Someone may have already mentioned this, but the foot pump is not at all for jacking up vehicles, it is only a speed function to quickly raise the jack arm into contact with the lift point of the vehicle, after which the handle must be used in order to get enough leverage to raise the weight of the vehicle.
You should look at get some jacking rails. Steeda or Ztek make a set for the focus. Both increase the area where you can lift the car from and you don't have to worry about your pinch welds.. I have steeda's and can lift the side of the car with a single jack and position stands easily from there.
Kinda pointless. Seeing how you have to still look under the car to locate the pinchwheld. Which defeats the purpose of the foot pump. Glad to hear that you can't raise it.nwill just go with the heavy duty version
@avguylyfe5837 I mean for me it works great got it for my ranger. The foot pedal works great because I can roll it right under the axle or frame then pump it to set it to pump up
After long-term use, what is everyone's opinion on fancy colors (paint), use, dirt, oils, ....trying to consider color options probably go with black,, these fancy colors (green, orange, red,)After use take a beating and look horrible.
It's meant to allow you to reach deeper under the car. His other jack is relatively shorter, and wouldn't be able to reach a deeper lifting point. In any case, he's not using the long reach because he's lifting it from the side jack points.

You are exactly correct. The foot pump isn't for quickly jacking up the vehicle only quickly to raise up the arm to its contact point under the car.

I’ve used this thing over and over and over. Orange still looks great! Very happy with the Jack
