Yo sick video! Can I ask a quick question, why do you use the mk2 in conjuction with the octa? I actully have both devices too but bassicaly picked up the octatrack for next to nothing because of a fault that I fixed witch is a long way of me saying, I have not yet gotten used to using it but just assumed it would be better than the mk2 for adding effects over top ect?
Thanks man. So yes, I am just running the octatrack through the 404 and using some effects. I do love the 404 for making beats a little More though due to its simplicity. The octatrack has been collecting dust so I thought to myself “let’s make a beat on this thing” so I pulled it out and bam 💥 The octatracks work flow is pretty dope though. There’s a couple of things you can do on it that you can’t on the 404. One of my favorite is the mix knob, I love how you can just pull tracks in and out. But yeah, in this particular video the 404 used only for effects. 🤙
Great video, great collage of "inner child" free flowing noodling, and excellent beat. One comment about the video editing - there's a lot of little cuts, and I for one like hearing you actually talk for a bit. You don't have to take out every single second between your last sentence and the next one, Let us BREATHE and notice those spaces and pauses, just like in music, there needs to be some space between the notes and beats. I counted 106 edits in 6 min 41 second video, Let it flow - just like your philosophy, and as I said, I genuinely like hearing you speak and think and ponder without it being chopped up like chopping beats in a sampler. Other than that, great video and killer beat!

Yeah I’ve had a few videos do pretty well there. I’ve been losing followers though for over a year so I don’t do much there anymore lol. At least like I use to.
I dont think instagram, youtube, etc are for non-corporate backed artists etc. Once they started charging you to reach your own subscribers/audience it turned to crap. Its not a great place to be, but, knowing the corporate greed is afraid of real artists and real art taking eyes off their pre-made fake artists makes me glad. The powers that be are scared shitless these days of anything containing the irreplaceable human spirit. Anyone not hip to this fact hasnt been paying attention. Stay real, man.
Yeah I feel you. That’s what happened on my instagram. Everything I use to post would reach 30-50k of 100k following which I understood. Then literally overnight things changed. And now my post reach around 3-5k some post as low as reaching only 1800 followers. And I’ve lost over 10k followers this past year so it’s not been too fun lol. That’s why I am building here.
