What an era. SKT created their Dynasty but at the cost of Uzi never winning a worlds title. I'm a SKT fan but I looooved being a fan for Uzi. At least he was able to get an MSI title.
dw hes coming back next season
Ive heard that he might come back aswell
@@farinthefuture2178 Any teams being speculated? GALA has been insane on RNG so hard to imagine they just give him the boot
@@matthewpundamiera95 RNG also held him in contract prison. I read somewhere that he might have retired to cancel the contract or something, because otherwise, he was doomed to be a content creator for RNG for years. Really don't remember exactly though sorry. Doubt he will come back
@@matthewpundamiera95 i hope its IG, with Uzi i think they will dominate again
Uzi had that GOAT status for adcs right up there with faker for mid laners
Too bad he didn't win any world championship because he fought skt and faker too many times in worlds.
@@deejaay387 especially him being in finals 2 times and lost both sadge
Not even close to faker.
@@syberdieforlove if he had a better team he may have won.
@@syberdieforlove your comprehension is stupidly low, and you're acting almighty on the other comment.
Uzi unreal reaction even wasted his team kayle ult. Xiaohu thought he was caught so ulted uzi.
Imagine being punished for being better. Unreal player
good players constantly get punished by worse mates. They usually have better understanding of the game so they have to invest time in shotcalling and telling their team what to do.

@@ole12345 That wasn't "worse" from Xiaohu, it was just the safest option and he would get blamed if Uzi failed and died.
yeah but to be fair back then uzi mechanically was far ahead of everybody else including faker it did not matter who was his teammate
@@napiernygma8075 Lol what the fuck are you talking about. How do you even measure that. You're speaking as if your opinions are facts. You do know that there are way more mechanical mid lane champs than ADC champs right? UZI would tell you that himself.
Uzi is mechanical as fuck. Always has been at the top for his role too. Probably the best to never win worlds.

nah bro he was just living very unhealthy, nice narrative but he should’ve taken better care of himself, he is working on it tho, hopefully he’ll come back soon
@@qthxng his wrist being fuck has nothing to do with his eating habits. he legit destroyed his wrist from overworking it.
@@HaPham-jn7jk Sadly that's just not the case. It's posture + genetics that creates the risk profile for wrist/hand injury during repetitive motions like kb/m gaming. I've played kb/m games and guitar consistently for like 20 years with 0 issues, heavy heavy usage for two decades. But I know good wrist posture and I won the hand binning lottery. Simple as that. Unluck for Uzi.
@@CyberneticArgumentCreator Dude are u comparing yourself to UZI who practices 10 hours +/day with high intensity and level that u cant never come close. Really dude? Are u that ignorant?
Uzi's reaction time and mechanical prowess is so good that they lost this teamfight. If Xiaohu knew that Uzi can pull that insane reflex off, he should have used that Kayle ult to someone else. That may maybe change the way this teamfight ended. Uzi's so good that they lost this teamfight.
Exactly

Its flawless but not inhuman ;) . Notice there is a ward spotting lee before his Q. He doesnt feel it, he sees it.
@@larrylucid5502 League is the fastest paced moba, and this game was even faster than your regular game. I can't even see everything that's happening in my own game and you think this can be done humanly? To top it all off, it was a tournament deciding game against a team you previously lost to, broadcasted to millions of people. That's a ton of pressure to perform and he still managed to pull it off.

This gives me chills
I remember watching this play live and it blew my mind that after 6 years of playing at that time I didn’t know you could qss Lee sin ult. Also, whenever I show people what insane adcs or insane league gameplay looks like I always go back to SKT v RNG 2019 worlds
Qss on knock ups used to be weird. Gets rid of the “stun” effect but still leaves you in the air. So nutty shit like this was possible.
@@yellowspills6765 while i do remember that mechanic, that’s not why qss flash works on Lee’s kick. It works because when he kicks you, there’s a brief window before the knockback that he roots you, which is the window Uzi utilized to qss and then flash before the knockback actually occurred
@@mahnamecobra5686 Didnt it also work during the actual knockback though?
@@Perazgaming Yeah, it was still doable during the knockback if you cleansed late, but even now it’s still doable, just with a slightly tighter window, as you have to cleanse the root itself
i mean faker did it in 2014 against fnatic and a few others as well. but uzi play was just much cleaner
Uzi is a mechanical god, I remember back then rekkles feared him cause he never won a game against him. When rekkles won he started crying, gave me chills.
Everybody feared him, he was the uncontested adc goat
Everybody feared Uzi he was the mechanical god for ADC
lol sure, #fakenews
@@syberdieforlove I mean it actually happened…
@@syberdieforlove Everything okay dude?
I remember this play too, I was watching this live and was jumping with excitement
It's fucking nutty. As Ez I cleansed a Singed throw. It was just Aram but damn, that shit felt goooooood (we won the fight of it too and won game, full honors for literally that moment) so like just imagine being on the World stage in front of millions repping your country vs the best players and it just makes it that much more crazy. And he's probably done this multiple times or on command. People like him where just built different.
The funny/sad thing is that they probably lost the fight because of this insane play because kayle ulted him for no reason practically. INSANE
Playing like that , everyone understood how Uzi destroyed his hands . He's too good for his own body .
LOOK AT THE CLEANSE, LOOK AT THE MOVES!
Best use of QSS ever… fucking insane.
I always remember doublelift at world saving flash for summer vacation
Uzi was just playing for the right region at the wrong time
I've always thought elite adc players are the better mechanical players than any other roles, people may think it's just right clicking but you gotta be ultra fast with your mouse and all the other stuff you gotta be aware of
I dont think its true that they have the best mechanics but the best adcs for sure have the best positioning because u get punished so easily for mispositioning as an adc
@@commentsaretrue4570 In general pro-Adcs mechanic is better since the roles require them to. you don't provide anything other than dmg so if u r not solid mechanically u wont do anything. On the other hand, Adcs doesn't have to know as much as other role since ADCs have less champs to play and less macro decision to make. A worse top laner can play tanks to neutralize the game not ADCS
@@commentsaretrue4570 Adcs have the best mechanics cause u need them. Doing damage when the solo purpose of the enemy team is to focus u is hard to do. Let me put it this way. Adc is the only role where top tier mechanics are required to climb. All the other roles macro can make up for lack of mechanics.
@@antoniodiamonte3424 rmb is not a mechanic
Uzi and Khan are two of the greatest players in the history but did't lucky enough to have a world champion ( khan dint even win MSI so sad). I did watch a youtube video about Khan career and it make me cry.
Proof that the “zone” is very real
Uzi on SKT would've been lit
Doublelift being the trash talker as he was, faker and uzi were the ones he truly respects a lot.
the uncrowned king
There's a faster one by Bang in an SKT vs JAG game in the LCK

I wish we had proviews that year
I always loved uzi that guy was GOAT for adc.
I loved 2019 worlds
I'd imagine this is extra hard on non lan(online). And you rarely get an opportunity to even try this on stage which would give you the best chance in terms of ping or lack thereof. (enemy first needs to pick Lee, needs to kick you when you have qss and flash etc.)
dont try this anymore, you cant cleanse knockups. game got changed
I remember this QSS flash, so insane
He and faker were doing things which we just imagined we could do. GOAT
Boy they were doing things we didn't even know was possible.
I think this only happened because he was rooted when lee goes to kick
Despite kayle being fast enough to use her ult it didn’t do much
it was wild
how many babies does DL want from Uzi ? jesus
I'm still really broken up at the fact that he never won worlds. Hopefully Gala carries his legacy and takes names this year

Btw Ghost won worlds T_T
@@akshaymishra3674 ghost has a team + he didn't even play bad at all. His KDA was actually pretty nuts
Aight. Even if he lost in finals series to faker twice and once to overly dominant ssw squad. Uzi's kda wasn't bad at all.. Other team was just better. Uzi carrying his team as always. Protect the puppy strat for uzi was effective just because uzi was just too good. Adc aggressor with the insane mechanics. Both laning phase and teamfights. He's that good
Omfg that that is fked up
Uzi missed that ezreal Q afterward. Might have made a difference in winning that series.
Not too sure if his reaction is fast or he predicted that and was expecting Leesin to kick him and just waiting to QSS flash. Sometimes prediction can make it seem like you have insane reation.
even if he does notice lee sin was behind the wall, he was still attacking leona at the time.
It's either both or fast reaction. He e forward to kill Leona berfore Lee Sin kicked. I'd guess that his screen wouldn't be focused on lee sin. Plus there really is no point of burning flash and QSS to bait lee sin ult and your own team's kayle ult if he saw it coming.
It's insane either way, the cleanse flash was instant.
I wouldn't say that he didn't saw it coming at all. I'd guess that he's slightly prepared but his reaction time is the bigger factor in this play.
I thought the same. That kind of fraction is literally inhuman. He was so fasti on reacting because of prediction. Probably he new he was the main target so his metal process was already focused on dodge and avoid a enemy cc, so when lee appeared he was prepared. I think that this make all more fascinating cuz in the meantime he is doing damage and still he had the mechanical reflexes to make the play. What a player
i saw that play in a highlight, the casters didn't seem to bat an eye but i knew that play was some faker shit
You can't call uzi shit faker shit. They are on the same tier basically. One all time best mid another all time best adc.
i don't think its the second button that makes it hard, but rather repositioning your cursor for the split second in the middle of the fight.
bonus points cuz he's playing ez, so he has to readjust cursor for skillshots right after
Uzi missplayed that fight badly. E'd into flanking lee sin which forsed him to burn flash and cleanse and his midlaner wasted R on him. If he would've perfectly played that fight who knows what outcome it would be.
DL knows he'll never come close to being this good
Because he's part of the 5 men SLEEP team...
Faker = MJ and Uzi = Karl Malone. greatest player to never win worlds.
Ok
If it was NA adc he would press flash after kick knockup and qss after.

@@shotgunammo Actually Eu won worlds once.
can you still qss knockback and knock up?
No. you can't QSS airborne CC anymore
Uzi QSS the root from Lee R, cancelling the Lee ult entirely.

League players talking about "mechanics" for a 4 button game and a 2 button combo is hilarious. Play literally any rts or fighting game of you want to talk about mechanics. 💀
Meanwhile gangplank can eat an orange and can cleanse even knockups
I mean faker is clearly number 1 all time and for me uzi is clearly number 2 all time . So it makes sense that he was a bit different.
bro missed like 4qs xd not clean at all
Weixiao is the best adc player that league ever produced, but uzi is close to him
Uzi is def a legendary ADC but I can't watch him later in his career because he had insane mechanics but his fight selection and stubbornness actually was making him a liability. Dude was so good mechanically, but refusing to learn champs you don't like and not allowing your team to play meta playstyles really hurt them at s8-s10 worlds, he'd also constantly get picked out and take bad fights, still and absolute goat for the early days of his career!
All uzi had was an entire team that played arround him and a ad carry meta game to make him shine. He was good but not even close to Bang (numbers not my opinion) at that time.
Bang was just there as a second carry for faker.. Bang was never the focal point for his team.. Yes I do agree to the protect the puppy strat but uzi never stopped there.. If you watch over his career. He's not always behind his team, in fact he's the initiator even being the adc.. Bang is there to be the carry if faker was having a bad game.. Bang never outplayed uzi alone in any of their matchups..
So you're wrong to never even close to bang. Uzi was better. Bang is good but not in uzi level...
You want proof?. What happened to bang in NALCS?. What happened to uzi when he was with a new team?
Still not better than prime adc perkz

You think he isn't? Lmfao what world you living in where uzi isn't praised.
You: Clicks on a video about a specific play made by Uzi
Also you: He should be praised for his other plays
I mean the context of the video was him talking about the QSS flash mechanic not Uzi as a player, he was praising uzi for basically executing the most perfect qss flash mechanic on a stage game because the initial thing he was talking about was QSS flash.
Uzi is known as the worst adc in the world. He never won worlds because he's a noob.
Actually sad that the one play he brings up is a losing one and he's all hyped on pressing 2 buttons that happened to be perfect timing. The standards for perfect plays are disgustingly low
He never said it was a perfect play. He just says Uzi's muscle memory is insane and fast. You're malding for an arguement that doesnt exist.
Most random mald ive seen so far
@@j0hncarp it’s simply not that impressive though compared to like any other esport. Yeah, muscle memory, reactions. Just like all fighting game players, just like all shooter players, just like all RTS players. And it’s two buttons. It’s not 600 APM like StarCraft or melee. And yeah, the timing was good, but people are forced to do frame perfect techniques in fighting games and speed runs so it’s actually not that crazy. Sorry
And I’m not denying that he’s not fucking incredible at the game. He obviously is. But this kind of play isn’t what makes him so amazing. It’s his deep understanding of the game and decision making
