I'd rather you build bikes like this beauty than go crazy filming. Simply put, you have a talent for building great choppers, and there can never be too many of them. PS, this one's PERFECT!
My first bike was a 77 Xs650 that I bought bone stock and ended up with a wicked bobber many years and winters later. I would do my mods over the winter. It was a badass little bike I wish I hadn't sold. I've had quite a few bikes since then, but always remember that little screamer.
Just watched the interview on motorcycle archives just want to say Thanks for your honesty on mental illness, I've been suffering from it and found the right medicine over the years that works for me, I am 62 and I share with anyone that's interested my journey to being happy and it shouldn't have a stigma attached. Thanks for your channel I used to have Harley's in my 20's to my 40's life changes I still want another old shovel keep up the good work
Beautiful bike man. Figuring out on mine on how to get some of the vibration to make it long trip rideable took me awhile to figure out on my 1980 xs 650 raked out chopper. I didn’t have the money for a rephase to the motor. I used different sprockets. It’s a blast to ride. God bless and keep it shiny side up.
Hell yeah good shit Yama, great you’re still getting after it. Always love these build videos, lookin forward to more. Hope you’re doin well shops lookin stellar!
Please, post the ling version of the top end refresh. Also please document the Evo BT build. I’ve been looking at a 99 FLST and starting that process. You rule.
My opinion, is yes, just post it, if it's long format, do it in parts man, I luv watchin your vids, the yamaha build is pretty cool, u don't need to apologize for shit, life gets in the way, and when it's not in the way, then it's time to rock.......🍻 cheers from southern ontario canada
Thinking about purchasing a 650 for my first bike and to hopefully work my way up to building it into a chopper! Is this a bike you recommend stickin with or should I look for a sportster ?
Killer bike. Inspiring to see something smaller and cheaper like the XS that many of us got started out on. Save some money compared to a BT harley! Who is the chill accoustic music playing while the bike is parked at the overlook?
Hi guys. This is Rich from New Jersey. I’m a new subscriber but have been watching your videos for a while. I have an 77 XS650 hard tail bobber. I haven’t seen any of the videos of your XS 650 build yet but I have a question did you guys use a PMA system? The previous owner of my bike did a great job but never added a brake light. I’m no good at electrical and was wondering if you are using a PMA do you have a wiring diagram. I’m a hell of a machinist and would be willing to help you with that if needed. Thanks Rich
i sub ..nice bike . maybe alternate 1 short kinda layout the plan... then a longer video w a more detail build ... you asked i would watch??? paint dry, wiring, tire change, kicking the thing a 100 times in slow mo ..yer dog at the beach or girl friend holding the spark plug !!!! really anything 2 wheels is cool..... for some of us riding is months away.
That's a beautiful bike, would love to see more metric chops from you guys
Haveon more xs650 coming down the pipeline as well as a cheap built savage 650 chopper haha!
Thanks for the support!

I'm interested thinking about making my 89 883 into 1200
I’m doing the same thing this winter. Love the 883 but on the highway, it hates me.
Thinking about purchasing a 650 for my first bike and to hopefully work my way up to building it into a chopper! Is this a bike you recommend stickin with or should I look for a sportster ?
I'd rather for you to do a in-depth videos of it but it could be done in couple of episodes I guess if you don't want to do a long format
