Laying some bricks having a chat

- Hello, everyone! Welcome back to our channel. Today, we're going to share a story about a bricklayer and his perspective on life.
Imagine this: a bricklayer, his tool belt full of bricks, mortar, and a trowel, standing at the base of a wall. His job is to build this wall, one brick at a time. But he's not just building any wall; he's constructing something that will last for generations.
As he lays each brick in its place, he pours all his energy and focus into it. And if you were to stand next to him, you might hear him complain about the weight of the bricks or the difficulty of his task. But here's where the lesson lies: this bricklayer isn't complaining because he's struggling; he's struggling because he's committed. He's committed to building something strong and lasting, and that takes hard work.
This story is a fantastic reminder that sometimes life can feel like carrying a heavy load, but it's important to remember why we do what we do and stay focused on our goals. We all have our own walls to build, and no matter how challenging it may be, we can overcome difficulties with determination and perseverance.

Hi scot
Supper to see you back out there it was a Saturday morning giggle. I see you pulled you booster chair out in the next-doors garden. 😂😂🍻🏴🏴
Cheers dave yeh it was mostly a bit of fun with that added humour of not giving a flying blank 😜👍🏴
Mid to late 80's the anticipation was immense. There's something new coming from the States and it will change your life forever. It wasn't the Sopranos or Burger King but something much more pleasurable and you should be so overjoyed that it has come at the right time for your generation. Ecstasy. The first and best were the size of a pound coin and cost a whopping £25. Lasted all weekend.😊😊😊😊
Sounds like the good old days I almost remember it well 😜 best thing since sliced bread 👍🏴
I’ve really missed you talking bollocks. Hoping there’s more to come. Nice job as always 👍
More bollocks coming 👍🏴
@@tidybrickslandscaping tidy bollocks!
The carl pilkinton of bricklaying 😂 i no you can lay bricks scott but your moaning had me in fits especially when you said the line is confusing when it was tangled. A lot may not get your humour but we certainly do you said a bit of fun and it was definitely that mate 😂😂 nice for that drive way mate 👍
Pissing string lines in a mess hate that gets me all confused 😂 straight talker and more to come like that it’s my new way 👍🏴
I love your attitude. 😅
Feck em all lol 👍🏴
Welcome back! How is the ankle?
Ankles still a bit shit but slowly getting stronger 👍🏴
Hi mate love your work and your vlogs. I live in Cardiff and have experience labouring if you have any work please reply thanks
I’m only doing small jobs atm but I’ll keep that in mind 👍🏴
Nice wall just laid foundations for a block wall on a slope back of the house. Solid ground so dug it out 6 inch foundations a bit over engineered and will tilt the blocks 5-6 degrees lean into the slope to build a herb garden just under 8m long so 3 anchor points hope that sounds good. And laying the blocks flat down for extra strength a DIY as I can’t afford a bricke but my retired neighbour is old school builder so keeping an eye on me and I keep an eye on him a real gent 👍
Sounds like a great neighbourly thing too do and yes block flat always the stronger option 👍🏴
Thanks Scott yep a top man very knowledgeable and fixed his roof and re did his facia boards and gutters and fitted a new shower and cooker for him to repay all his advice. He calls me the oldest apprentice in town lol 😂

Thought you was just building pizza ovens
Still waiting on my first customer and waiting to close down tidybricks first before I open a new company advertising it but that will be soon 👍🏴
Should never be a cut in it
If it don’t fit it don’t fit
Could have started with half instead of stretcher and opened perps
@@tidybrickslandscaping that’s what she said 😉
How about it just didn’t fit !!!! And not having huge perps either FO
@tidybrickslandscaping how about you're not a bricklayer? Stop pretending then. Putting a cut in a wall is a joke goodbye
