Deciding factor(s) are if you really need the long reach & if you really need the extra inch for lower/higher. All jacks should be serviced and inspected and maintained for longevity, negating the 'super duty' concept for the (serious) hobbyist... I agree the foot lever is just to raise the lifting pad for quick approximate height and placement.
Said its really heavy. You really think its 103 lbs as advertised? That seems a bit ridiculous thinking about it. I know any jack ive ever had to lift isnt very light but 100+ lbs sounds like a hernia explosion to me lol hopefully i wont have to lift it anywhere but i will move in a year or 2 so ill have to move it eventually. Oh and will it roll decently over gravel? I can fit my truck into my garage 1 end at a time but cab is too tall to fit. Possibly some jobs ill need to do in my gravel driveway
Hey man! about 10 months ago you posted a video going over the ebay cast manifold you run on your 1.8, I have the same one, I have yet to put it on but I have a question for you. The manifold is super thick where the bolts thread in, so do you know what size bolt you used for the manifold? Sorry for the off topic question, but thank you.
I just took one out of the stock manifold and measured the difference between the thickness of each manifold. then took that bolt to the hardware store and bought some grade 10.9 bolts with the same diameter and thread. I hope that makes sense.
The foot pedal isn't meant to be able to lift with but to more easily lift to contact once you get the jack under the vehicle.
Good to know. I was so confused 😂.
Lol I know exactly what you mean about it getting seemingly even bigger when you get it home. Things massive!
@@darkl3ad3r massive!!!
That's what she said!

Most of my cars are low so that was the factor for me👍🏻 but I agree 100%
Good honest review 👍🏽
lol I just bought this exact jack and had the same dilemma between this and the super duty.
You won’t be disappointed. I absolutely love it. You made a good choice🙌
I just bought one. I first noticed that it's very heavy and lifts very slowly.
Just qtr of an in length difference?

I haven’t had a chance to try gravel. But it goes over extension cords pretty good😂
@tdtgarage1697 lol that's an important test to pass! Who has time to be lifting cords to pull it under or move them? Ain't nobody got time for dat!

@@tdtgarage1697 Thats what I was going to do as well, just wasnt sure if you happened to know the length you had gotten.
@@agelast9831 dang it’s been so long I don’t remember.. I’m sorry 😢
