I’m so early!!! Divine timing is so real. I had the thought to look for a specific job and apply, so I looked on the company’s site and they were hiring. Now I’m on my second day working there and I’m so much closer to buying my house than I was at my old job.
Hi, I am on a career transition and looking for any ideas or inspiration to try! I’ve been struggling for a year now trying different things. What is your new job ? Why is it providing purpose and better income for you?
Challenging disordered thoughts like this has really helped me in my mental health /anxiety journey. But it’s so hard to remember to do when you are in a thought spiral 🌀
I heard a new perspective on tiktok I figured I would share in regards to having children - If you are a good person and intend to raise good humans, then you are the person that should have kids if you want them. We need more goodness in this crazy world
So interesting. My worst-case scenario is not the death of the human race. It's my personal death when this Earth is (or is becoming) an apocalyptic-like place and leaving my boys behind to fend for themselves. If we all perished, I see a sort of peace in that. But if my boys are left behind to live in an unlivable and cruel world when I can't be there to protect them? That's my worst-case scenario. I suppose this means my inspiration is telling me to work towards saving the world. Thanks for the mid-day panic-spiral 😅
I feeeel this, but panic -> power flip might be ok if we are gone and our boys are left to fend for themselves without our protection, what do we do? We teach them how to protect themselves and better the world 🤍 the rest we have no control over
Do you think this works differently when it comes to actions that require extended endurance? Check yes on the whole ‘plan a future date when you will take action’ but I’m curious how that reflects differently for you in the different types of projects you’ve worked on? Something like writing a book, for example, must have demanded a much different rhythm in order to bring into completion.
