant literally, but the Prophet answered their question. Mughira ibn Shu’ba reported: When I came to Najran, the Christian monks asked me, “You recite the verse: O sister of Aaron (19:28), whereas Moses was born long before Jesus by such-and-such years.” When I came back to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, I asked him about it and he said: إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا يُسَمُّونَ بِأَنْبِيَائِهِمْ وَالصَّالِحِينَ قَبْلَهُمْ Verily, they would name people with the names of prophets and righteous people who had gone before them. Joseph raised Jesus, fed him, looked after him and was his earthly father in everything except blood. The relationship is ritualistic rather than physical in the same sense as when Jesus said 'Who is my mother? and who are my brethren? And he stretched forth his hand toward his disciples, and said, Behold my mother and my brethren! For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother.' Similarly, when John the Baptist saw the sign that identified Jesus he said, '“I need to be baptized by you, and do you come to me?” Jesus replied, “Let it be so now; it is proper for us to do this to fulfill all righteousness.”' Similarly Abraham's slaves are circumcised and enter the covenant. Similarly gentiles come into the covenant not from blood but from spirit.

Here are some examples often cited as contradictions or inconsistencies: 1. Creation Accounts: Genesis presents two accounts of creation in chapters 1 and 2, which differ in their order and method of creation. For instance, Genesis 1 describes the creation of plants and animals before humans, while Genesis 2 seems to suggest humans were created before plants and animals. 2. Noah’s Ark and the Flood: The story of Noah’s Ark presents varying details, such as the number of each type of animal taken into the ark (one pair of each kind in Genesis 6:19, seven pairs of clean animals and one pair of unclean animals in Genesis 7:2). 3. The Ten Commandments: The commandments listed in Exodus 20 and Deuteronomy 5 have slight differences in wording and emphasis. 4. Moses’ Father-in-Law: Moses’ father-in-law is referred to as Reuel in Exodus 2:18 and as Jethro in other parts of Exodus. 5. The Number of Israelites: The number of Israelites who went to Egypt (70 in Genesis 46:27) seems to contradict the number given in a similar account in Exodus 1:5 (75 people). 6. King David’s Census: The account of King David’s census differs between 2 Samuel 24 and 1 Chronicles 21, particularly regarding who incited David to conduct the census (God in 2 Samuel, Satan in 1 Chronicles) and the numbers of the census. 7. The Death of Saul: The manner of King Saul’s death is inconsistently reported. 1 Samuel 31 suggests Saul killed himself by falling on his sword, while 2 Samuel 1 reports that an Amalekite killed Saul at his request. 8. Contrasting Proverbs: Some proverbs seem to offer contradictory advice, like Proverbs 26:4-5, which first advises not to answer a fool according to his folly, and then suggests answering a fool as his folly deserves. 9. God’s Nature and Actions: Various passages describe differing characteristics of God, such as God being seen (Genesis 32:30; Exodus 33:11) and God not being seen (John 1:18; 1 Timothy 6:16). 10. The Ages of the Patriarchs: There are discrepancies in the ages of biblical figures in different parts of the Old Testament, particularly in the ages at which they had children or died
@@kavkazEagle77 The Bible refers to the rulers of Egypt during the time of Joseph as “Pharaoh”. In the Quran, the ruler of Egypt during Joseph’s time is referred to as a “king” and not a “pharaoh” . The term “pharaoh” is not used to refer to someone before the New Kingdom Period. The ruler of Egypt during the time of Moses is referred to as “pharaoh”. The Quran is not a copy of the Torah. The Quran also affirms the authenticity of the Torah as a divine revelation. However, the Quran also contains verses that suggest that some of the laws and practices of the Torah have been abrogated or superseded by the Quran. For example, Quran 2:106 states that “We do not abrogate a verse or cause it to be forgotten except that We bring forth [one] better than it or similar to it”. This verse has been interpreted by some scholars to mean that some of the laws and practices of the Torah have been replaced by the Quran.

The instructions and even how to write the torah scroll and how to read it acc to what punctuation, was and is all part of the oral torah. The talmud is a commentary of the mishna. The mishna is a abridged compilation of instructions on how to uphold the vague laws of the torah. As we are commanded in Deut 17 verses 10-13, we must, by God's instruction, listen to the torah sages and head judges that were in the Temple Court. All Jewish law today (except for 18 laws which the courts ruled like Shamai) go according to the head judge of the temple court Hillel the Elder, a century + before the 2nd temple was conquered etc. The talmud contains countless word for word teachings from the temple courts going back to the great assembly whom the prophets were part of at the beginning of the 2nd temple era. So, yes, the talmud has countless of things passed down directly from Moses as it clarifies "this is halacha from Moshe from Sinai". Seek truth.
Very true. The Torah and the 'New Testament' are not compatible at all. But Christians don't realise this as they only look at the specific verses in their Old Testament their Church tells them to and don't know anything about the rest. Crazy given that it constitutes two thirds of their Bible.
@@Yehonatan613that's what you say. The talmud was a interpretation of God's law, which needs little. Gods law is clear and self explanatory and needs no interpretation on how to follow through with. The talmud is rabbinical work, man, not the word of God.
Is that why Torah was changed LOL. Fourth, the data shows that the rabbis have changed their interpretation of the Hebrew word “mashiah” because they have rejected Jesus Christ and want to avoid the appearance that Jesus fulfills this prophecy. But the ancient Jews who lived before the time of Jesus had a different understanding than the modern day rabbis. Rabbis today refuse to accept the historic understanding of the prophecy that existed before Christ was born, was crucified, and resurrected because they reject Jesus Christ as the Messiah. The truth is Jesus fulfilled the prophecies of Psalm 2:2; Daniel 9:24-26; and Micah 5:2.

His mother’s name was Athaliah the granddaughter of Omri, king of Israel. 2 Chronicles 22:2 Ahaziah was forty-two years old when he became king, and he reigned one year in Jerusalem. His mother’s name was Athaliah the granddaughter of Omri.
Even Christian scholars have agreed upon a non-conflicting reading of these two passages. 2 Chronicles was most likely referring to the dynasty age, not of Ahaziah himself. He came to rule in the 42nd year of the Omri dynasty

We need to be absolutely clear who exactly "The Chosen People” WERE, not who the chosen people are. The chosen people were the prophet Abraham, peace be upon him, and his God-fearing, righteous descendants. Not the sinning and evil ones. The chosen people were the God-fearing, righteous descendants of prophet Moses, prophet Solomon, prophet David, prophet Jacob, prophet Joseph, prophet Ismael, and prophet Isaac, peace be upon them all. Not the sinning and evil descendants. After the attempted crucifixion and attempted murder of Jesus Christ. The covenant was terminated forever. Allah cursed the Israelites forever. And cursed them out of the Holy Land until Judgement Day. This is why the Israelites have been unsuccessful in creating a peaceful, harmonious Land of Israel for 3,000 years. Allah will not allow it to happen because of the curse. Allah then passed the covenant to Muhammad, peace be upon him, and warned his ummah (nation) that if they too sinned and disobeyed Allah, Allah would then punish and curse Muslims too, just like he punished and cursed the Israelites in the past. But Muslims don’t boast they are the “Chosen People.” Muslims don’t believe in racial supremacy or ethnic supremacy. They believe in total submission and humility before Allah. Rabbi and audience; here is the correct explanation for the genealogies in the New Testament: The Two Genealogies (Chuck Missler, K House) The Bible provides us with two lengthy genealogies of Christ. Matthew, as a Levite, focuses on the Messiahship of Jesus in that he traces the legal line from Abraham (thought to be the first Jew) through David, then Solomon and the royal line, to Joseph, the legal father of Jesus (Matthew 1:1-17) and the husband of Mary. Luke, as a physician, focuses on the humanity of Jesus. He traces the blood line from Adam (the Son of God versus us, the sons of Adam) and once Luke gets to Abraham, the genealogy is identical to Matthew’s up to the House of David. Then Luke goes from David, through Nathan (a different son of David) to Mary, the mother of Jesus (Luke 3:23-38).
What about Zechariah 1:18 and the 4 horns that scattered Judah, Israel, and Jerusalem history shows only three, Assyrian, Babylon, and Rome, who is the fourth and when
Matthew's list of names refers to Joseph's lineage, (said to be relevant because he became the adopted father of Jesus.) It's not an exhaustive lineage (leaving out some "less important" names in order to fit into the "14 generations " listed. It's interesting to note that 14, 14 and 14 listed in Mathew,'s "generations" correspond to Dalet (4) Vav (6) and Dalet (4)--that's 14--and gives us the name David. Luke's genealogy of Jesus is believed to be from Mary. Together, they are believed to link Jesus directly to David and the royal line, and bring fulfillment to Genesis 3:15 (seed of the woman.) Don't shoot me...I'm just the messenger.
We know a New Covenant was prophesied to be given (Jeremiah 31:31-34). This New Covenant would have been given at some point after Judah returned from the Babylonian Exile (Jeremiah 50:1-5). The New Covenant would have provided atonement for the nation's sins (Ezekiel 16:59-63) after the Old Covenant was broken (Hosea 8:1, Jeremiah 11:10, Deuteronomy 31:16, 1 Kings 19:10). Rabbi Alexandri explains: if the Jewish people merit redemption, the Messiah will come on the clouds of Heaven. If the Jewish people do not merit redemption, the Messiah will come lowly and riding upon a donkey. (Sanhedrin 98A - Talmud) The Messiah comes once upon a donkey (Zechariah 9:9, John 12:14-15) to provide atonement and begin a New Covenant for a sinful generation (Ezekiel 16:59-63, Luke 22:20). And once via the clouds (Daniel 7:13, Matthew 26:64 -> Luke 21:23-27).

Why does the Quran call Mary the sister of Aaron Yes, in the Quran 19:28, Mary is addressed as sister of Aaron. Mary was a descendant of Aaron, Moses' brother; so, the title sister of Aaron was given her as a reference to her lineage. O sister of Aaron, your father was not a man of evil, nor was your mother unchaste. Sahih International translation: Quran 19:28: O sister of Aaron, your father was not a man of evil, nor was your mother unchaste Pickthall translation: Quran 19:28: O sister of Aaron! Thy father was not a wicked man nor was thy mother a harlot Yusuf Ali translation: Quran 19:28: "O sister of Aaron! Thy father was not a man of evil, nor thy mother a woman unchaste. Shakir translation: Quran 19:28: O sister of Haroun! your father was not a bad man, nor, was your mother an unchaste woman. Muhammad Sarwar: Quran 19:28: Aaron's sister, your father was not a bad man nor was your mother unchaste". The Sister of Aaron misconception. Quran says when the people of Mary saw her with the infant Jesus, they questioned her about the child and one of them said to her "O [Mary] sister of Aaron, your father was not a man of evil, nor was your mother unchaste.” Quran 19:28. Hence people say that the author of the Qur'an has confused Miriam the sister of Aaron with Mary, the mother of Jesus who lived centuries apart. Let's see what is the matter here?. In the days of Jesus and Prophet Muhammad and even now in the Arabian peninsula, people address each other by the name of their pious ancestors. That's the reason you see the Bible addressing Jesus in several places as "the son of David" (Matthew 9:27), though we know David was not the father of Jesus. Another example is addressing the jews as "the children of Israel", we all know they are not the actual children of Israel which is another name of Jacob, but they are from his progeny. Mughira ibn Shu'ba reported: When I came to Najran, the Christian Monks asked me, “You recite the verse, ‘O sister of Aaron, (19:28)' but Moses was born long before Jesus by many years”?. When I came back to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, I asked him about it and he said, “Verily, they would name people with the names of prophets and righteous people who had passed before them.”(Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 2135). Let's see that from the Bible . In Genesis 14:14 and 14:16, Lot is referred to as Abraham's brother, even though He was actually Abraham's nephew. (KJV version). In John 8:37, Jesus tells to the disciples that I know that you are descendants of Abraham. In verse 39 They answered Him, “Abraham is our father”. Jesus said to them, “If you were Abraham’s children, you would do what Abraham did"....

Well, I am an atheist, and I agree with you about how silly Christianity is! For Islam, they do not believe that Haron, brother of Moses, is Jesus uncle. Ya okht Haron means in Arabic. She is from Haron Tree, or she may have a brother named Haroon. There is nothing in the Quran saying that Haron, brother of Moses, is her uncle. You have to know Arabic to be able to translate the Quran. Semetic language is very beautiful when you read it the way it is. Like Hebrew Thank you

They changed Torah. The truth is Jesus fulfilled the prophecies of Psalm 2:2; Daniel 9:24-26; and Micah 5:2. ua-cam.com/video/NH7-r0_4ssg/v-deo.html
@alaincartier8919 to be the messiah you have to fulfill every single prophecy. If you fulfill 99 percent and don't fulfill 1 percent, you're a false messiah. In the case of Jesus whom you call christ, he hasn't even come close to fulfilling 99 percent of the prophecies. Interesting that people who descend from pagans in Europe think they have more knowledge of a scripture that was given to a semitic group and kept with them for centuries. When Yeshayahu HaNavi describes the messianic age in chapter 2 vs 4 of his book you know it wasn't fulfilled during the time of your christ but becuase you love him so much you'll act like it did or come up with mental gymnastics as to why it didn't.
I understand that you don't know how to interpret the New Testament, but Rabbi, you don't understand the Old Testament either Psalm 22 of King David 16 Dogs surround me, a pack of villains encircles me; they pierce my hands and my feet. 17 All my bones are on display; people stare and gloat over me. 18 They divide my clothes among them and cast lots for my garment. Zechariah 12:1 10 “And I will pour out on the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem a spirit of grace and supplication. They will look on me, the one they have pierced, and they will mourn for him as one mourns for an only child, and grieve bitterly for him as one grieves for a firstborn son. Isaiah 14 Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign: The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and will call him Immanuel. 15 He will be eating curds and honey when he knows enough to reject the wrong and choose the right, Jeremiah 19 Yet I was like a trusting lamb led to slaughter, not knowing that they were hatching plots against me: “Let us destroy the tree in its vigor; let us cut him off from the land of the living, so that his name will no longer be remembered.” Isaiah 52:13-53:12 The Suffering and Glory of the Servant 13 See, my servant will act wisely he will be raised and lifted up and highly exalted. 14 Just as there were many who were appalled at him his appearance was so disfigured beyond that of any human being and his form marred beyond human likeness 15 so he will sprinkle many nations and kings will shut their mouths because of him. For what they were not told, they will see, and what they have not heard, they will understand. Isaiah53 3 He was despised and rejected by men, a man of sorrows, and familiar with suffering. Like one from whom men hide their faces he was despised, and we esteemed him not. 4 Surely he took up our infirmities and carried our sorrows, yet we considered him stricken by God, smitten by him, and afflicted. 5 But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed. 6 We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to his own way; and the LORD has laid on him the iniquity of us all. 7 He was oppressed and afflicted, yet he did not open his mouth; he was led like a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is silent, so he did not open his mouth. 8 By oppression [1] and judgment he was taken away. And who can speak of his descendants? For he was cut off from the land of the living; for the transgression of my people he was stricken. [2] 9 He was assigned a grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death, though he had done no violence, nor was any deceit in his mouth. 10 Yet it was the LORD's will to crush him and cause him to suffer, and though the LORD makes [3] his life a guilt offering, he will see his offspring and prolong his days, and the will of the LORD will prosper in his hand. 11 After the suffering of his soul, he will see the light [of life] [4] and be satisfied [5] ; by his knowledge [6] my righteous servant will justify many, and he will bear their iniquities. 12 Therefore I will give him a portion among the great, [7] and he will divide the spoils with the strong, [8] because he poured out his life unto death, and was numbered with the transgressors. For he bore the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.
Everyone is from two lineages. The lineage recorded in Matthew goes through King David to Joseph, the husband of Mary. The lineage recorded in Luke goes through King David to Heli, the father of Mary.
Doesn't matter... Luke is not reliable source... Joseph is not the father of Jesus so it doesn't matter. And even if Mary is from the lineage of King David, she is not from the lineage of King Solomon.
@@tryme3969 The same can be said about the Talmud that Christians hate so much... I haven't read neither of those books btw. But again, Joseph is not the father of Jesus so it wouldn't matter EVEN if King David was the father OF Joseph. And Mary is a woman, In the bible, rights are inherited by the biological father; Priesthood, Land, and tribe. All those things have to be inherited from the biological father, not an adopting father and not a woman. The only thing that the woman determines is whether her child will be a Jew or not. And if I'm not wrong, Luke doesn't mention in the first place the lineage of Mary, only of Joseph...
@@achilles7607 The God of Abraham Issac and Jacob is His biological father, for some reason you seem to think that He's a basterd because of that. The last person mentioned in the lineage of Jesus Christ according to Luke is Heli, the father of Mary or Adam, the son of God depending on which way you read it.
@@tryme3969 Of course I think he's a bastard. It's Idolatrous to believe he is the son of God and it's blasphemous to say it. How can he be both the Messiah and God?
We, the Christians always respect and love the jews in our teachings. never heard of anyone talk bad about Judaism. This is a rabbi, calling Jesus, names and the rest are nonsense are pathetic. I think this rabbi needs to learn to clean his heart and his mouth. Teachings this way is not reflecting any good, peace or respect towards each other but hate in my opinion. No wonder there are no peace these days. No wonder, so many people hate the jews. Now I understand. This clearly shows and change my perspective.Sometimes, blindly stand with someone is not a good idea.
G-d encourages us to mock idols and the deluded people who worship them. If you're going to worshp idols and false gods, you need to be prepared to be mocked by the people who actually worship the One G-d! If you don't want to be offended, then stop offending G-d with your idolatry. 😆
"The New Testament" is full of mistakes" what mistakes?🤔. He didn't show no one. Actually the New Testament has no mistakes and it is strongly supported by evidences from history and archeology. It is tge Hebrew Bible itself that says the messiah Will be God incarned and he Will be born of a virgin. That's not an invention of the New Testament. That's prophesied in the Hebrew Bible. Joseph. Joseph is not Jesus' biological father because Jesus does not have a biological father but he is the person God chose to be his adoptive father on Earth and raise him together with Mary. Christians do not try to link Jesus with David. The New Testament simply recounts Jesus' family tree to prove that he is the Messiah. There are different names because they are two different genealogies. Mary was also a descendant of David, not just Joseph The "first Christians" were jews. So stop saying nonsense.
Man aint that bright. Is he. Jews dont have a problem with the statement that 'The Messiah will be a son of David' when they are thousands of years apart. But they have a problem with the Quranic statement that 'Mariam is the sister of Aaron'. Because they are centuries apart. Well this is the smartest Rabbi i have encounted...imagine the others
Mary's (the mother of Jesus) father was from the family of Amram and Mary's mother was from the family of Aaron. That is why Mary was called the Daughter of Amram and sister of Aaron in the Quran. Mary's father has direct relation that extends to Solomon and David.

Problem with this priest is that he does not give any references when talking about the Quran and new testament. Wonder about the level of his knowledge. Appears shallow.
There is one who also knows about Torah but the only difference is that He trembles, the Devil Himself. But the jews who reject Yeshua Jesus Bible says ‘But their minds were made dull, for to this day the same veil remains when the old covenant is read. It has not been removed, because only in Messiah Christ is it taken away.’
Tehillim chapter 2 says that the Gentiles will stand against Hashem and his Mashiach. Then they will be chastised. They will be shattered with iron rods. There is not a word there about Jews rejecting Mashiach.
@@akivatalansky Isaiah says the rulers of the world will be shocked when they finally see the light and discover that Israel was Hashem’s suffering servant all this time.
Mary and Joseph were related. They’re both descendants of David. So it doesn’t matter if Joseph wasn’t Jesus’ biological father because Joseph and Mary still come from the same bloodline.
Each soul is a spark of the divine that was once one in mind and heart with God. The Zohar says when the creature realized it was being loved infinitely and didn't deserve it it burst into 600k particles of light. Kaballah is about reuniting all the particles of light to be one person, one with God. Each particle is a piece or God having a schizophrenic episode. We go from life to life until we realize our divinity and become one with God. Jesus was Elijah and died, became one with God and returned "as God" to show man the way. Just as Ram, Buddha and Krishna etc. They are all God showing us that we are all God. This is the message of mystics of every religion in all times everywhere in the world. For the Rabbi to insult another religion shows his ignorance and hard heartedness. I will remind you Rabbi, the Torah says, 'bearing false witness is a mortal sin "! We doesn't anyone look at all religions and see the enlightened always say the same thing, "if we dive into our hearts, into our souls, we come to a place where there is no longer any you, only God". I get the negative reaction to fundamentalist christians but remember that's the same reaction to fundamentalist Jews and Muslims. The problem isn't any religion it extremism. Jesus commentary on the Torah was "if it not about love then you have gone off course." Rabbi, you're off course.
However there are several other people who were left out of the genealogy. Matthew 1:8 skips over Ahaziah, Athaliah, Jehoash, and Amaziah, two of whom were kings of Judah and all are well documented by other sources. Begat can also mean grandfather of and skipping unimportant generations is not uncommon in ancient genealogies. See Matthew 1:8 for a full discussion on why these four may have been left out. It may appear duplicitous to claim that there were fourteen generations, when in fact there were eighteen. This verse is not in error, as it is not a description of the actual genealogy, but simply of the list that was presented in the Gospel. The author of Matthew had good reason to drop the names he did and to skip unnecessary ancestors. The instructions in this verse are to aid in the memorization of Matthew's version of the genealogy, not the historical list of decedents. By tradition the first period from Abraham to David always had fourteen names, so the author of Matthew simply cut unneeded names from the other two sections to create an easily memorized triple structure. A transcriber skipping similar names in a list is a common error known as homoioteleuton.

According to Islam and the Quran, Aaron and Moses are not the uncles of Jesus, but as you may quite well know, the expression "O daughter of Aaron" was related to a common way of naming people according to their noble ancestors and Prophets. The Prophet Muhammed himself had a wife of Jewish origins, Safiyyah bint Huyayy. And when a lady had insulted her because of such origins and she was crying, he consoled her by wiping her tears and saying: "Certainly, you are the daughter of a Prophet, Aaron, your uncle is a Prophet, Moses, and you are married to a Prophet, Muhammad; so what is she boasting to you about?" (Jami’ al Tirmidhi, 3894). Didn't the Prophet Muhammed really know that his own wife wasn't the direct daughter of Aaron? Come on! If a Jew calls me a cousin, I know he doesn't intend to say that his father is my uncle, but he is respecting me by pointing to our common relation to Abraham, and I always feel very honored to hear that from my Jewish friends.

Another example is addressing the jews as "the children of Israel", we all know they are not the actual children of Israel which is another name of Jacob, but they are from his progeny. ua-cam.com/video/-AxrqmJKPn8/v-deo.html

Such nonsense what all do respect. The Gospels, such as Mark, Matthew, and Luke, were authored BEFORE the fall of the Second Temple, likely between 30-70 CE and not after !!
they were authored multiple generations after the death of Jesus. More than likely, they were written by pro-Roman sympathizers or Roman officials. As the gospels get later and later chronologically, they become more anti-Jew and pro-Rome. The theology of the gospels also does not harmonize with the writings of Paul. They are just different theologically.

The Creator Master of the Universe gave the Torah at mount sinai infront of millions of people, millions of 1st hand witnesses. The entire Torah is about the lives of the people recieving the Torah, it details all the miracles and plagues they saw with their own eyes in egypt, at mount sinai, and in the desert for 40 years. If even 1 person who recieved the torah would deny what is written in it, ie: that the claims in it were not accurate, then you would know its not a divine book. God doesn't come to millions of people and tell them they witnessed something that their eyes did not actually witness. The people receiving the Torah would say "excuse me, when did this plague happen? When did the ocean split? I didn't see any of this! Why are you telling me and this whole people that these things happened to us when they didn't" The fact that everyone who recieved the Torah verified everything written in it as factual about their own lives and what their (3 million + people) own eyes witnessed is a seal to its divine origin/truth. No one would make themselves look like a fool coming to millions of people telling them "God gave me this book and it's about you and what you experienced" when none of it happened etc. Who knows better than them what actually and really happened? No one. Jewish people have an unbroken chain back to mount sinai.
In islam you do not have such a thing. The koran isn't a book that depicts any miracles that happened to them, because nothing happened to them, there are 0 witnesses, just wishful belief in one man's claims "i was alone in the desert and the angel gabriel came and spoke to me" [even if it were true, (and it isn't), revelation of angels is not prophecy, read hebrew scripture, God speaking directly to a person, that's prophecy, many people encountered angels and were not prophets, just more and more confused terminoloy by muslims]. Are there any prophecies in the koran? Zero. Copying prophecies from Hebrew scriptures is not called prophecy, even a newspaper can copy prophecies from hebrew scriptures, it doesn't make the author of the newspaper a prophet nor the newspaper a holy script. Show one new prophecy, there's NONE. Why? If he was a prophet why not even one? Because mohammed knew of himself that he wasn't a prophet. If a person knew of himself to not actually be a prophet but wants to propose that he is and give a book, he would never take a risk of giving prophecies of future events at the expense of risking exposing his being a false prophet. Why take such a ego defeating risk? Instead mohammed took a sword and whomever didnt believe in his claims he.... 👏👏👏. That's not only how islam started, but its the same religion after 1400 years. The same thing that happened on the 1st day of islam is happening now but by millions of people.
1] What's the question my friend? Unlike islam which tries to make its "prophet" seem perfect, the Torah does not cover for anybody, it tells us the mistakes of even Moses, King Solomon and the entire Jewish people. And if the torah tells us about the event of Lot & his daughters it is to show among many things A] the impure beginnings of the nations Moav and Amon (nations which later caused a lot of trouble, moav specifically with immorality in Numbers 24 & 25), and B] to show us again as it showed us by Noach, how dangerous wine can be.
2] The book of genesis is the book of genetics, it tells us the genetics of the nations, of ishmael, of eisav, of moav and amon, and of Jacob and his descendants etc. We have manuscripts of the torah that predate the birth of jesus and other ancient scrolls too, the dead-sea scrolls and the masada scrolls, and its the same torah as we have today.
The gospel and Torah of God was given to Abraham, due to sin an amendment was given to Moses, both covenants were brought together by Jesus fulfilling the Torah.

No. According to the Quran, Moses and Aaron are **not** the uncles of Jesus. The Quran mentions that Mary, the mother of Jesus, was the daughter of Imran, but this is not the same Imran who was the father of Moses and Aaron. The Quran also confirms that there were many hundreds of years between Moses and Jesus. The Quran does not say that Jesus had any uncles from his mother's side. The Quran also does not say that Jesus had any uncles from his father's side, because the Quran does not recognize Joseph as the father of Jesus. The Quran says that Jesus was born miraculously by the will of God, without a human father. The Quran calls Jesus the son of Mary, the messenger of God, and the word of God. The Quran also warns against saying that God is one of three, or that Jesus is the son of God. The Quran respects Jesus as a great prophet, but not as a divine being.
According to Islam, mother Mary is from the lineage of Moses and Arun. She was not the actual sister, as this jewish rabbi correctly said there is a big age gap. In ancient Semitic usage, a person’s name was often linked with that of a renowned ancestor or founder of the tribal line. Thus, for instance, a man of the tribe of Banu Tamim was sometimes addressed as “son of Tamim” or “brother of Tamim.” Since Mary belonged to the priestly caste, and hence descended from Aaron, the brother of Moses, she was called a “sister of Aaron,” in the same way as her cousin Elizabeth, the wife of Zachariah, is spoken of in Luke 1:5 as one of “the daughters of Aaron.”
Hope this clarifies there is no mistake in the islamic texts.

There's a book I've been meaning to get, that I'm told deals with this enigmatic figure and his relation to God. (Metatron? Jesus?) I believe it's called "Bodies of God "by Dr. Benjamin Sommer. I think it's worth looking at.

O sister of Aaron!Thy father was not a wicked man, nor was thy mother a loose woman!"
- surah Maryam, verse 28
Close footnote commentary :
Footnote :
In ancient Semitic usage, a person's name was often linked with that of a renowned ancestor or founder of the tribal line. Thus, for instance, a man of the tribe of Banu Tamim was sometimes addressed as "son of Tamim" or "brother of Tamim". Since Mary belonged to the priestly caste, and hence descended from Aaron, the brother of Moses, she was called a "sister of Aaron" (in the same way as her cousin Elisabeth. the wife of Zachariah, is spoken of in Luke i, 5, as one "of the daughters of Aaron").
Come on Rabbi, do a better job.
Allah said:
يَا أُخْتَ هَارُونَ مَا كَانَ أَبُوكِ امْرَأَ سَوْءٍ وَمَا كَانَتْ أُمُّكِ بَغِيًّا
O sister of Aaron, your father was not a man of evil, nor was your mother unchaste.
Surah Maryam 19:28
The Christians at the time of the Prophet objected to this verse on the grounds that it was meant literally, but the Prophet answered their question.
Mughira ibn Shu’ba reported: When I came to Najran, the Christian monks asked me, “You recite the verse: O sister of Aaron (19:28), whereas Moses was born long before Jesus by such-and-such years.” When I came back to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, I asked him about it and he said:
إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا يُسَمُّونَ بِأَنْبِيَائِهِمْ وَالصَّالِحِينَ قَبْلَهُمْ

Torah is not corrupted but Jews are.
Why ?

Here are some examples often cited as contradictions or inconsistencies:

Not the sinning and evil descendants. After the attempted crucifixion and attempted murder of Jesus Christ. The covenant was terminated forever. Allah cursed the Israelites forever. Greetings from Uzbekistan!
Rabbi and audience; here is the correct explanation for the genealogies in the New Testament:
The Two Genealogies (Chuck Missler, K House)
The Bible provides us with two lengthy genealogies of Christ.
What about Zechariah 1:18 and the 4 horns that scattered Judah, Israel, and Jerusalem history shows only three, Assyrian, Babylon, and Rome, who is the fourth and when
🤔
(Sanhedrin 98A - Talmud)
The Messiah comes once upon a donkey (Zechariah 9:9, John 12:14-15) to provide atonement and begin a New Covenant for a sinful generation (Ezekiel 16:59-63, Luke 22:20). And once via the clouds (Daniel 7:13, Matthew 26:64 -> Luke 21:23-27).

Why does the Quran call Mary the sister of Aaron
Yes, in the Quran 19:28, Mary is addressed as sister of Aaron. Mary was a descendant of Aaron, Moses' brother; so, the title sister of Aaron was given her as a reference to her lineage. O sister of Aaron, your father was not a man of evil, nor was your mother unchaste.
Sahih International translation: Quran 19:28: O sister of Aaron, your father was not a man of evil, nor was your mother unchaste
Pickthall translation: Quran 19:28: O sister of Aaron! Thy father was not a wicked man nor was thy mother a harlot
Yusuf Ali translation: Quran 19:28: "O sister of Aaron!
Another example is addressing the jews as "the children of Israel",
we all know they are not the actual children of Israel which is another name of Jacob, but they are from his progeny.

Similarly, the wide usage of the Hebrew word ’achôwth, the equivalent of Arabic ukhtun, meaning "sister", is also attested in the Hebrew Bible.

They changed Torah. The truth is Jesus fulfilled the prophecies of Psalm 2:2; Daniel 9:24-26; and Micah 5:2. ua-cam.com/video/NH7-r0_4ssg/v-deo.html
I understand that you don't know how to interpret the New Testament, but Rabbi, you don't understand the Old Testament either
Psalm 22 of King David
16 Dogs surround me,
a pack of villains encircles me;
they pierce my hands and my feet.
17 All my bones are on display;
people stare and gloat over me.
18 They divide my clothes among them
and cast lots for my garment.
Zechariah 12:1
10 “And I will pour out on the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem a spirit of grace and supplication. They will look on me, the one they have pierced, and they will mourn for him as one mourns for an only child, and grieve bitterly for him as one grieves for a firstborn son.
Isaiah
14 Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign: The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and will call him Immanuel.
15 He will be eating curds and honey when he knows enough to reject the wrong and choose the right,
Jeremiah
19
Yet I was like a trusting lamb led to slaughter, not knowing that they were hatching plots against me: “Let us destroy the tree in its vigor; let us cut him off from the land of the living, so that his name will no longer be remembered.”
Isaiah 52:13-53:12
The Suffering and Glory of the Servant
13 See, my servant will act wisely
he will be raised and lifted up and highly exalted.
14 Just as there were many who were appalled at him
his appearance was so disfigured beyond that of any human being
and his form marred beyond human likeness
15 so he will sprinkle many nations
and kings will shut their mouths because of him.
For what they were not told, they will see,
and what they have not heard, they will understand.
Isaiah53
3
He was despised and rejected by men, a man of sorrows, and familiar with suffering. Like one from whom men hide their faces he was despised, and we esteemed him not.
4
Surely he took up our infirmities and carried our sorrows, yet we considered him stricken by God, smitten by him, and afflicted.
5
But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed.
6
We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to his own way; and the LORD has laid on him the iniquity of us all.
7
He was oppressed and afflicted, yet he did not open his mouth; he was led like a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is silent, so he did not open his mouth.
8
By oppression [1] and judgment he was taken away. And who can speak of his descendants? For he was cut off from the land of the living; for the transgression of my people he was stricken. [2]
9
He was assigned a grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death, though he had done no violence, nor was any deceit in his mouth.
10
Yet it was the LORD's will to crush him and cause him to suffer, and though the LORD makes [3] his life a guilt offering, he will see his offspring and prolong his days, and the will of the LORD will prosper in his hand.
11
After the suffering of his soul, he will see the light [of life] [4] and be satisfied [5] ; by his knowledge [6] my righteous servant will justify many, and he will bear their iniquities.
12
Therefore I will give him a portion among the great, [7] and he will divide the spoils with the strong, [8] because he poured out his life unto death, and was numbered with the transgressors.
@achilles7607 To you, Luke is not a reliable source, but somehow, his record is still withstanding the test of time.

The same can be said about the Talmud that Christians hate so much...
I haven't read neither of those books btw.
But again, Joseph is not the father of Jesus so it wouldn't matter EVEN if King David was the father OF Joseph.
And Mary is a woman,
In the bible, rights are inherited by the biological father; Priesthood, Land, and tribe.

I think this rabbi needs to learn to clean his heart and his mouth. Teachings this way is not reflecting any good, peace or respect towards each other but hate in my opinion. @yosefbenavraham actually there are a lot of subjects and objects to mock your "god" but no need to be as low as you imo.
Mary was also a descendant of David, not just Joseph
The "first Christians" were jews.
"Son" insinuates lineage. "Sister" does not. This is your best response?
Mary's (the mother of Jesus) father was from the family of Amram and Mary's mother was from the family of Aaron. That is why Mary was called the Daughter of Amram and sister of Aaron in the Quran. Mary's father has direct relation that extends to Solomon and David.
Don't make fun of others religion.
That's who they are 😂😂
why did I hear that you said the law about idol worship is also for non Jews ? No it’s not and don’t use our flag (israel) while saying such bs it’s not even a law we use on ourselves
Problem with this priest is that he does not give any references when talking about the Quran and new testament.
Wonder about the level of his knowledge.

Ironically, the church is the veil over the innocent people's eyes. Fear only God, not man.

Jesus commentary on the Torah was "if it not about love then you have gone off course."
Rabbi, you're off course.

Ha! Ha! Mizrachi at his best.

Another example is addressing the jews as "the children of Israel",
we all know they are not the actual children of Israel which is another name of Jacob, but they are from his progeny.

19 “And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
20 “For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed.
21 “But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God.”

Actually in your your god created universe in six days and in seventh day he took a rest and in talmud and other oral traditions you said God doesn't need to take a rest that's why we don't agree with you
PLEASE SOMEBODY SEND THE BOOK 📖 TO Donald Trump is Important!! 🙏
Choosen people choose going to hell for murders innocent lives.

Jesus is king and lord !! ✝️🕊️🙌
Jesus did not preach ✝️errorism 😂
The scripture did not say son of David.david himself will be the messiah.
you did you read the generation right one book is the line through Joseph and the other is the linage of Merry
Doesn't matter...
Joseph is not the father of Jesus.
And even if Mary is from the lineage of King David, she is not from the lineage of King Solomon.

"And to the angel of the church in Smyrna write: These are the words of the first and the last, who was dead and came to life: I know your affliction and your poverty, even though you are rich. I know the slander on the part of those who say that they are Jews and are not, but are a synagogue of Satan."
Muhammad, and Joseph Smith, are False Prophets that Jesus warned us about in Mathew 7;15 and Mathew 24;11
Matthew 24;11 King James Version
And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.
Matthew 7;15-20 King James Version
Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?
Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.
A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.
Since you're on the topic of Christ's parents , could you please tell us what your Talmud says of Mariam and Jesus also? THANKS in advance.
The truth
First you said christ then you said jesus. Christ, means messiah in Greek. Jesus was no christ.
And the Talmud tells us his father was a roman soldier.
The Talmud have no time to talk about an illegitimate (a Mamzer) child.
The summary of what we need to know is that whoever calls jessy penny god is into avoda zara...he or she is in big big trouble.
G-D ALMIGHTY hates idol worship.
There was no Messiah born by a virgin...and no god made her pregnant.
Mary and jeses is a Western (Rome-Esav) invention.
@@mannymannyson6720the talmud doesn't claim to be God's word. Its rabbinical Judaism .
@deborahdean8867 it is inaccurate to call it either of those terms.
"New testament" when Tanakh says there's nothing new under the sun. 🤣
Im Danish so automatisk born like a luthersk protestant, but i have just never belive in that bible story, i do belive in a creator but not the Christian religion. So dont know what i can call my self. It cant be ateist becourse of the creator, but not a beliver at the same time. Im fine with that. I dont understand hebrew or greek, so i will never find out the truth, becourse i think the bible is total censur and a lot is pure fiction and bed time storys for kids in the old days.
Im not disrespekt muslims religion but i dont belive that story also. And if i understand it right then the tora is the old testamente in bible. And talmud is a more fanatic version of it i think.
Same here.
Hi, what part of the Muslim story do you not believe?
c'mon bro , Christmas lights are nice
Lakum dinikum waliyadeen!!!
