@@kavkazEagle77 The Bible refers to the rulers of Egypt during the time of Joseph as “Pharaoh”. In the Quran, the ruler of Egypt during Joseph’s time is referred to as a “king” and not a “pharaoh” . The term “pharaoh” is not used to refer to someone before the New Kingdom Period. The ruler of Egypt during the time of Moses is referred to as “pharaoh”.
The Quran is not a copy of the Torah. The Quran also affirms the authenticity of the Torah as a divine revelation. However, the Quran also contains verses that suggest that some of the laws and practices of the Torah have been abrogated or superseded by the Quran. For example, Quran 2:106 states that “We do not abrogate a verse or cause it to be forgotten except that We bring forth [one] better than it or similar to it”. This verse has been interpreted by some scholars to mean that some of the laws and practices of the Torah have been replaced by the Quran.

According to Islam, mother Mary is from the lineage of Moses and Arun. She was not the actual sister, as this jewish rabbi correctly said there is a big age gap. In ancient Semitic usage, a person’s name was often linked with that of a renowned ancestor or founder of the tribal line. Thus, for instance, a man of the tribe of Banu Tamim was sometimes addressed as “son of Tamim” or “brother of Tamim.” Since Mary belonged to the priestly caste, and hence descended from Aaron, the brother of Moses, she was called a “sister of Aaron,” in the same way as her cousin Elizabeth, the wife of Zachariah, is spoken of in Luke 1:5 as one of “the daughters of Aaron.”
Hope this clarifies there is no mistake in the islamic texts.

That's certainly one way of looking at this angel of Hashem figure, but He's always closely connected to God Himself...almost like it's a theophany, a very manifestation of God, in a way that human beings can handle (without being consumed by death.) Hey.. the A’ron or Harun brother to Moses was not the same person with Harun mentioned in surah Mariam. We muslims are not confused at all as we knew they lived in different time periods

Come on Rabbi, do a better job. You know that absolutely no Muslims consider Moses or Aaron to be literal uncles of Mary. It is figurative according to all interpretations. In fact, the bible refers to Mary , as the daughter of Aaron, yet people don't take that literally.
The Quran refers to Mary, upon her be peace, as the “sister of Aaron” in reference to her descent from the lineage of the Prophet Aaron, upon him be peace. This type of reference is common in ancient Semitic languages and in the Bible.

Mughira ibn Shu’ba reported: When I came to Najran, the Christian monks asked me, “You recite the verse: O sister of Aaron (19:28), whereas Moses was born long before Jesus by such-and-such years.” When I came back to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, I asked him about it and he said:
إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا يُسَمُّونَ بِأَنْبِيَائِهِمْ وَالصَّالِحِينَ قَبْلَهُمْ
Verily, they would name people with the names of prophets and righteous people who had gone before them.

علي بن أبي طلحة والسدي قيل لها يٰأُخْتَ هَـٰرُونَ أي أخي موسى وكانت من نسله
Alli ibn Abu Talha and As-Suddi said: It was said to her: O sister of Aaron (19:28), meaning the brother of Moses because she was from among his descendants.
Ibn Kathir added:
كما يقال للتميمي يا أخا تميم وللمضري يا أخا مضر
This is like saying to somebody from the Tamimi tribe: O brother of at-Tamim, or to somebody from the al-Mudari tribe: O brother of Mudar.

Is that why Torah was changed LOL. Fourth, the data shows that the rabbis have changed their interpretation of the Hebrew word “mashiah” because they have rejected Jesus Christ and want to avoid the appearance that Jesus fulfills this prophecy. But the ancient Jews who lived before the time of Jesus had a different understanding than the modern day rabbis. Rabbis today refuse to accept the historic understanding of the prophecy that existed before Christ was born, was crucified, and resurrected because they reject Jesus Christ as the Messiah. The truth is Jesus fulfilled the prophecies of Psalm 2:2; Daniel 9:24-26; and Micah 5:2.

@@jumbo9301 Do you think Moses received the instructions for how to perform the commandments in the torah? Yes or no? The torah gives no practical instructions on how to perform the commandments. The instructions and even how to write the torah scroll and how to read it acc to what punctuation, was and is all part of the oral torah. The talmud is a commentary of the mishna. The mishna is a abridged compilation of instructions on how to uphold the vague laws of the torah. As we are commanded in Deut 17 verses 10-13, we must, by God's instruction, listen to the torah sages and head judges that were in the Temple Court. All Jewish law today (except for 18 laws which the courts ruled like Shamai) go according to the head judge of the temple court Hillel the Elder, a century + before the 2nd temple was conquered etc. The talmud contains countless word for word teachings from the temple courts going back to the great assembly whom the prophets were part of at the beginning of the 2nd temple era. So, yes, the talmud has countless of things passed down directly from Moses as it clarifies "this is halacha from Moshe from Sinai". Seek truth.

We, the Christians always respect and love the jews in our teachings. never heard of anyone talk bad about Judaism. This is a rabbi, calling Jesus, names and the rest are nonsense are pathetic. Mary and Joseph were related. They’re both descendants of David. So it doesn’t matter if Joseph wasn’t Jesus’ biological father because Joseph and Mary still come from the same bloodline.
What it meant when the Quran says oh sister of Aaron meaning Mariam this is the Semitic tribal way of calling someone by the name of a well-known person from there heritage but since the rabbi is from Europe and he’s claiming to be from the children of Israel, he doesn’t know this fact because he’s not from the children of Israel he’s a European colonist

Rabbi and audience; here is the correct explanation for the genealogies in the New Testament:
The Two Genealogies (Chuck Missler, K House)
The Bible provides us with two lengthy genealogies of Christ. Matthew, as a Levite, focuses on the Messiahship of Jesus in that he traces the legal line from Abraham (thought to be the first Jew) through David, then Solomon and the royal line, to Joseph, the legal father of Jesus (Matthew 1:1-17) and the husband of Mary. Luke, as a physician, focuses on the humanity of Jesus. He traces the blood line from Adam (the Son of God versus us, the sons of Adam) and once Luke gets to Abraham, the genealogy is identical to Matthew’s up to the House of David. Then Luke goes from David, through Nathan (a different son of David) to Mary, the mother of Jesus (Luke 3:23-38).
Christians believe in letters that were written after The Law and The Prophets, we call them the New Testament.
Jews believe in letters that were written after The Law and The Prophets, they call them the Talmud.
Muslims believe in letters that were written after The Law and The Prophets, they call them The Quran.
On the day of Judgement, we will find out from YHVH himself, who was right and who was wrong.
Until then, we can know a tree by the fruit it bares.
Matthew's list of names refers to Joseph's lineage, (said to be relevant because he became the adopted father of Jesus.) It's not an exhaustive lineage (leaving out some "less important" names in order to fit into the "14 generations " listed. It's interesting to note that 14, 14 and 14 listed in Mathew,'s "generations" correspond to Dalet (4) Vav (6) and Dalet (4)--that's 14--and gives us the name David. Luke's genealogy of Jesus is believed to be from Mary. Together, they are believed to link Jesus directly to David and the royal line, and bring fulfillment to Genesis 3:15 (seed of the woman.) Don't shoot me...I'm just the messenger.

Find an Orthodox Rabbi and discuss it with him. You will be asked lots of questions to see if you're really serious. Don't do it halfheartedly.

Quran says when the people of Mary saw her with the infant Jesus, they questioned her about the child and one of them said to her "O [Mary] sister of Aaron, your father was not a man of evil, nor was your mother unchaste.” Quran 19:28.
Hence people say that the author of the Qur'an has confused Miriam the sister of Aaron with Mary, the mother of Jesus who lived centuries apart.

In the days of Jesus and Prophet Muhammad and even now in the Arabian peninsula, people address each other by the name of their pious ancestors.
That's the reason you see the Bible addressing Jesus in several places as "the son of David" (Matthew 9:27), though we know David was not the father of Jesus.
Another example is addressing the jews as "the children of Israel",
we all know they are not the actual children of Israel which is another name of Jacob, but they are from his progeny.

Mary's (the mother of Jesus) father was from the family of Amram and Mary's mother was from the family of Aaron. That is why Mary was called the Daughter of Amram and sister of Aaron in the Quran. Mary's father has direct relation that extends to Solomon and David.

In the case of Jesus whom you call christ, he hasn't even come close to fulfilling 99 percent of the prophecies. Everyone is from two lineages. The lineage recorded in Matthew goes through King David to Joseph, the husband of Mary. The lineage recorded in Luke goes through King David to Heli, the father of Mary.

According to Islam and the Quran, Aaron and Moses are not the uncles of Jesus, but as you may quite well know, the expression "O daughter of Aaron" was related to a common way of naming people according to their noble ancestors and Prophets. The Prophet Muhammed himself had a wife of Jewish origins, Safiyyah bint Huyayy. And when a lady had insulted her because of such origins and she was crying, he consoled her by wiping her tears and saying: "Certainly, you are the daughter of a Prophet, Aaron, your uncle is a Prophet, Moses, and you are married to a Prophet, Muhammad; so what is she boasting to you about?" (Jami’ al Tirmidhi, 3894). Didn't the Prophet Muhammed really know that his own wife wasn't the direct daughter of Aaron? Come on! If a Jew calls me a cousin, I know he doesn't intend to say that his father is my uncle, but he is respecting me by pointing to our common relation to Abraham, and I always feel very honored to hear that from my Jewish friends.

The Creator Master of the Universe gave the Torah at mount sinai infront of millions of people, millions of 1st hand witnesses. The entire Torah is about the lives of the people recieving the Torah, it details all the miracles and plagues they saw with their own eyes in egypt, at mount sinai, and in the desert for 40 years. If even 1 person who recieved the torah would deny what is written in it, ie: that the claims in it were not accurate, then you would know its not a divine book. God doesn't come to millions of people and tell them they witnessed something that their eyes did not actually witness. The people receiving the Torah would say "excuse me, when did this plague happen? When did the ocean split? I didn't see any of this! We know a New Covenant was prophesied to be given (Jeremiah 31:31-34).
This New Covenant would have been given at some point after Judah returned from the Babylonian Exile (Jeremiah 50:1-5). The New Covenant would have provided atonement for the nation's sins (Ezekiel 16:59-63) after the Old Covenant was broken (Hosea 8:1, Jeremiah 11:10, Deuteronomy 31:16, 1 Kings 19:10).
Rabbi Alexandri explains: if the Jewish people merit redemption, the Messiah will come on the clouds of Heaven. If the Jewish people do not merit redemption, the Messiah will come lowly and riding upon a donkey. (Sanhedrin 98A - Talmud)
The Messiah comes once upon a donkey (Zechariah 9:9, John 12:14-15) to provide atonement and begin a New Covenant for a sinful generation (Ezekiel 16:59-63, Luke 22:20). And once via the clouds (Daniel 7:13, Matthew 26:64 -> Luke 21:23-27).

D] This is an end of time event, where God removes the spirit of impurity from the earth (Zechariah 13 verses 1-6) and free will as we know it today will no longer be, hence what it says in Ezekiel 36 "and I will CAUSE that you go in My laws and commandments", similar to Deut 30 verse 6's removal of the foreskin from the heart, ALL so that we can fulfill verse deut 30 verse 10 "to keep all the laws in this torah" forever. It's clear in scripture exactly what the new covenant is.
