I will also perform the diagnostic checks at the end, which is something I had not thought of doing before. I hope your channel is doing well. I have a 95 C4 with 95,000 miles and the engine makes a popping sound when the motor is in full Throttle... like it's not getting enough fuel... so I changed the original Fuel Filter and the Electric Fuel Pump and it still does it... the new electric fuel pump is a (Percision Fuel Pump Kit)....Any ideas?
It was definitely the Fuel Pressure Regulator... got a new one it's on and starts perfect every time on the first crank.... Thank you so much for your time and knowledge..👍🏻

Could be the start of an opti-spark failure. It is very hard to diagnose something that happens only at full throttle!

@@mrdeanv4414 can you replicate the issue in the driveway or does the car need to be under load and driving when it happens?
@@justcorvettecrazy116 yes it has to be under a load... idling the car is perfect... driving normal the car runs great...

did this exact fix just a few months ago - the Corvette engineers made this replacement pretty easy. shocker
If only they had the same people design the Opti-spark system all would be good. LOL
