I always love this time of year when the birds start really amping up their song. It must be the beginning of courtship, before nesting. You'll walk out into a fluffy white morning world, and find they are not a bit inconvenienced. No, they are singing their little hearts out.

I love the scenics - so lucky to be living where you do. My grandfather lived in the middle of a large forest and I enjoyed our long walks where he taught me about forestry and nature. I always look forward to each one of your episodes, so I too can keep living your dream.

As in past years when snow removal and feeding the wood stove became somewhat overwhelming,I think it's okay to let nature dictate your daily schedule for a brief time while you soak up her beauty and count your blessings once again.That Cali still cracks me up every time she lunges after shoveled snow.The sound of the water and the small birds doing their power dives was great.Thanks so very much!

I love how wonderfully you take care of your fur baby. Cali is such a wonderful dog. She is perfect for you and your lifestyle. She reminds me so much of my black lab, Maggie, who after all these years I still miss very much.
How lovely to have all that snow. In s-w Ireland, we only get maybe 4-5 days in the odd year, and it quickly turns to slush.

we don't get much snow in the south of the UK (Cornwall) i used to love walking in it, it always made everywhere look so clean and the scenery takes on a completely different look

No need to apologize. I am a 74 yr. old widow stuck in my apartment thanks to Covid the beauty of this video lifts my heart. I used to travel up North to Timmins and other places this takes me back to a happier time.

So beautiful! I have wanted for many years to actually see the Canadian wilderness. At this point, I doubt I could make the trek on foot. The videos help with that some, but nothing is like actually being there. Thank you so much for sharing what you do, you are living an amazing life!
Winter did something similar here. Very mild initially, then it got very cold with a ton of snow. Feels good in a way to have a 'real' winter like this...
