    I would say that the silencer is bit too much. Out of proportion with the rest of the bike which is really nice looking. Most people will change it anyway I guess.

      I agree, s&s already has a slip on released that is shorter than stock and has a better sound. Our service manager was just down there last week and was able to see and hear it. From the sound clip he shared it sounded really good.

    I owned a 2021 scout bobber. Awesome bike! I'll but another one in the future if money is right. I ended up trading it in for a bigger bike to go further distance. I prefer looks of the older modules over this one. I'm sure it's a great bike none the less

      Yeah that’s totally right, looks more retro, but the rear fender and the tank are bigger, so imo the design is less aggressive than before.

    They ruined the whole look of the bike ...pipes are more hideous then the last .... why don't indian focus on what people want .... the 25 sounds crap ....lost my purchase..older models looks and sounds way better appart from yet again the pipes

    • @ZacksRides
      @ZacksRides  3 місяці тому +1

      I respectfully disagree as I don't think its ruined. I do agree with the exhaust though, that muffler is pretty darn big. I have an S&S pipe waiting for the first 2025 we get in for stock. I have big hopes for it. Smaller in size and i hope a deeper louder sound.

      I won't be thinking of trading my '24 Scout Bobber Twenty for this, ever. The 2025 lost the classic design appeal in my opinion...this just looks like a sport bike and sounds like a Honda 750 to me. Very disappointed actually, Indian seems to be making a misstep in the Scout line up.

    With the adjustable piggyback rear shocks it’s possible to reach the comfort of the super scout?

    • @ZacksRides
      @ZacksRides  5 місяців тому

      I haven't had a chance to ride that model yet but from what I see with the bobber, I think that is likely. I rode a first year scout with race tech fork internarls and rear shocks. That bike rode pretty good even with the limited travel. With the re-vamped shocks settings and extra travel I think the super scout will be a decent comfort cruiser. I will definately ride one and share my thoughts once we get it in.

    love the 2025 scout bobber with less electronic gizmos, when I purchase one I hope they will not charge for mid-foot controls. I took great pains on my 2023 FXST with an upgrade to a stage 3 119 C.I mill and low drag bars...This 2025 scout bobber has all this at a great price. As far as sport riding I will keep my 2018 Kawasaki Zed 900 naked sport for that. bought that back then because of the less electronics and the 31.3 seat height. LOVE THESE NEW SCOUTS, Wish Harley would take the hint and revamp their sportster.

    • @ZacksRides
      @ZacksRides  5 місяців тому +1

      We just got in a Sportster S on trade. That is definitely aimed at the scout but I don’t like the execution. The engine has a bit of mechanical noise that isn’t pleasant and I don’t like the handling with a 160 front tire. Looks cool but not for me.

      That is one thing I wasn't thinking about while riding it but I would say yes a little bit. It does have the newer style slipper clutch which claims easier shifting. The seat is deceiving, it seems very similar to the original while sitting on it while stopped. While riding I thought it was a little improved. Luckily there are companies out there with good offerings that should make the engine sound like it should. Very curious to see if you could share your opinion on the feel of a stock 25 scout vs a tuned pre 25’. Had a guy talk about his impressions after riding the new 25 models, he was blown away but his description honestly sounded like he’d only ever ridden a stock pre 25 scout so the ride he described sounded like the ride you’d get out of a tuned/upgraded pre25 scout. Love the newer models but it’s so hard to justify upgrading to It vs getting a chieftain when I’ve already added electronic cruise, custom fitted a motorcycle garmin to the stem that looks factory and many other upgrades on my pre 25, then again I guess the market this is aimed at probably isn’t for current scout owners!

    • @ZacksRides
      @ZacksRides  5 місяців тому +1

      It has been a while since I have ridden a modded scout with anything more than an exhaust. I think this has a very similar feel to a 15-24 scout with upgraded suspension, and a good quality tune. The new one feels smoother than before and has a better clutch. Don't forget it also has .3 more gallons of fuel, lol. Also the gearing is definately longer than before. My 0-100 run I was just getting into 4th if I remember right. Both are great bikes but starting from scratch a 25 is superior unless the savings on a 2024 is more important.
      I would say in your particular situation, the Chieftain is a better bet vs the 25 though. The newer model Scouts are great and I am impressed with the improvements, fit and finish, and the modular nature to upgrades. On the other hand, I also like having multiple bikes. I would say keep your current scout because it is awesome and setup how you want it but then add the Chieftain or similar to your stable if you are looking for a bike more suited for distance riding but still awesome in the corners. No matter what you do to the suspension on the scout it will never ride as well as a Chieftain. That chassis has double the suspension travel of the best scout.
