    Being able to get this bouncy helps immensely in 5v5. It helps secure rebounds, contesting shots and of course, finishing over taller defenders. Very impressive considering the patience and effort required!

    Dude huge thanks to you. I am right now 6'5" and only 15. I have a disease in my achilles tendon where it doesn't grow as fast as my shen and it makes it really hard to jump. I cant dunk so its kinda embarrassing being 6'5" and not being able to. These workouts I hope help me get to where I need to be to dunk so huge thanks for the motovation.

    Not to spoil your progress cause you made gains FOR SURE, but the LA fitness rims are notorious for being under 10’, like around 9’9”-10’. I only say this to motivate you to get it on a TRUE 10’ rim just so you know you aren’t cheating yourself. I love how Jordan Kilganon measures every rim he dunks on cause he never wants to cheat himself

    “He was despised and rejected- a man of sorrows, acquainted with deepest grief. We turned our backs on him and looked the other way. He was despised, and we did not care. Yet it was our weaknesses he carried; it was our sorrows that weighed him down. And we thought his troubles were a punishment from God, a punishment for his own sins! But he was pierced for our rebellion, crushed for our sins. He was beaten so we could be whole. He was whipped so we could be healed. All of us, like sheep, have strayed away. We have left God’s paths to follow our own. Yet the Lord laid on him the sins of us all. He was oppressed and treated harshly, yet he never said a word. He was led like a lamb to the slaughter. And as a sheep is silent before the shearers, he did not open his mouth. Unjustly condemned, he was led away. No one cared that he died without descendants, that his life was cut short in midstream. But he was struck down for the rebellion of my people. He had done no wrong and had never deceived anyone. But he was buried like a criminal; he was put in a rich man’s grave. But it was the Lord’s good plan to crush him and cause him grief. Yet when his life is made an offering for sin, he will have many descendants. He will enjoy a long life, and the Lord’s good plan will prosper in his hands. When he sees all that is accomplished by his anguish, he will be satisfied. And because of his experience, my righteous servant will make it possible for many to be counted righteous, for he will bear all their sins. I will give him the honors of a victorious soldier, because he exposed himself to death. He was counted among the rebels. He bore the sins of many and interceded for rebels.”
    ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭53:3-12‬ ‭NLT‬‬
    "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life." John 3:16
    God loves you so much and showed that by sending His Son to die for us so that we may inherit eternal life. We deserve hell but He gave us heaven through faith in Jesus. He took the punishment we deserved and by putting our faith in Him we can be saved. The Key To Eternal Life:

    I think you could dunk off the dribble if you focus on technique. I always think of my first dribble leads me into my penultimate step then I step into it, and I am dunking. Also try to make sure you are coming straight down when you come down from the rim. Focus on a solid landing. It is bigger than what you would think. You won't get injured as well if you land with your knees bent on the landing, and you will make more dunks as well. Your balance will be greatly improved.

    I got my first windmill at 19 at 5’10. I was the most unathletic kid you could even imagine at 12 years old. Taught myself hand eye coordination and jumping/jump training technique. I was so obsessed with dunking and getting my first dunk and I got it at 16 in ripped up Tom’s. My journey didn’t end there. I wanted so much more and I got it. I got my first windmill over a year and a half ago and it was the highlight of my athletic career. The dunk training is gruesome and very difficult but if you put your kind to something and put in the work and work your ass off you’ll accomplish feats that seem impossible today. I believe in any of you guys trying to dunk or literally anything in life. Keep working hard and the gains will come. Much love 🫶🏽🙌🏽

    I know what u mean about that break, when I was in high school I worked on my legs endlessly but after like a week off trying to jump again just felt like I could jump out the gym. Once all them tore muscles heal up that’s when the results pay off I think.

  • @mphillips5366
    @mphillips5366 2 роки тому

    I'm not a Dr, but I'd say rest helped cause ur legs were added weight with the strength training and added muscle mass. Muscle fed the ligaments and tendons. Had to eat the muscle,leaving leaner strengthened legs. Able to jump higher without the extra weight. Cool video tho. I'm similar height, would love to dunk. I'll I'll prob just stick to 2K tho. Keep up the content. Basketball is king.

    You need to work on explosiveness on your calf raises. Just doing reps will make the calf stronger, but you need to train explosiveness, get a weight vest, or use some dumbbells, do less more explosive reps. Do that for an entire week, rest a day, then do a good stretch and try again. This is what I used to do to dunk, I'm 5'8 and could easily dunk. I think your exercises are good, just add some weight vest and more explosive, less reps
